It is common nowadays to see some morons in the west attacking Islam as a religion. Without an atom of fear or shyness, they are proud to show that they attacked Allah, the Lord of the world, the Holy Koran, the last divine revelation sent to the world entire, and Prophet Muhammad the seal of the prophets. Their foolishness took them to believe that Allah is not a true God but a moon god, a monkey god, a demon god, Muhammad is a pretender, and the Koran is his invention. In their view however, the true god is only theirs, a man nailed to the cross, their corrupted books that were written by a set of persons years after the lifting up of Jesus to his Lord, and who have never seen Jesus before, are the only divine reliable books. Their Prophet is unique for he is the Lord in heaven and His son on earth. They have no problem whatsoever to add to this sick imagination the Holy Ghost to complete the concept of the Trinity, a concept considered by Allah as blasphemous! The Koran, which they belie, defile and burn, came specifically for them to warn them to abandon superstitions and worship Allah the One and the only Lord of the world. Whether they like it or not, the Koran they sneeze at, is the true authentic Book of Allah sent as a last chance to the whole world. It brings good tidings to the believers and severe warning to the disbelievers. Allah Himself swears by His miraculous creation that the Koran is the truth personified. No! I swear by the setting of the stars and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it. It is surely a Noble Koran in a hidden Book none but the purified shall touch, a sending down from the Lord of all being. What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, and do you make it your living to cry lies? (Al-Waqi’ah 75-82). No! I swear by that you see and by that you do not see, it is the speech of a noble Messenger. It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe nor the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. A sending down from the Lord of all Being (Al-Haqqah, 38-43). Allah suffices as a witness. He bears witness that He has sent the Koran to all creation: No! I swear by that you see and by that you do not see it is a speech of a noble Messenger, it is not the speech of a poet little do you believe, nor the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. A sending down from the Lord of all being (Al-Haqqah, 38). The Koran is glad tidings to those who believe in Allah and follow His Law, for the Koran is a Message of Mercy and forgiveness through repentance and amendment. But in the case of the wicked, it is a cause of sorrow, for it denounces sin and proclaims the punishment of those who do not turn from evil. Surely, it is a Reminder to the god-fearing; but We know that some of you will cry lies. Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; yet indeed it is the truth of certainty. Then magnify the name of thy Lord – the All-Mighty (Al-Hqqah 48-52). Allah warns those who reject the Koran and mock at it: The Day of Resurrection draws near. Do you then marvel at this discourse, and do you laugh and not weep, while you make merry. So bow yourselves before Allah and serve Him (Al-Najm 57-62). Unfortunately, most of the enemies of Islam are located in the United States, a country known by democracy and freedom, but all of a sudden, it became a staunch enemy to Islam, and now we can see pulpits and platforms everywhere tarnishing Muslims and their religion. The enemies of Islam use in their attacks a mixture of lies and falsehood. They rely on the fact that their people are unaware of Islam, so they blind them from the truth by feeding them deceit, and lies. These liars are found in every level of the American society. You find them in churches, schools, the  military, the Congress, Tea Party, neoconservatives, Judeo-Christian coalition, Christian Right, Evangelicals, etc. It may seem that the whole country stands now against Islam and Muslims, but in fact, they stand against their Creator, and His Message directed to them in particular. The perpetrators are in fact turning their country into an evil land vulnerable to Allah’s wrath. This hatred towards Islam -the only religion Allah will accept from His servants on the Day of Judgment – this deliberate impudence against the Creator, is in fact lacerating America and taking it down. The religious fabric of the nation exemplified by The Evangelicals, the Christian Right, the Judeo-Christian coalition, and the televangelists, have joined force to tarnish Islam. Those known as the Christian leaders, without having any knowledge about Islam except from the biased media, are smearing Islam with dirt, and are not aware that by this, they are bringing Allah’s collective punishment on their heads and on their nation. Politicians, neo-conservatives and members of the Tea Party joined force with these groups and now speak the same language of hatred. All this hatred towards Allah the Creator, His Prophet and the Koran has spread discord between Muslim and non-Muslim Americans without any reason. Let alone the grudge they implanted in the hearts of one billion and five hundred million Muslims living in the four corners of the world. Those known as televangelists are saying outrageous things about Islam. The most impudent words uttered by a televangelist against Islam were those of Pat Robertson. This man is an American media mogul, executive chairman, and a former Southern Baptist minister, who generally supports conservative Christian ideals. He presently serves as Chancellor of Regent University and Chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Network. A man, who is supposed to be a man of God, issued the most despicable words about Islam and Prophet Muhammad. No wonder, some of his compatriots call him “false prophet”. Pat Robertson claimed that Islam is not a religion; but a violent political system bent on the overthrow of the governments of the world and world domination; He went on to elaborate that “you’re dealing with not a religion, you’re dealing with a political system, and I think we should treat it as such, and treat its adherents as members of some fascist group; Muslims are worse than the Nazis; Islam is a Christian hersey; Prophet Muhammad was an absolute wild-eyed fanatic… a robber and a brigand; Islam, at its core, teaches violence; Muslims want global domination and that the outpouring of rage elicited by cartoon drawings of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad just shows the kind of people we’re dealing with; Muslims are crazed fanatics motivated by demonic power; Islam is satanic; Islam is not a religion of peace. He further said, “It’s amazing how the Muslims deal with history and the truth with violence. They do not understand what reasoned dialogue is! I collected his insults during the years 2001 and 2002. In year 2008, Pat Robertson further said: “The struggle is whether Hubal, the Moon God of Mecca, known as Allah, is supreme, or whether the Judeo-Christian Jehovah God of the Bible is Supreme.” In 2014, an American Christian woman was generous enough to accomodate for weeks a Muslim boy whose father kicked him out of the house. The woman asked Pat Robertson whether what she did was right or wrong. He replied: “Don’t let muslim demons inside your home. You don’t have to bring an unclean soul inside your home”! These insults and accusations are all lies. How he is deluded away from the truth. He said the words of disbelief. Allah will punish him in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. By standing against Allah the Creator, Pat Robertson made the biggest mistake of his life. The moron took Allah as his adversary forgetting that Allah is terrible in retribution. He mocks at Muslims and their religion, but it is Allah who scoffs at him. Let him laugh a little; On the Day of Judgment he will weep a lot, in return for what he has said against Allah, his Creator, and Muhammad the seal of the Prophets. Surely, a painful torment awaits him. Pat Robertson does not learn from history. When a man flouts the truth, but does not immediately receive the punishment for this, it makes him arrogant. The fact of his going scot-free is only due to the latitude given to him during the period of trial, and not because of real freedom. If the individual is keen to learn a lesson, he must consider the fate of his predecessors from which he may learn how to conduct his present life. On the face of this earth, different nations and different cultures have been raised from time to time and have subsequently been destroyed. When earlier generations were punished for their disobedience, why should later generations not meet the same fate? We read in the Koran: But thy Lord is the All- Forgiving, Full of Mercy. If He should take them to task for that they have earned, He would hasten for them the chastisement; but they have an appointed time from which they will have no escape. And those cities, We destroyed them when they did evil, and appointed for their destruction a tryst (Al-kahf 58, 59). Pat Robertson descended to the lowest of the low when he uttered such blasphemous words. In the life of the Hereafter, there is the sternest punishment for him. The troubles of this world, however great, are necessarily limited in their severity by the very fact of being bound to end eventually with death. But the Hereafter is a place from which man, beset by unspeakable afflictions, will find it impossible to run away, for there, he will not even have death ahead of him to put an end to his torment. The Koran states: Whosoever comes unto his Lord a sinner, for him awaits Gehenna (Hell) wherein he shall neither die nor live (Taha, 74). Pat Robertson is now 83 years old. He is nearer to death than life. He is virtually on the verge of coming face to face with his Day of Reckoning, yet he keeps on humiliating Allah his Creator, and Muhammad the seal of the Prophets. He ignores the advice of the preacher of truth and dismisses it as something uttered by a false man. The Koran says: Draws near for mankind their reckoning while they turn away in heedlessness (Al-Anbiya’, 1). Woe to Pat Robertson for what he insolently ascribed to Allah. Glory be to Allah, the Lord of the Throne above that he describes. Messengers who were sent before Muhammad were also scoffed at, but the scoffers were mocked by the things that they mocked. The scoffers of Jesus – where were they when Titus destroyed Jerusalem? The mockers who drove out Muhammad from Makkah – what was their plight when Muhammad came back after eleven years in triumph and they pleaded for mercy – and he gave it to them! The Koran says: Messengers indeed were mocked at before thee, but those that scoffed at them were encompassed by that they mocked at (Al-Anbiya’, 41). If only Pat Robertson knew that there shall come a time when he shall not be able to avert the blazing fire from his face nor from his back. The Koran says: If the disbelievers only knew the time will arrive when they will not be able to ward off the fire from their faces or their backs, and they will get no help. It will come upon them suddenly and stupefy them; they will be powerless to push it away; they will not be helped (Al-Anbiya’ 39, 40). Now let us go through the lies of Pat Robertson and refute them one by one. Is the Koran a theft from the Bible? Pat Robertson claims that the Koran is a theft from the Bible and that it is a Christian heresy. If the Koran were a theft of the Bible, it would have conformed with the corruption the Christians added to the Gospel of Jesus, but the Koran rejected all the false doctrines of the Christians and presented the truth that must be followed. The Koran is the literal Word of Allah to Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The Koran is the last divine Book sent to the world entire. Islam is a universal religion, it is not sent only to the Arabs but also to the Jews, the Christians, the Buddhists and the whole world. The Koran came to correct the corrupted books of the Jews and the Christians, and to serve as a reference to those who want to correct their adulterated books and corrupted religions. The Koran came to warn the Christians of a Mighty Day if they do not restore the monotheistic religion of Jesus – Allah is one and must be worshipped alone without associating with Him any partners (i.e., Jesus, Pope, priest, mediators, idol, tree, nature, animal, etc.). The Koran came to establish the oneness of Allah on earth after it has been blotted out by the ugly polytheism of the Christians. The Koran restored the concept of Allah’s oneness: “There is absolutely no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah”. The Koran is well-founded, constant and resolute and there is no declension, obliquity or crookedness in it. The Koran was sent to guide into all truth; it warns the ungodly and the impious of severe torment and announces joyful tidings to the believers who work good deeds to expect distinguished reward wherein they shall remain forever. The warning is not only addressed to those who deny Allah or deny His Message, but also to those whose false ideas of Allah degrade religion in supposing that Allah begot a son, for Allah is One and is high above any ideas of physical reproduction. The attribution of a begotten son to Allah has no basis in fact or in reason. It is only a saying that issues out of their mouths. It is not even a dogma that is reasoned out or can be explained in any way that is consistent with the sublime attributed of Allah. We read in the Koran: Praise be to Allah who has sent down upon His servant the Book (the Koran) and has not assigned unto it any crookedness; right, to warn a great violence from Him, and to give good tidings unto the believers, who do righteousness deeds, that theirs shall be a goodly wage therein to abide forever, and to warn those who say Allah has taken to Himself a son; they have no knowledge of it, they nor their fathers; a monstrous word it is, issuing out of their mouths; they say nothing but a lie (Al-Kahf 1-5). The Koran came to emphasize the fact that religion with Allah is only Islam. It is the religion given to Muhammad and all prophets before him, beginning with Adam until Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus. The Koran came to reject all the false dogmas the Christians invented in their religion: original sin, crucifixion of Jesus, vicarious atonement, the Trinity, and worshiping the Lord through Jesus or mediators. The sincerity of the Koran becomes a threat to the status of hypocrites like Pat Robertson; therefore they turn hostile to it. Muhammad fulfilled the criteria for a true Prophet. These are:

1. He should bring signs or proofs that are far beyond human capacity.
2. His message should be shown to emanate from without himself. 3. He should carry his mission to the end in spite of all obstacles. 4. His message would be supported by Allah to be established on earth.

Applying these criteria to Prophet Muhammad, we find that the main proof he presented is a living miracle, the eternal Word of God – the Koran. The Arabic text of the Koran challenges all generations to produce anything as perfect or splendorous. Even the Prophet’s own sayings (Hadith) are very different from the language of the Koran. Also, the natural phenomena the Koran mentioned, as well as the wisdom of its creation, are far beyond the human knowledge and culture at the time of revelation and for several centuries to follow. The message and text of the Koran did not emanate from within, but from outside Prophet Muhammad. This can be proved by the way the Creator addressed him in the miraculous Book. The Quran repeatedly reminded and drew the attention of the Prophet Muhammad to his obligations towards Allah and the revelation, the believers, and the unbelievers. As for his obligations towards Allah, Muhammad had to proclaim the Message, which had been sent to him, trusting Allah for protection and unconcerned if people who had lost all sense of right rejected it or threatened it. The Koran says: O Messenger, deliver that which has been sent down to thee from thy Lord; for if you do not do so, you will not have delivered His Message. Allah will protect you from men. Allah guides not the people of the unbelievers (Al-Maidah, 67). Concerning Muhammad’s obligation toward the revelations, he used to make haste to receive them. Here, he has been asked not to do this. However, he was told that the process of revelation was in accordance to a divine, pre-ordained plan. It would continue as the occasion warranted, and it would reach its completion in due course. The Koran says: Move not your tongue with it to hasten it; Ours is to gather it, and recite it. So, when We recite it, follow you its recitation. Then Ours is to explain it (Al-Quiamah, 16). Muhammad was also repeatedly exhorted and warned against yielding to the temptations and pressures that were surrounding him. It happens with men of Allah and it happened with the Holy Prophet that they are tempted by the world with many things such as making small concessions in order to attract people to Allah’s religion. Such concessions however, may neutralize the whole teaching sent by Allah. If the Prophet had accepted the idolaters’ offers of wealth and position and respecting their idols, they would have taken him into their inner circle. But the Prophet of Allah was made of sterner stuff. He was given by Allah’s power special strength to resist all plausible temptation. From the purely human point of view, it may seem policy to make concession in order to fulfill a divine mission. But the divine Messenger was given special strength to resist such temptations. If the Prophet had positively responded to the desires of the idolaters, the Lord would have punished him severely for being not literally conveying the Message. As the responsibility of conveying the Message is great, the punishment would have been great too. It would have been doubled in this life and the Hereafter. The Koran says: Indeed they were near to seducing you from that We revealed to you, that you mightiest forge against Us another, and then they would surely have taken you as a friend; and had We not confirmed you, surely you were near to incline unto them a very little; then would We have let you taste the double of life and the double of death; and then you would have found none to help you against Us (Al-Isra’ 73-75). Muhammad had an important duty towards the believers. The man of Allah should not look after the temptations of life because they will not last. The man of Allah looks with wistful eyes at other things – the favor and countenance of Allah for they are better and more enduring. The Prophet of Allah, in his human love and sympathy, may grieve over certain classes of people who are puffed up with false notions to the Message of Allah. But he should not make himself unhappy. There is no flaw in Allah’s plan, and it must prevail. This was addressed to the Prophet, but it applies to all righteous men. The Makkan pagans and the idolaters in the early days of Islam in order to ridicule and humiliate the Koran, divided what was so far revealed, into bits and apportioned them to people coming on pilgrimage to Makkah by different routes, slandering and abusing the Prophet of Allah. Those who ridicule Scripture in any form will be called to account for their insolence. If the whole world is ranged against the Prophet of Allah, as was at one time the case with Muhammad, and scoffs all at that is sacred, the sense of Allah’s presence and protection outweighs all. And after all, the scoffers are creatures of a day. Soon will they find their level, and be undeceived as to all their falsehoods. But the Truth of Allah endures forever. The Koran says: Stretch not your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower your wing unto the believers, and say, ‘Surely, I am the manifest warner.’ So We sent it down for those who are divisive, who have broken the Koran into fragments. Now by your Lord, We shall surely question them all together concerning that they were doing. Proclaim openly what you are commanded, and turn you away from the idolaters. We sufficed you against the mockers, even against those who set up with Allah another god. Certainly they will soon know! We know indeed your breast is straightened by the things they say. Proclaim your Lord’s praise, and be of those that bow. And serve your Lord, until the certain (death) comes to you (Al-Hijr, 88-99). In addition, the Koran included admonitions that were directed to the noble Prophet himself in some situations. To give just one example: the Prophet Muhammad was once preaching to the chiefs of the Quraish in Makkah, when a blind man arrived at the gathering and said, ‘O, Prophet of Allah! Please teach me something of what Allah has taught you.’ The sudden arrival of the blind person obstructed the conversation of the Prophet with the dignitaries of Quraish. The Prophet frowned and was displeased by such unexpected intrusion. The Koran says: He frowned and turned away that the blind man came to him, for how can you know that he might seek to purify himself, or yet remember, and the teaching may profit him. As for him who was self-sufficient, you eagerly attended to him – though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself – but as one who comes to you eagerly and in awe of Allah you pay him no heed. No indeed, this (Koran) is an admonition, and whoso wills, shall remember it. It is set down on honored pages, exalted and purified, by the hands of scribes noble, pious (Abasa, 1-16). Sometimes the Koran revealed matters that Muhammad would have preferred to keep secret in the depths of his pure soul. Zaid, son of Harithah, is one of the first who accepted Islam. He was freedman of the Prophet, who loved him and adopted him as his own son, and gave him in marriage to his own cousin Zainab. The marriage however turned out unhappy. Zainab the high-born looked down upon Zaid the freedman who had been a slave, and he was not comely to look at. Zaid wished to divorce her, but the Prophet asked him to hold his hand and Zaid obeyed. When the marriage is unhappy, Islam permits the bond to be resolved, provided that all interests concerned are safeguarded. Allah wanted to set an example that there should be no restriction on believers marrying the spouses of their adopted sons when they have divorced them. After the divorce took place, Allah ordained that the Prophet marry Zainab, and she married the Prophet in the year 5 A.H. The Koran reports this incidence: You said to the man who had been favored by Allah and you, ‘Keep your wife to yourself and have fear of Allah.’ You sought to hide in your heart what Allah wished to reveal. You were afraid of people, whereas it would have been more proper to fear Allah. When Zaid divorced his wife, We gave her to you in marriage, so that there should not be any fault in the believers, touching the wives of their adopted sons, when they have divorced them; and Allah’s commandments must be performed (Al-Ahzab, 37). Zainab used to boast before the wives of the Prophet and used to say, “You were given in marriage by your families, while I was married (to the Prophet) by Allah from over seven Heavens.” It is difficult for a sound mind to imagine that the noble Prophet Muhammad would address himself with the aim of guidance, exhortation, warning, and admonishment, or would reveal things about himself that he would not like other people to know about. Also, it is difficult to believe that the Prophet Muhammad would, after doing that, convey to the people the Koran, which would never be abrogated, deleted, or forgotten. The Prophet even used his own discretion in interpreting some verses, until revelation was sent down contradicting his opinion. The Holy Prophet was by nature full of mercy and forgiveness. He prayed for his enemies. But Allah has instructed him that his prayers are nullified by their attitude of rejecting Allah and His Koran. Ask pardon for them, or ask no pardon for them; if you ask pardon for them seventy times, Allah will not pardon them; that, because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger; Allah guides not the people of the ungodly (At-Tawbah, 80). On the death of a Muslim, it is the pious duty of every neighboring Muslim to assist in the simple funeral ceremonies – the prayer for mercy before the body is consigned to the grave, and the consignment of the body to the grave, by a simple, solemn, and dignified ritual. For those who have shown hostility to Islam, this would not be seemly and is  forbidden. Nor do you ever pray over any one of them when he is dead, nor stand over his gave; they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and died when they were ungodly (At-Tawbah, 84). When Pat Robertson sees similarity between the Bible and the Koran, it is because after the corruption of the old Books, which all talked about Islam (pure monotheism), Allah revived His religion through the Koran – the unchangeable Book that stood the test of time. The Prophet of Islam renewed the call of all the Prophets and Messengers who came before him. All of them in succession conveyed the religion of Islam. But after the corruption of the old divine Books Allah out of His mercy completed His religion by revealing the Koran to the last of the Prophets Muhammad peace be upon him.  Allah says in the Koran: “Say you: ‘We believe in Allah, and in that which has been sent down on us and sent down on Abraham, Ishmael, Isaak and Jacob, and the Tribes, and that which was given to Moses and Jesus and the prophets, of their Lord; we make no division between any of them, and to Him we surrender.” (Al-Baqarah, 136). The Book Pat Robertson claims that it is a theft from the Bible came as a severe warning to Pat Robertson and his like in order to show them what the original religion of Allah was, and how they deviated from the truth by corrupting it. The Koran came to show the true path of salvation that must be followed to attain the mighty success in the Hereafter- Paradise. This path is characterized by two things: worshipping Allah alone without associating with Him any partners (strict monotheism), and do good deeds by adhering to the teachings of the divine Books. If people do not follow these two principles, they are doomed to Hell-Fire. The Koran is the final revelation and abrogates all former Books, it now replaces all former revelations, which were lost or corrupted. We can say with entire certainty that the oldest book we have today with no change or modification is the Koran. Allah guarded it from corruption until the Day of Judgment. This is confirmed by the noble verse: ‘’We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption) (Al-Hijr, 9). The call of the Koran is the call of the true version of Islam, the religion of submission to Allah, as was revealed to all the other prophets. Those who deny this fact, do so not because the truth is not clear to them, but because of their own sense of superiority. Acknowledging the Koran’s truthfulness amounts as they see it, to accepting the intellectual superiority of the Koran. Their jealousy and arrogance do not allow of such acknowledgement. They deny the Koran because they think that their self-styled concepts have safeguarded them from Hell-Fire. But this is not possible in the world of Allah. All their plans against Allah’s religion will fail, and when Allah’s scales of justice are put in place, they will see that those actions, which had given them the conviction of securing success and salvation, are quite without value. Such dissenters will enter the next world divested of all support. We read in the Koran: And say to those who have been given the Book (Jews and Christians) and to the common folk (Arab pagans): ‘Have you surrendered?’ (in Islam). If they have surrendered, they are right guided; but if they turn their backs, thine is only to deliver the Message and Allah’s sees His servants (Al-Imran, 19). Those who deny the Koran, their wealth and children will not help them against Allah. All the material considerations that appear important today will cease to matter on the Day of Judgment. All worldly things will become insignificant as if they had never existed. The deniers of the Koran appear to be influential in this world, but are in fact, totally powerless, because their strength is nothing but a temporary delusion. The Koran says: Say to those who deny the truth, ‘You shall be overcome and driven into Hell – an evil resting place (Al-Imran, 12). Religion as a system of faith and worship, commended by Allah is only Islam. But the Jews and the Christians fell in dispute and set themselves at variance through mutual envy and ill-will after knowledge has come to them. Allah says in the Koran: The only religion in Allah’s sight is Islam (submission to His will). Yet not until they have received divine discourse did people of the Book (Jews and Christians) disagreed only out of rivalry, after knowledge had been given to them – he who denies Allah’s signs should know that Allah is swift in His reckoning (Al-Imran, 19). On the Day of Judgment when the divine scales are put in place, they will realize how deluded they were in their wishful thinking. Allah says in the Koran: Hast thou not regarded those who were given a portion of the Book (Jews and Christians) being called to the Book (the Koran) of Allah, that it might decide between them, and then a party of them turned away, swerving aside? That because they said, ‘The Fire shall not touch us, except for a number of days’; and the lies they forged have deluded them in their religion. But how will it be when We gather them for a Day whereon is no doubt, and every soul shall be paid in full what it has earned, and they shall not be wronged (Al-Imran 23-25). If the Koran were a theft from the Bible, it wouldn’t have clearly contradicted all the fabricated dogmas the ancient Christians added to the religion of Jesus viz., original sin, crucifixion, vicarious atonement, the Trinity, etc. In Islam, no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. This is against the doctrine of vicarious atonement. Every man is responsible for his own sins. Jesus Christ will not atone for the sins of anybody. Pat Robertson is not a sincere devotee. He does not accept religion based on total surrender to Allah’s will. He is not serious in matters of true religion, and as a result believes that the performance of certain rituals or the observance of certain forms is enough to earn salvation in the Hereafter. Due to his insincerity about the Hereafter, he fails to understand that Doomsday is the Day of the manifestation of Allah’s power and majesty. Hoping that the manifestation of certain superficial rituals might earn him Allah’s pleasure is indeed an underestimation of Allah’s divinity. This only increases his sinfulness in Allah’s eyes. The Koran brought the truth, and one who is not sincere rejects it. This is one of Satan’s’ temptations. Guidance comes only to those scrupulously resist Satan’s temptations, and read the Koran with open heart and mind without prejudice or bias. Allah has revealed the Koran in truth. The Koran is a Message supreme, whoever follows it, will benefit his own soul, and whoever goes astray, injures his own soul. Part Robertson disputes by means of vanities to condemn the truth and forgets that Allah knows the treachery of the eyes and what the breasts conceal. He thinks that he will be left without punishment. But everything is recorded, and he will be questioned. On the Day of Judgment the curse shall be his lot and he will have the most evil abode – painful torment in Hell. Do Muslims not understand what reasonable dialogue is? In the West, they burn the Koran, they belie it, they urinate on it, and they slander the Prophet and humiliate him. In addition to that, we hear the filth Pat Robertson and his like vomit every day from their dirty mouths against Islam. After all this insolence, Pat Robertson expects Muslims to either answer back with reasonable dialogue or shut up! I am really amazed to see such unreasonable provocation and impudence coming from a man who is supposed to be a man of God! What reasonable dialogue he is talking about? Is it that we, Muslims, convince the deniers of the truth that the Koran is a true Book, and that Prophet Muhammad is not a false Prophet? Is it to make them believe that God means Allah in Arabic, and that He is not a moon god, a monkey god, an idol god or a demon god as they claim! But Allah has sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes, there is a covering so they will never accept the truth. Explaining Islam to them is worthless, and the answer they should get is to emphasize the terrible consequences awaiting them. Soon they will know when the fetters are on their necks and then dragged in chains, plunged into boiling water, and then into the Fire they are poured. That is the reward of Allah’s enemies for their impudence and rejection of Allah’s revelation. Does Pat Robertson think he will be left alone without punishment? Is Pat Robertson so ignorant as not to know that he who sets himself against Allah and His prophet Muhammad shall suffer the fire of Hell? The Koran says: Do they not know that whosoever oppose Allah and His Messenger – for him awaits the fire of Gehenna (Hell), therein to dwell forever? That is the mighty degradation (At-Tawbah, 63). In another verse we read: Those who hurt Allah and His Messenger – them Allah has cursed in the present world and the world to come, and has prepared for them a humbling chastisement (Al-Ahzab, 57). The accursed Pat Robertson took Satan as a comrade and Satan led him astray into far error. Pat Robertson crossed all bounds and his arrogance took him to believe that he is free to insult his Creator without punishment. The ignorant does not know that Allah watches him and records each word he utters. The Koran says:  But whoso disobeys Allah, and His Messenger, and transgresses His bounds, him He will admit to a Fire, therein dwelling forever, and for him there awaits a humbling chastisement An-Nisa’, 14). The man denied Allah’s revelations when claimed that the Koran is a theft from the Bible. The consequence of such insolent accusation is that Allah will put him to torture. Allah will expose him to the dreadful conflagration, as often as his skin is consumed, Allah will replace him with new skin so that he taste the merciless punishment.  Surely those who disbelieve in Our signs — We shall certainly roast them at a Fire; as often as their skins are wholly burned, We shall give them in exchange other skins, that they may taste the chastisement. Surely, Allah is All-mighty, All-wise (An-Nisa’, 56). By attacking Islam and the Prophet of Islam in this insolent way, Pat Robertson has extremely offended all Muslims of the world. This reminds me with the koranic verse: And those who hurt believing men and believing women, without they have earned it, have laid upon themselves calumny and manifest sin (Al-Ahzab, 58). Pat Robertson should have known that Allah knows the thoughts in the breasts. He knows all that in the heavens and of all that is on earth. He knows all that is being said, all what the breasts store of thoughts and all that they forge. The Koran says: He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and He knows what you conceal and what you publish. Allah knows the thoughts within the breasts (Al-Taghabun, 4). Pat Robertson thinks that the foul epithets he utters from his big mouth are just words that will disappear in the air. He must understand that every word he utters since he was in the cradle and until his death is recorded. As the Koran teaches, Allah appoints two angels to serve as honorable scribes for each person on earth during his or her lifetime. The Koran says: Surely, there are guardians watching over you, noble recorders, who know all that you do (Al-Infitar, 10-12). The noble scribes are careful not to miss any details of what people do. They accompany the people to whom they are assigned, one sitting on the right side and the other on the left. The angel sitting on the right side writes down the good deeds, and the angel sitting on the left side writes down the bad deeds. The Koran says: We created man – We know the promptings of his soul, and are closer to him than his jugular vein – and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian (Qaf, 17, 18). When Judgment Day arrives at the end of the world, the angels who have served as noble scribes will present to Allah all of the records they have written. Allah will then decide the eternal destiny of each person according to what is written in his book of deeds. The fate of every man hangs upon his own deeds and not at all upon the false doctrine of vicarious atonement. Whatever a man thinks or done is being recorded throughout his existence. On the Day of Judgment, man will find his life history written in the shape of a diary, which contains all matters, both great and small. Because Allah is just, He will allow People to read their books of deeds so they can understand why He will send them to either Heaven or Hell. The Koran says: and every man — We have fastened to him his bird of omen upon his neck; and We shall bring forth for him, on the Day of Resurrection, a book he shall find spread wide open (Al-Isra’, 13). Pat Robertson, do you laugh at our religion and do not weep? You adopt a way of tyranny instead of justice, a way of arrogance instead of modesty. Allah has revealed the Koran to the whole world as a sign from Him, but you rejected it and considered it a fabrication and a theft from the Bible. Your arrogant attitude makes you liable for punishment. Though the beginning of this punishment starts in this world, the punishment of this world is far more lenient than the punishment that you are going to face after death. The beating of the angels, humiliation before all the creatures on the Day of judgment, burning in the fire of Hell for eternity – all these stages are so terrible that one cannot even imagine them in the present conditions. The Koran says: If you could only see when the angels (of death) take the souls of the unbelievers, beating their faces and their backs: ’Taste the chastisement of the burning. This is the punishment for what your hands have forwarded, and for that Allah is never unjust unto His servants.’(Al-Anfal 50, 51).). Pat Robertson, evil is the thing you have sold yourself for, disbelieving in the Koran, grudging that Allah should send down of His bounty on Muhammad another divine Book that He may uplift it above every religion though you and the unbelievers like you be averse. You are not in a position to frustrate Allah, nor escape His retributive punishment, and besides Him, you have no protectors to defend you against Him. A disbeliever in Allah like you is destined to the abode of Hell and how evil indeed is the destination. Allah says in His Holy Book the Koran: Think not the unbelievers are able to frustrate Allah in the earth; their refuge is the Fire – an evil homecoming (An-Nur, 57). Pat Robertson committed a grave sin by spreading falsehood about Islam Pat Robertson forgets that people will be gathered, together with the devils around the Hell-Fire, and they will go down on their knees, showing their total surrender and submission.  They will all see the Hell-Fire close and feel its heat.  Then the greatest transgressors against Allah will be pulled out and thrown into the Fire, as they are those who deserve it most. Pat Robertson misguided his people by promulgating lies about Islam.  He is misguided himself and has misguided others; and by this, he will carry his own sin and the sin of those who follow him. The misguided followers have also sinned because they followed him without thinking. Allah’s Messenger-prayer and peace be upon him – said: “Whoever makes a good example or precedent in my nation, he will have as much reward as those who follow him, without decreasing any of their rewards, and whoever makes a bad example or precedent in my nation, He will carry as much sin as those who follow him, without decreasing any of their sins”. The Koran says: But how will it be, when We gather them for a day whereon is no doubt, and every soul shall be paid in full what it has earned, and they shall not be wronged (Al-Imran, 25). The Koran also says: That they may bear their loads complete on the Day of Resurrection, and some of the loads of those that they lead astray without any knowledge. O evil the load they bear (An-Nahl, 25). The most important events that will happen on the Day of Judgment are when we will be held accountable for our deeds and when we will be questioned by our Lord, Allah. Allah says in the Koran: “Draws near for mankind their reckoning, while they turn away in heedlessness.” ( Al-‘Anbia’, 1). Allah also says: “Verily, to Us will be their return: -Then verily, for Us will be their Reckoning.” ( Al-Ghashiah 25. 26) Allah describes that Day in the Koran: “On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and his evil.” (Al-Imran, 30). On the Day of Judgment, anyone who is questioned in depth will surely be tortured. The good believer will have an easy reckoning and Allah will cover up his sins after He reminds him about them. Then he will forgive him from his sins, and allow him to enter paradise. The Prophet said: “Allah will bring the believer very close and privately ask him “Do you know this sin? Do you know that sin? The believers reply will be, “Yes Oh Lord,” until he is reminded about all of his sins, and he thinks he will perish. Then Allah will say “I covered up your sins during your life, and I will forgive your sins today. Then he will be given his book of good deeds. But the unbelievers and hypocrites will be asked about their deeds loudly in front of the creatures, “These are the ones who lied against their Lord. No doubt, The curse of Allah is on the wrongdoers ”  ( Huud, 18). Pat Robertson is a hypocrite, because one of the signs of the hypocrite is lying. Pat Robertson lied when he spread lies about Islam, and lying is one of the signs of the hypocrite. The Prophet said: “The signs of the hypocrite are three: when he speaks he lies, when he promises he breaks his promise and when he is entrusted he betrays the trust.” (Bukhari and Muslim). The hypocrites must expect a condign punishment. Give thou good tidings to the hypocrites that for them await a painful chastisement (Al-Nisa’, 138). Indeed, the hypocrites are destined to the abode in the deep bottomless abyss of Hell, and never shall they find anyone who can afford them help. Surely the hypocrites will be in the lowest reach of the Fire; thou wilt not find for them any helper (Al-Nisa’, 145). Do we Muslims worship a god called Hubal? Pat Robertson claimed that we Muslims worship an idol in Makkah called Hubal – a moon god – another lie coming from an impudentl liar. The truth is that Hubal was a god worshipped in pre-Islamic Arabia, notably at the Ka’ba in Mecca. His idol was a human figure, believed to control acts of divination, which was in the form of tossing arrows before the statue. The direction in which the arrows pointed answered questions asked of the idol. Access to the idol was controlled by the Quraysh tribe. The Makkan idolaters fought against Prophet Muhammad during the Battle of Badr in 624 CE. After Muhammad entered Mecca in 630 CE, he removed the statue of Hubal from the Ka’ba along with 360 idols worshipped by the pagan Arabs. It is obvious that Allah is the same as the God of Noah, Abraham,  Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Tribes, Moses and Jesus. The Koran makes this quite clear: “Say ye: ‘We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord; We make no difference between one and another of them; and we bow to Allah (in Islam)’.” (Al-Baqarah, 136). The God we Muslims worship is merciful, gracious, and all forgiving. He is the absolute Singular, he has no partners, He has no son, He forgives whom he pleases and punishes whom he pleases, He is high above all else – remote from man, although he is nearer to him than his jugular vein. Allah Most High is alone to be adored. He has neither associate nor equal. He is free from the imperfections of humanity. He is neither begotten nor does He beget. He is invisible. He is without figure, color or parts. His existence has neither beginning nor end. He is immutable. If He so wills, He can annihilate the world in a moment of time and, if it seems good to Him, recreate it in an instant. Nothing is difficult for Him, whether it be the creation of a fly or that of the seven heavens. He receives neither profit nor loss from whatever may happen. If all the Infidels became believers and all the irreligious pious, He would gain no advantage. If all Believers became infidels, He would suffer no loss. He can do what he wills, and whatever He wills comes to pass. Everything, good or evil, in this world exists by His will. He wants His servants to believe in Him. He desires to see piety in His servants. All we do we do by His will. Pat Robertson is a man of the earth The statements of Pat Robertson against Islam show clearly that he does not fear the Hereafter. He is completely heedless of the punishment awaiting the sinners on the Day of Judgment. He inclines towards the earth, and is well pleased with it. He is proud of his wealth and possessions, and does not know that wealth that made him so arrogant and insolent, while one of the greatest blessings that mankind has been given, is at the same time one of the greatest trials and temptations. Allah states: Your wealth and your children are only a trial, and Allah with Him is a great reward (Paradise) (Al-Taghabun, 15). Allah also states: And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial and that surely with Allah is a mighty reward (Al-Anfal, 28). Allah threatens such people: And let not those who disbelieve ever think that (because) We extend their time (of enjoyment) it is better for them. We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin, and for them is a humiliating punishment (Al-Imran, 178). By these verses, we come to understand that an unrighteous life of wealth and worldly enjoyments is not a blessing, but rather a curse. The Prophet of Islam said: “Three things destroy, and three things save. As for the three things that destroy, they are greediness that is obeyed, and desires that are followed, and a person that is becoming self-conceited with himself. As for the three things that save, they are the fear of Allah in secret and public, and moderation in poverty and richness, and fairness in anger and pleasure”. Extreme love for this world cannot exist in a heart devoted to Allah. The Prophet said: “The Day of Judgment has come close, and mankind will only increase their desire for this world, and they will only go farther away from Allah.” There is a direct relationship between the love of this world and loss of devotion to Allah. One’s love for money will harm him in this world, and also in the Hereafter. On the Day of Judgment, every single person will be questioned about the money that he or she has earned. In fact, this questioning will take place as soon as one is resurrected from the grave. The Prophet stated: “The two feet of the son of Adam will not move on the Day of Judgment in front of his Lord until he is asked about five things: about his life, and how he spent it? And about his youth, what did he consume it in? And about his money, how did he earn it, and what did he spend it on? And how much did he act upon what he knew?” The Prophet’s hadith shows that money leads a person to injustice and sin. The more one is involved with increasing his wealth, the greater the chance that he or she will fall into sin while trying to accrue such wealth. Only the person who truly has the fear of Allah will be able to save himself from such temptation. As for the poor, they will not have great amounts of money, which they will have to account for. For this reason, they will enter Paradise long before the rich; while the rich are standing in front of Allah, answering for every penny that they earned and spent, the poor will have finished their examination and moved on to their assigned fate. The Prophet said: “The poor will enter Paradise before the rich by half a day, and that is five hundred years.” A day in the sight of Allah is like a thousand years, thus half a day is equivalent to five hundred years. So the rich will have to wait all this long period of time, while the pious poor are enjoying the blessings of Paradise. It is for all of these reasons that the prophet used to pray: “O Allah! I seek your refuge from the evils of the trial (fitnah) of wealth, and the evils of the trial (fitnah) of poverty.” Both poverty and wealth are fitnahs (trials) — ways by which Allah tries and tests us. A person cannot remain upon two divergent paths, or retain a tight grip on two items moving in opposite directions. Given that the path to fulfilment of illicit worldly desires and the path to the pleasure of Allah travel in different directions, excessive love of wealth risks compromising obedience to Allah, and the blessings to be gained from seeking His pleasure. The Prophet said: “The plentiful (i.e., the rich) will be the lowest on the Day of Judgment, except he who distributed his money left and right (I.e., at all times), while he earned from pure means.” Well, Pat Robertson, Have you earned your money from pure means? Wealth and riches made Pat Robertson arrogant to the extent of rebelling against Allah by humiliating His Koran and slandering His prophet. Countless verses in the Koran censure those who hoard wealth in denial of Allah’s rights and Omnipotence. Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. Who has gathered wealth and counted it. He presumes that his money will make him immortal Al-Humazah 1-3). Pat Robertson, your outrageous behavior only works against yourself. Take your little enjoyment in this present life; but in the end, you will return to Allah and He shall confront you with everything you have done. Pat Robertson thinks that his wealth will protect him from Allah’s wrath. He must not think that the worldly blessings Allah has showered him with and the respite Allah grants him is for his own good? Allah simply gives him plenty of rope to allow him free action in order that he sinks deeper into sin and be attracted more to its glitter. The Koran reads: And let not the unbelievers suppose that the indulgence We grant them is better for them; We grant them indulgence only that they may increase in sin; and there awaits them a humbling chastisement (Al-Imran, 178). I see him clinging to life eagerly. He would wish to be given a life of a thousand years, though even such a long life would not save him from Allah’s punishment. The chastisement shall not be lightened for him; no respite shall be given him. Allah says in the Koran: And you shall find them the eagerest of men for life. And of the idolaters; Any of them would wish if he might be spared a thousand years, yet his being spared alive shall not remove him from the chastisement. Allah sees the things they do (Al-Bqarah, 96). Pat Robertson is proud of his wealth and possessions. The charms of the world attract him, but they are all quite ephermal. The Day of Judgment will soon destroy them in such a manner that it will appear as if they never existed. By Paterson’s death, the attraction of the world will not last. What is going to last is the good and pious deeds of man.  Wealth and children are an ornament of the life of the world. But the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord’s sight for reward, and better in respect of hope (Al-kahf, 46). Making money, accumulating riches and possessing properties, seem so estimable to Part Robertson, that he fails to realize that there is no wealth but in nearness to Allah. Wealth will be of no use to him in the next eternal life. It is only one who makes the permanent life of the Hereafter the focus of his attention who will realize the insignificance of these worldly riches, and that the excellent abode is with Allah. Beautified for mankind is love of the joys (that come) from women and offspring; and stored-up heaps of gold and silver, and horses branded (with their mark), and cattle and land. That is comfort of the life of the world; but the excellent abode is with Allah (Al-Imran, 14). Those who are bent on denying Allah and oppose His Message, and grow in their refusal to acknowledge the truth, their repentance will not be accepted. They are the ones who have gone astray. Those who deny Allah and death claims them vested with the ugly vesture of disbelief, shall have committed an unforgivable sin. The offer of as much gold as the earth can treasure shall not be accepted from any of them in expiation of his guilt. Such like persons must expect endless suffering and shall find no one to afford them help. Surely those who disbelieve, and die disbelieving, there shall not be accepted from any one of them the whole earth full of gold, if he would ransom himself thereby; for them awaits a painful chastisement, and they shall have no helpers (Al-Imran, 91). Woe unto Pat Robertson who deals with Allah and His Prophet in insolence. The Fire of wrath will envelop him and burns his heart and mind. The Fire of punishment will mount right up to his heart and mind and cover him over. And its scorching columns will extend over a far wider area than he imagine. The Koran says: Woe unto every backbiter, slanderer, who has gathered riches and counted them over thinking his riches have made him immortal! No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; and what shall teach thee what is the crusher? The Fire of Allah kindled roaring over the hearts covered down upon them, in columns outstretched (Al-Homazah 1-8). With your own free will, you bought error at the price of guidance, and chastisement at the price of pardon. Allah desires not to appoint for you a portion in the world to come, and there awaits you a mighty chastisement. How patiently you shall endure the Fire! You have rejected Allah the sole God of creation. I therefore warn you in perfect clarity of what will happen to you. Pat Robertson will meet his Lord with loads of heinous sins. He belied the Koran and considered it a theft from the Bible and a Christian heresy; he accused Muhammad the best of creation with robbery and wild fanatic, etc. He will stand before his Lord terrified while receiving his account. Pat Robertson often denigrates Muslims, but he does not know that the hostile words he utters reach Allah before reaching others. This unawareness is the real root of evils. Pat Robertson does not know that he lives in a world where the eyes of Allah do not lose sight of him even for a single moment. If he knew that, he would weigh every word before uttering it. Pat Robertson uses his dirty tongue to harm and oppress others. He remains unaware of the fact that on the Day of Judgment his limbs, being his no longer, shall turn against him and acts as Allah’s witness. We read in the Koran: On the day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet testify against them as to what they used to do (An-Nur, 24). This day We seal up their mouths, and their hands speak out to Us and their feet bear witness as to what they used to earn (Yasin, 65). Pat Robertson puts worldly interests first; his true allegiance is to his worldly interests; only on superficial level can he attach himself to the truth. He considers himself clever. He thinks he is safeguarding himself in this world, and qualifying to be considered among the pious. But this is no more than wishful thinking. Every test in life removes him further from the path of true religion and brings him closer to his own world-oriented religion. His hypocrisy is like cancer, which keeps on growing. He considers Muslims who acts in the interest of truth, to be ruining themselves for no good reason. He seeks to deceive Allah and the Muslims, but he only deceives himself. In his heart is a disease, which Allah has increased. He will have a painful chastisement because he lied to his people about the religion of Islam. Allah says in the Koran: As for the unbelievers, alike it is to them whether you have warned them, or have not warned them, they do not believe. Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a covering, and there awaits them a mighty chastisement (Al-Baqara, 6-10). It is in the plan of Allah to assign for every Prophet some enemies from those characterized by satanic attributes. They inspire each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. Pat Robertson is one of these evil ones. He deceives his followers by highly embellished words and plausible excuses and objections. Such deceit attracts the victims who allow themselves to be deluded to the extent that they accept such deceitful discourse with consenting mind. The Koran says: So We have appointed to every Prophet an enemy, evil humans and evil jinn. They suggest alluring words to one another in order to deceive – yet, had thy Lord willed, they would never have done it. So leave them to their forging, so that the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter may incline towards their deceit, be pleased with it, and so perpetrate whatever they perpetrate (Al-An’am, 112, 113). The chastisement shall not be lightened for them; no respite shall be given them (Al-Sharh, 4). Is Muhammad a wild eyed fanatic? Pat Robertson considers the Prophet of Islam, a wild-eyed fanatic! Due to such failure in apprehending the greatness of Muhammad, I find it an opportunity to teach this islamophobe hate monger the greatness of Muhammad’s morality. Allah said about prophet Muhammad in the Koran: Allah is his Protector, and Gabriel, and the righteous among the believers; and, after that, the angels are his supporters (Al-Tahrim, 4). “And you are upon a mighty morality (Al-qalam, 4). “Now there has come to you a Messenger from among yourselves; grievous to him is your suffering; anxious is he over you, gentle to the believers, compassionate (Al-Tawbah, 128). You have had a good example in the Messenger of Allah for whosoever hopes for Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often (Al-Ahzab, 21). Allah and His angels bless the Prophet. O believers, do you also bless him, and pray him peace (Al-Ahzab, 56). In a saying (Hadith) of the Prophet, he said: “I was educated by my Lord.” Yes, Allah educated him, granted him the good manners. Muhammad was an orphan.  His father died before he was born and his mother died when he was 7 years old.  There was nobody around from his family to teach him the good conduct and the facts of life. Almighty Allah isolated him from the surroundings and granted him the good character with wisdom.  Before becoming a Prophet, Muhammad was recognized as a trustworthy person by his people.  He was a highly honored person respected by all. He was known to be merciful.  He was known for his clean life.  He was famous for not worshipping any of the 360 idols that were kept in the Ka’ba.   His past was not tainted with idol worship or anything bad. The Prophet knew that he was the most honorable of mankind. He said: “I will be the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, and I do not brag about it!  It is the will of Allah. From the time of Prophet Adam, my lineage has been noble; there were no illegitimacy.  And, I do not brag about it.  There will be many things to be granted to me on the day of Resurrection, and I do not brag about it.” He had all the qualities to be proud of, yet he never bragged about them. Muhammad lived a humble life. He would wear very simple clothes made out of wool.  He would repair his shoes and clothes.  He would ride on a donkey while the royal people rode on horses or camels.  He would take somebody with him while he rode. He would milk the sheep.  He would sit down with his servant and eat his meal with him.  His words were revolutionary towards the slaves.  He would eat food with them and encourages all to free them. He would shake hands with rich and poor.  He would greet people first.  He would attend the invitations when invited.  He would say, “I would not refuse the invitation even if it is for a meal out of the trotters, i.e., feet of a camel.” Once he was served bread and vinegar.  He dipped the bread in vinegar and ate it.  He praised the vinegar: “Vinegar is a good sustenance.”  He never refused any type of food. He never had a loud laughter, yet he would smile. His generosity was unmatched.  No matter what he received from people or from the spoils, he would give away before the day ended.  If he received something in the evening, he would distribute it in that evening. When he was about to die, he felt that there were about three dirhams of money in the house.  He asked them to give it away.  He would say, “The prophets would not leave any material things as inheritance.”  He did not accumulate wealth or property.  He never approved piling up wealth. Once his servant brought him a meal that was from the previous day.  He asked the servant: “Why did you keep it? You could have given it to the less fortunate.  Almighty Allah would provide for each day.”  He deemed improper to store food. When he was sad, he would not sulk.  He would not talk much; he would contemplate. Once, a person saw the flock of sheep that the Prophet was tending.  It was a nice flock.  The person commented: “What a nice flock, O Prophet of Allah!”  The Prophet responded: “Do you like it?” “Very nice sheep; they are very nice, O Prophet of Allah!.” “Well then, let them be yours.” “Do you mean all of them, O Prophet of Allah?” “Yes, let all of them be yours!” With a great joy, the man took the flock and returned to his tribe.  His people asked:  “How did you acquire this flock?  You left this morning with nothing, and returned like this!” He replied:  “Muhammad gives things away with a giving that there is nothing comparable.  He gives things away like a person who has no worry about becoming poor.” He would never store things for the next day.  There would be days without a hot meal prepared in his house.  His companions said once:  “O Prophet of Allah!  We have been eating dates for food.  It makes us so thirsty.  We have nothing to eat but the dates and dates.” “I am like you. I have not had any meal but dates for the last two months.  I eat what you eat.” Out of hunger, somebody tied a rock on his abdomen.  The rock must have comforted his empty stomach.  He showed the rock to the Prophet.  The prophet lifted his shirt and showed the people around that he himself tied two rocks to quiet his stomach.  The Prophet did not live a life different from his companions. All of these deprivations were not because he never received anything or he could not be rich.  It was his choice.  Once the archangel Gabriel told him that Allah would grant him all kinds of material wealth if the Prophet desired.  The Prophet did not choose to be a rich person.  He would not accumulate anything because he did not have any worries about tomorrow.  He could have been a rich person if he wanted.  He chose to give away whatever he received. Once he was given a comfortable bed.  That night he missed the night prayer (tahajjud)  because he overslept.  In the morning, he asked that the bed to be removed because it was too comfortable to wake up for the prayer.  He did not prefer the comfort, the wealth; he preferred the humble way. He would look after the widows and protect the orphans.  He was merciful towards them.  He would not get angry or seek revenge for himself, yet he would get angry if an order of Allah is violated.  For instance, when Mecca was conquered, he was in a position to take revenge, yet he forgave them all.  Some commanders of army units had made some statements that they would take revenge from those who had inflicted major losses on Muslims.  The Prophet removed them from their positions to prevent such actions. He turned to the Meccans who were shivering out of the fear of their ends and asked: “What do you expect from me?”  He implied: “You have tried to prevent me from conveying the message of Allah for so many years.  You sent armies on me.  You had fights with me.  What shall I do to you?  What do you expect me to do to you?”  He forgave them all.  That was the conduct of the Prophet of Islam, to forgive his enemies while he was capable of destroying them. He was attacked in the city of Taif.  The people of Taif stoned him and chased him out of the town. His feet bled.  A man in an orchard house called the Prophet in.  He rested there for a while.  The archangel Gabriel arrived and said, “O Prophet of Allah, I could destroy this town if you wish.” The Prophet did not want any harm on people.  His companions would request: “O Prophet of Allah.  The pagans are giving us a hard time.  Could you bring Allah’s curse on them?”  He would refuse: “I am not a Prophet who curses people.  I have been sent as a Prophet of mercy.  Be patient. The nations that lived before had to deal with more severe troubles than you are subjected to.  You be patient.” He never wished anything bad for anybody. Zayd, the servant of Prophet Muhammad, said: “I served the Prophet for about twenty years.  He never abused me, nor did he question me for the things I did or failed to do.”  The Prophet was very gentle and soft to his servant. Zayd  was lost when he was a little boy and was separated from his family. He was taken by the slave traders, and sold to Khadija, the Prophet’s wife. Khadija donated Zaid to the prophet to serve him. After so many years, Zaid’s father found him and wanted to pay the ransom of freedom to the Prophet to take his son back.  The Prophet told the father: “I do not take money to let him go.  He is free to go if he wishes.”  The young slave chose to stay with the Prophet. The father of the young man insisted that the Prophet send the child to his tribe.  The Prophet said:  “I cannot tell him to leave if he chooses to stay with me.” The Prophet used to sleep on an old piece of rag.  His life was so simple and humble that his wives had a hard time to adapt with his modesty and simplicity. The wives had very small rooms resembling little cells to live in. These rooms had about one yard width and three yards length.  You could hardly fit a bed in them.  A person could fit well in there, but two persons would not. The great companion Omar once visited the Prophet.  He saw the marks of a straw mat on him.  There was a clay pot with water and a handful of barley next to him.  That was how the Prophet lived. Omar also lived in the same society, yet what he had seen must have been below the average life standard of that time.  Having seen that, Omar wept. The Prophet had established the Islamic State, and he was the president.  He would receive ambassadors from neighboring countries, yet he maintained his simple life style.  He had the means for a better living because the Muslim land was expanding and goods had been brought to him.  The Prophet lived like a slave.  He never hurt anybody.  He would not eat while learning that someone is poor and hungry. The hungry must eat first. He was heard saying, “If I had gold as much as the mountain Uhud, I would spend it all for Allah.” Prophet Muhammad would encourage his companions to spend for Allah.  Once he visited Fatima and Ali at their residence. Fatima is his daughter; and Ali is his cousin and Fatima’s husband. The Prophet saw a curtain and turned back.  It would worth four dirhams–an amount that can buy several bunches of grapes. Ali ran after the Prophet and asked: “O Prophet of Allah!  Why did you turn back?  Was it the curtain in the house?” The Prophet responded: “O Ali!  You could have sold it and given the money to the poor.” At another incident, Fatima and Ali showed their hands to the Prophet and said: “O Prophet of Allah!  Our hands are cracked from drawing the water from the well and using the hand-mill to make flour.  Could you give us a slave, so he does these works?” The prophet responded: “I will teach you something.  After each prayer, say 33 times ‘Subhanallah’ (glorious is Allah), 33 times  Alhamdulillah (praise to Allah), and 33 times ‘Allahu akbar’ (Allah is great).  Almighty Allah will grant you ease.  It will be better than keeping a slave.” Prophet Muhammad insisted on the respect for the parents.  He ordered Muslims to maintain prayers for them even after they die.  The Prophet said, “If a person’s mother or father is alive, and if a person fails to earn paradise by getting their blessings, it is a shame.”  The parents must be respected and served (1). To pat Robertson, these high manners are wild-eyed fanatic! The poor man, in his dotage, is unable to think clearly; grudge and hatred move him and not reason. The man does not look around and see what the western masters of knowledge, philosophy and science who reshaped the western society said about Islam and the Prophet of Islam. This shows clearly that Pat Robertson though living in the West; is completely ignorant of the cultural heritage of the western world. Because he is so ignorant of the western heritage, I find it obligatory to acquaint him with the identity of each of the western giants who praised Muhammad for his wonderful achievements. Pat Robertson, have you heard of Napoleon Bonaparte? The dotage and raving you promulgate about Islam makes me doubt that you even heard of him. Napoleon Bonaparte was a French military and political leader who rose to prominence during the latter stages of the French Revolution and its associated wars in Europe. As Napoleon I, he was Emperor of the French from 1804 to 1814. You know what this great Emperor said about Muhammad: “I hope the time is not far off when I shall be able to unite all the wise and educated men of all the countries and establish a uniform regime based on the principles of the Koran which alone are true and which alone can lead men to happiness.”  [Napoleon Bonaparte as Quoted in Christian Cherfils, ‘Bonaparte et Islam,’ Pedone Ed., Paris, France, 1914, pp. 105, 125]. Do you know who is Dr. Jules H. Masserman, I think not. Your scanty knowledge would not take you to this level. Professor Jules Masserman was a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst and former president of the American Psychiatric Association and former member of the Northwestern University medical school faculty. He said about the man whom you accused with robbery and brigandage: “People like Pasteur and Salk are leaders in the first sense. People like Gandhi and Confucius, on one hand, and Alexander, Caesar and Hitler on the other, are leaders in the second and perhaps the third sense. Jesus and Buddha belong in the third category alone. Perhaps the greatest leader of all times was Muhammad, who combined all three functions. To a lesser degree, Moses did the same.” Are you acquainted with De Lacy O’leary? I am positive you know nothing about him. The Reverend Doctor De Lacy Evans O’Leary was a British Orientalist who lectured at the University of Bristol and wrote a number of books on the early history of Arabs and Copts. It would be a disaster if you have not, for the man is the most famous in the world of literature. George Bernard Shaw was an Irish playwright and a co-founder of the London School of Economics. He was awarded Nobel Prize in Literature, Academy Award for writing adapted Screenplay, Academy Award for Screenplay. You know what this marvelous man said about the man you described with violence: “I have always held the religion of Muhammad in high estimation because of its wonderful vitality. It is the only religion, which appears to me to possess that assimilating capacity to the changing phase of existence, which can make itself appeal to every age. I have studied him – the wonderful man and in my opinion far from being an anti-Christ, he must be called the Savior of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness: I have prophesied about the faith of Muhammad that it would be acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be acceptable to the Europe of today.” –G.B. Arnold Joseph Toynbee was a British historian, philosopher of history, research professor of International History at the London School of Economics and the University of London and author of numerous books. Toynbee in the 1918–1950 periods was a leading specialist on international affairs. This is what he said about the man you defamed? “The extinction of race consciousness as between Muslims is one of the outstanding achievements of Islam, and in the contemporary world there is, as it happens, a crying need for the propagation of this Islamic virtue.” –A.J. Toynbee, CIVILIZATION ON TRIAL, New York, 1948, p. 205. Do you have any Idea about Edward Gibbon, the English historian and Member of Parliament? His most important work is The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. He said about Muhammad: ‘I believe in One God and Mohammed the Apostle of God,’ is the simple and invariable profession of Islam. And how about the excellent words of Reverend Bosworth Smith. He said about Allah’s envoy to the whole universe: “He was Caesar and Pope in one; but he was Pope without Pope’s pretensions, Caesar without the legions of Caesar: without a standing army, without a bodyguard, without a palace, without a fixed revenue; if ever any man had the right to say that he ruled by the right divine, it was Muhammad, for he had all the power without its instruments and without its supports.” –Bosworth Smith, MOHAMMAD AND MOHAMMADANISM, London, 1874, p. 92. Of course you know nothing about William Montgomery Watt. Watt was a priest of the Scottish Episcopal Church, and was Arabic specialist to the Anglican Bishop of Jerusalem from 1943-46. He became a member of the ecumenical Iona Community in Scotland in 1960. He was Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Edinburgh from 1964-79. He has been called “the Last Orientalist“. Watt was one of the foremost non-Muslim interpreters of Islam in the West, and an enormously influential scholar in the field of Islamic studies and a much-revered name for many Muslims all over the world. Watt’s comprehensive biography of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, Muhammad at Mecca (1953) and Muhammad at Medina (1956), are considered to be classics in the field. His words about Muhammad express his sincerity in extracting the facts from historical events. He said: “His readiness to undergo persecutions for his beliefs, the high moral character of the men who believed in him and looked up to him as leader, and the greatness of his ultimate achievement – all argue his fundamental integrity. To suppose Muhammad an impostor raises more problems than it solves. Moreover, none of the great figures of history is so poorly appreciated in the West as Muhammad.” W. Montgomery Watt, MOHAMMAD AT MECCA, Oxford, 1953, p. 52. Watt also said about Muhammad: “I am not a Muslim in the usual sense, though I hope I am a Muslim as one surrendered to God, but I believe that embedded in the Koran and other expressions of the Islamic vision are vast stores of divine truth from which I and other occidentals have still much to learn, and Islam is certainly a strong contender for the supplying of the basic framework of the one religion of the future.'” –W. Montgomery Watt, ISLAM AND CHRISTIANITY TODAY, London, 1983, p. ix. Now we move to the great French philosopher Alphonse Marie Louis de Prat de Lamartine. He was a writer, poet and politician, and was instrumental in the foundation of the Second Republic. This great man said about Muhammad: “The founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he? ” Lamartine, Historie de la Turquie, Paris 1854, Vol. 11 pp. 276-2727. John William Draper said about Muhammad: “Four years after the death of Justinian, A.D. 569, was born at Mecca, in Arabia the man who, of all men exercised the greatest influence upon the human race . . . Muhammad . . . ” John William Draper, M.D., L.L.D., A History of the Intellectual Development of Europe, London 1875, Vol.1, pp.329-330. “Everything made so much sense. This is the beauty of the Koran; it asks you to reflect and reason….When I read the Koran further, it talked about prayer, kindness and charity. I was not a Muslim yet, but I felt the only answer for me was the Qur’an and God had sent it to me.” Cat Stevens (YusufIslam), former British pop star. “I have read the Sacred Scriptures of every religion; nowhere have I found what I encountered in Islam: perfection. The Holy Koran, compared to any other scripture I have read, is like the Sun compared to that of a match. I firmly believe that anybody who reads the Word of Allah with a mind that is not completely closed to Truth, will become a Muslim.” Saifuddin Dirk Walter Mosig, U. S.A. “The universal brotherhood of Islam, regardless of race, politics, color or country, has been brought home to me most keenly many times in my life — and this is another feature which drew me towards the Faith.” Col. Donald S. Rockwell, U.S.A. Poet, Critic and Author. “Medieval Islam was technologically advanced and open to innovation. It achieved far higher literacy rates than in contemporary Europe; it assimilated the legacy of classical Greek civilization to such a degree that many classical books are now known to us only through Arabic copies. It invented windmills, trigonometry, lateen sails and made major advances in metallurgy, mechanical and chemical engineering and irrigation methods. In the middle ages, the flow of technology was overwhelmingly from Islam to Europe rather from Europe to Islam. Only after the 1500’s did the net direction of flow begin to reverse.” (p. 253) Jared Diamond a world renowned UCLA sociologist, and physiologist won the Pulitzer Prize for his book: “Guns, Germs, and Steel.” Is Pat Robertson qualified better than those magnificent men whose work reshaped the western world, of course not? Compared to them he is illiterate, uneducated, a dwarf, and a midget. In addition, he is a vulgar impudent who does not mind slandering the prophet of Islam, humiliate the Koran, the Word of Allah, and hurt the feelings of one billion and five hundred million Muslims. By standing against Islam as a religion and the Koran as a divine Book, Pat Robertson is but compiling sins over sins upon his head. As it shows, the man is completely ignorant of the Koranic facts refuting his false allegations. He takes the Koranic verses out of context to attack Islam without knowledge or authority. Is Muhammad a robber and a brigand? Accusing Muhammad – peace be upon him – with robbery and brigandage shows clearly that Pat Robertson is ignorant of the Islamic history, or maybe he knows it, but is avoiding the truth. The historical incidence of Muslims’ obstructing Quraish caravans, which for Part Robertson relied on to accuse Muhammad  with brigandage must be clarified to the readers. The Holy Prophet declared Allah’s message in Makkah and called upon the people to adopt Islam as their religion. The response of the people of Makkah was aggressive. They felt that unless Islam was not faced with a tough opposition, it would be accepted by a large number of people, especially the poor and the slaves. Those who took a lead in the opposition were the most influential chiefs of Quraish. When the chiefs of the Quraish felt that they had failed to suppress the Islamic movement by ridicule, sarcasm, and by holding out promises and threats and by making false accusations, they resorted to persecution, beating and economic pressure. They would catch hold of the new Muslims of their clans and persecute them, starve them and would even inflict physical torture on them in order to coerce them to give up Islam. The most pitiful victims of their persecution were the poor people and the slaves and the protégés of the Quraish. They were beaten black and blue, were imprisoned and kept thirsty and hungry and were dragged on the burning sands of Makkah. The people would get work from the professional laborers but would not pay them their wages. Even rich and respected converts were not spared. Rubbish, twigs and thorns would be thrown at the Holy Prophet and abuses would be launched at him. A Quraishite once tried to strangle the Holy Prophet with a sheet while he was praying in the Ka’bah. Another time, Abu Jahl placed filth on the Holy Prophet’s back when he was prostrating during prayers. The Quraish also hurled campaigns against the Holy Prophet. The Holy Prophet was called a madman. Poems were written to ridicule him. When the Holy Prophet’s second son died in infancy, Abu Lahab called him ‘abtar’ – a man with no male offspring. The  Koran says about this incident: Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! His wealth avails him not, neither what he has earned; he shall roast at a flaming fire, and his wife too, who carries fiber wood (thorn of Sa’dan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet). In her neck is a twisted rope of palm fiber (Al-Masad 1-5). The Quraish also imposed an economic boycott against the Muslims, prohibiting transaction with them, marriage to them, mixing with them as well as spreading propaganda that Muhammad was practicing witchcraft and was a liar. When the idolaters of Quraish felt that Muhammad was so persistent in spreading the Message of Islam, and that dozens of the Quraishites were enjoining Islam every day, they sent his uncle Abu taleb to him with an offer. The offer was: “ If you want money we will give you until you become the richest among us, and if you want position and fame we will make you our dignitary, so that we will not do anything without consulting you, and if you are seeking to be a king we will make you our king.” Muhammad replied: “O my uncle! By Allah if they put the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left in return that I give up this matter, I will never stop until Allah has made me victorious, or I die defending it”. Muhammad got up, and as he turned away, his uncle called back and then said “Go and preach what you please, for by Allah I will never forsake you.” After five years, the physical cruelties and social boycott did not let up. When the conditions became unbearable, the Prophet gave advice to his companions: “You may well migrate to Abyssinia, for there is a king, who does not allow any kind of injustice to anyone, and there is good in his land. You should remain there till the time that Allah provides a remedy for your affliction”. Eighty-eight men and eighteen women among the believers migrated to Abyssinia to seek refuge from Quraish’s torture. When Quraish requested their extradition, Negus, the king of Abyssinia, refused, saying that the Muslim believed what he believed. Only forty persons were left with the Holy Prophet in Makkah. There was a great clamor in Makkah after this Migration, for every family of the Quraish was adversely affected by this. There was hardly a family of the Quraish which did not lose a son, a son-in-law, a daughter, a brother or a sister. When the number of the believers increased in Medina, Allah revealed to the Prophet, to migrate to it. The Muslims then started to migrate one after another in compliance to the order of Allah and in obedience to thecommand of the Prophet. The blasphemers of the tribe of Quraysh noticed the continuous migration of the Companions to Medina, so they feared that the Prophet would do the same and leave Makkah. They held a meeting and decided to kill him. They schemed to have one man from every tribe and strike the Prophet with their swords all at once, thus it would be hard for his family to seek revenge from all the tribes. Angel Gabriel descended and informed the Prophet about Quraysh’s scheme of killing him and ordered him not to sleep in his regular sleeping place. Gabriel also conveyed to him Allah’s permission to migrate. The Prophet ordered his cousin Ali ibn Abi Talib to sleep in his place, and cover himself with the Prophet’s green shawl, and to return the belongings of the people, which they had kept with the Prophet for safekeeping; Ali obeyed the order. By that time, the blasphemers had already gathered at the Prophet’s door. Makkah is the most beloved city to the Prophet. His heart was strongly attached to it. It is the land where the Ka’ba, the sacred House was built; the sacred house dedicated to Allah’s worship. The Prophet looked at it and bade farewell to it with sweet soft words, which carried deep meanings, he said: “By Allah, I know that you are the most beloved land to Allah, by Allah I would have not left you had your people not caused me to leave.” Fully relying upon Allah the Exalted, the Messenger of Allah left his house with his hands full of dust and he spread the dust over the heads of the conspirators while reciting a verse from the Koran:  And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, and We have covered them, so they do not see (Yasin, 8). After being spread by the dust,The blasphemers fell in deep sleep. Thus, Allah concealed His Prophet from their sight. In the morning, they went into the Prophet’s house to kill him but instead they found Ali sleeping in his place. They erupted in rage and fury out of humiliation and embarrassment, especially when they found the dust on their heads. Angry, furious, and nervous they left the house seeking the trails of the Prophet. In the trip to Madinah the Prophet had as a companion Abu Bakr. The prophet and Abu Bakr hid in the cave of Thawr, few kilometres away from Makkah. Allah protected his Prophet and his companion by ordering a tree to grow at the mouth of the cave to cover it and two wild pigeons were ordered to sit in front of the cave one of which laid eggs. A spider was inspired to weave a web at the mouth of the cave.  When the men of Quraish came holding their swords, they stood by the cave and looked around and they saw the pigeons with their eggs and the spider web. They figured that if the Prophet and his companion had entered the cave they would have destroyed the eggs and the web, so they turned back and left defeated. What they did not know is that they were forty cubits away from the Prophet and his companion. The prophet and Abo Bakr stayed in the cave for three days then they headed toward Madinah. Quraish assigned a great amount of money as a bounty to whoever captures Muhammad and his companion. Surraqah Ibn Jushum was blinded by greed and money, he followed the trails of the migrating Prophet and his companion until he was as close as a spear’s measure of distance from them. Abu Bakr was scared for the life of the Prophet, but the Prophet comforted him and said calmly: “Allah is with us” that is He supports and protects. The legs of Surraqah’s horse sank deep in the sand until its stomach touched the ground while he was still mounting it. He got terrified and realized at that moment that a miracle was taking place to protect a great prophet. He asked the Prophet to make a supplication to Allah asking Him to have the legs of his horse back on the surface of the ground, he promised the Prophet that he would leave and will not reveal to the men of Quraish their trails. The Prophet did so and Surraqah left while in shock and honoured his promise; he embraced Islam eight years after that event. The Messenger of Allah migrated to Madinah with Abu Bakr after staying in Makkah for thirteen years calling people to embrace Islam and to believe in one God. The Migration of the Prophet was neither for money nor for fame but rather in obedience to the commands of Allah and relying on Him. Allah says in the Koran: If you do not help him, yet Allah has helped him already, when the unbelievers drove him forth the second of two (the Prophet and Abo Bakr), when the two were in the cave, when he said to his companion, ‘Sorrow not; surely Allah is with us (At-Tawbah, 40). The Prophet arrived at Madinah to start a new era rich of Islamic Knowledge, good manner and piety. He was capable by his guidance, instructions, and directives to unite the believers as if they all had the heart of a single man; particularly during the hard times. Moreover, he guided them to perform the obligations and to refrain from the prohibitions. He also taught them to love for their brothers what they love for themselves, advised them to have mercy among each other, and to help each other in their hardship. He advised them: “Do not dare to ever exceed the proper bounds of the religion, for extremism is what destroyed the nations before you.” From Madinah the rays of light beamed strongly led by the greatest Prophet, to wipe out the darkness of ignorance and disbelief. This leadership pushed the Islamic Call forward with an amazing thrust to build the barricades of truth and justice and to destroy the forces of blasphemy, disbelief, and corruption. After thirteen years of persecution, the Muslims who have been attacked by the infidels are now permitted to fight in defense of the wrong that has been inflicted on them. The Muslims have been driven out of their homes unjustly, only because they said, “Our Lord is Allah.” The believers are not alone in this world. When heedless, arrogant people make them the target of their persecution, Allah takes the side of the devotees against the persecutors. Initially Allah tests the sincerity of His proponents. But then, He comes to the help of those who passed the test, and proved their sincerity. He creates such circumstances for them as may help them to overcome all kinds of hurdles and continue to adhere to the truth. Allah inspired Muhammad: Leave is given to those who fight because they were wronged — surely Allah is able to help them – who were expelled from their habitations without right, except that they say, “Our Lord is Allah. (Al-Hajj, 39, 40). Now, the little community of Muslims is allowed to fight against the pagan Arabs of Quraish. The believers will not fight only against their own existence, but also for the very existence of the faith in the One true God, Allah. They had as much right to be in Makkah and worship Allah in the Ka’ba as the other Qoraishites; yet they were exiled for their faith and were forced to migrate to Medina with the Prophet and leave behind their wealth and properties. The Meccans had sold Muslim properties and invested it on their caravans. Quraish must now understand that the Muslims are now ready to fight in order to defend their religion and restore their plundered properties. It was impossible to march to Makkah because the distance between Makkah and Madinah was 493.6 km. When Allah wants to make his religion prevails though the believers are weak and small in number, He helps them by inventing suitable conditions that would make the believers win their battles against the infidels and keep calling their people to the truth. This is why sometimes the believers wage war, if necessary, but their war is always defensive, never aggressive. The solution, then, is to provoke strong Quraish by raiding its caravans and cause them economic loss. The raids would certainly provoke Quraish and compel her to launch war. If the conditions at the time of the Prophet were compared to the conditions of the modern world today, this issue would indeed become very clear. When a nation today declares war against any other nation for whatever reason, the first thing that precedes the actual armed conflict is an ‘economic boycott’ against that nation. There are several examples in today’s modern world whereby a country like the United States declares an ‘economic boycott’ or ‘trade embargo’ against the nations who oppose her; e.g. Libya, North Korea, Iraq, Iran, or even France or China! The United States enforced a trade embargo on Cuba for 50 years because she does not endorse the views of democracy the United States believe in. After the migration of the Prophet and the believers to Medina, the pagan Quraish of Makkah declared war against the believers of Medina; thus, the two states were at war. The main economic activity of the people of Makkah was their trade with foreign nations, namely, Syria in the north and Yemen to the south, and Madinah was, so to speak, at the throat of their trade routes to Syria. After the migration of the believers to Medina, a huge trade caravan was assembled in Makkah bound for Syria under the leadership of Abu Sufyan; and the majority of the goods to be traded were the belongings left behind by the believers which were confiscated by the pagan Makkans with the intention that the profits from this trade caravan would be used to wage a great war against the believers in Madinah, and destroy them once and for all. When the Messenger of Allah and the believers got news of this caravan bound for Syria and the intention of the pagans to destroy the believers with its profits, they decided to confront this caravan as any nation at war would do as a ‘tactic of war’. But Abu Sufyan managed to save the caravan on his way to Syria, and even on his way back from Syria; but the subsequent events regarding the safeguarding of the caravan led to the Battle of Badr between the pagan Quraish of Makkah and the believers of Madina at the Plains of Badr. Thus one should understand that the proposed raiding of the trade caravan was a ‘tactic of war’ which is only permitted in Islam against those who are in a state of war against the believers. But in time of peace, it is not permissible to raid any trade caravan or confiscate the property of any nation or its people who is not at war with the Muslim nation. It is impermissible and considered a huge sin in Islam for an individual or a gang of people to attack or raid or confiscates the property of others (believers or non-believers) in any way, for their own personal or material gain. In the Koran, Allah relates the example of a community whom He destroyed, because they committed highway robbery! To the people of Midain We sent their brother Shu’ayb. He said, ‘My people, serve Allah: you have no god other than Him. A clear sign has come to you from your Lord. So fill up the measure and the balance, and diminish not the goods of the people; and do not corruption in the land after it has been set right; that is better for you if you are believer ‘ Do not sit in every pathway threatening and barring those who believe in Allah from His way trying to make it crooked. Remember how you used to be few and He made you multiply. Think about the fate of those who used to spread corruption (Al-A’raf 85, 86). Thus, in conclusion, ‘economic boycotts’ or ‘trade embargoes’ are an accepted tactic of war, and this tactic is permitted and endorsed by Allah and His Messenger when a Muslim nation is at war with another nation. But Islam declares it absolutely impermissible and it is considered a huge sin in the sight of Allah for an individual or a group of people to steal or rob the property of others for their own personal or material gain (2). This is exactly what happened with the Quraish caravans when Allah ordered Muslims to fight back the wrongdoers. The Muslims started their struggle with the pagan Arabs by obstructing their caravans. The intention here was not material gains, but a message sent to the Quraishites that if they want to restore their goods, then come and fight the Muslims. And this is exactly what happened. The tribe of Quraish came with all its might to Madina to fight the Prophet and his companions (only 200 soldiers with one horse) versus more than one thousand Quraishite soldiers, with hundreds of camels and horses. Any reasonable evaluation of the impact that would result from such encounter will be the total defeat of Muslims. But Allah created the suitable conditions that made Muslim victorious. He provided them with angels to battle with them against the unbelievers. The Battle of Badr was a turning point in Muhammad‘s struggle with the Quraishites. It was a decisive victory attributable to divine intervention. Before the real attack began, Muhammad had given orders for the Muslims to attack with their ranged weapons, and only engage the Quraish with melee weapons when they advanced. Now he gave the order to charge, he then took a handful of pebbles and threw it at the disbelievers faces, and he shouted; ‘ Defaced be those faces!” The Muslim army yelled, “O thou whom Allah hath made victorious, slay!” and rushed to the Quraishi lines. After few hours fighting, the Meccans broke and ran. The Quran describes the divine help Allah supported Muslims with during the battle of Badr. Allah ordered thousands of angels to descend from heaven to help Muslims defeat their enemy. We read in the Koran: And remember when you said to the believers, ’Is it not enough for you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels sent down upon you? (Al-Imran, 124). Yea; if you are patient and god-fearing, and the foe come against you instantly, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand swooping angels.’ (Al-Imran, 125). Allah ordered the angels to strike the necks of the disbelievers, and to strike all their finger joints. The Koran says: When thy Lord was revealing to the angels, ’I am with you; so confirm the believers. I shall cast into the unbelievers’ hearts terror; so smite above the necks, and smite every finger of them!’ (Al-Anfal, 12). After attaining victory, Allah descended the next verse: You did not slew them, but Allah slew them; and you (Muhammad) threw not when you did throw, but Allah threw, and that He might confer on the believers a fair benefit; surely, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. That is what you get! And Allah will weaken the disbelievers’ guile (Al-Anfal 17, 18). Helping believers is a responsibility borne by Allah. But when does this happen? It happens when the believers merge their will with that of Allah, in such a way that Allah’s will and their will become one and the same. When the servants of Allah align themselves with Allah in such a way, whatever belongs to Allah become theirs, because they would have already given to Allah whatever was his. Allah says in the Koran: (O disbelievers) if you ask for a judgment, now has the judgment come to you; and if you cease (to do wrong), it will be better for you, and if you return (to the attack), so shall We return, and your forces will be of no avail to you, however numerous it be; and verily, Allah is with the believers (Al-Anfal, 19). Numerically the odds against the Muslims were three to one. The Muslims were at a disadvantage of arms and equipment. They were inexperienced while the Quraish had brought their foremost warriors. In all this, there was a test, but the test was accompanied by gracious favors of countless values: their commander was Prophet Muhammad whom they had perfect faith, and for whom they were ready to lay down their lives; the spirit was unshaken, and they were fighting for Allah’s cause. Thus, the test became itself a blessing. The Muslims won the battle with Allah’s help, and the light of Islam started to spread, filling the world with divine knowledge and surrender to the One and only God, Allah. This is the story from which Pat Robertson and all the other morons like him concluded that Muhammad was a robber and a brigand! If I look at the bible, I will find 321 violent passages urging the prophets of the children of Israel and the believers to fight their enemies, and kill their young, women, and children, and elderly, demolish their houses and inherit their lands, etc. For example: Ezekiel 9:6 “Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women . . . ” Isaiah 13:16 “Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.” Deuteronomy 13:15 “Thou shalt surely smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, destroying it utterly . . . ” Leviticus 20:9 “For every one that curses his father or his mother shall be surely put to death . . . ” Exodus 32:27 “. . . Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.” Deut 21:10-12 “When thou goest forth to war against thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, And seest among the captives a beautiful woman, and hast a desire unto her, that thou wouldest have her to thy wife; Then thou shalt bring her home to thine house, and she shall shave her head, and pare her nails; ” Exodus 31:15 ” . . . whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.” Deut 21:21 “And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he dies.. Pat Robertson, why don’t you blame Allah for His violent commands against the disbelievers in the Bible? Why don’t you accuse the Prophets who submitted to Allah’s commands and killed their enemies, and plundered their properties and captured their women and children with robbery and brigandage? Why the Koran in particular is the only Book that you stand against? It is the Lord who is talking in both Books you moron; these commands were not the literal words of Moses or Isaiah, or Ezekiel or Muhammad. These Prophets were only conveying Allah’s Message and obeying His orders; it is their role to submit and obey and not to argue with Allah about His will. When the Lord speaks, the believers, in every time and age, must submit to His will and blindly follow his commands. The Koran is no different from the other previous divine Books. On the contrary, the Koran is the culmination of a series of divine messages that started with those revealed to Adam, the Scrolls of Abraham, the Torah of Moses, the Psalms of David, and the Gospel of Jesus may peace be upon them all. All these Books are mentioned in The Koran with high respect. The Koranic text assumes familiarity with many events from Jewish and Christian scriptures, retelling some of these events in distinctive ways, and referring obliquely to others. The Koran is therefore not a theft from the Bible as Pat Robertson ignorantly claimed, but the principle source of every Muslim’s faith and practice. It deals with all subjects that concern us as human beings, including wisdom, doctrine, worship and law; its basic theme is the relationship between Allah and His creatures. The Koran provides guidelines for a just society, proper human conduct and equitable economic principles. We read in the Koran: “He (Allah) has sent down to you the Book (the Koran) with truth, confirming what was revealed before; And He sent down the Torah (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this as a guide to mankind; and He sent down the Criterion (the Koran) (Al-Imran 3, 4). Is the Koran not a religion, but a cult, a sect as Pat Robertson claims? Islam is not a sect or a cult, it is an all-embracing way of life. It extends over the entire spectrum of life. It shows Muslims how to conduct all human activities in a sound and wholesome manner. It does not allow a hierarchy of priests or intermediaries between Allah and human beings, no farfetched abstractions and no complicated rites and rituals. When we read the Koran or the Prophetic traditions, we find instructions regarding all aspects of life: political, social, economic, material, ethical, national and international. The Prophetic traditions go as far as showing to Muslims all the steps they need to follow, even the etiquette of using the bathroom: supplications to be said upon entering it and leaving it, how to clean ourselves properly and so on. Islam does not recognize any kind of separation between religion and life. It openly rejects the Western saying: “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and unto God what is God’s”; for everything should be dedicated to Allah alone and a Muslim is required to submit himself completely to the Will of Allah in all his affairs. Allah says in the Koran: “Say: ‘Truly, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the worlds. No partner has He: this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who submit to His Will.’” (Al-An’am, 162). Islam does not believe in wishful thinking. It clearly states that righteous conduct must be followed by believing in Allah. The Koran says: “For those who believe and work deeds of righteousness a reward that will never fail (Fussilat, 18).” The Koran also says: Those who believe and work righteousness, joy is for them and a blissful place of (final) return.” (Al-Ra’d, 29). Islam, as the revealed Religion from Allah, is complete and perfect. Its divine book, the Koran, is the most comprehensive book available to mankind for guidance, nothing has been omitted from it. Allah Almighty has chosen Islam as the only religion acceptable to Him.   Islam is the best way of life for all. It serves as the best solution to all sorts of problems no matter how perplexing they may be. Islam is the absolute answer to those who seek a perfect religion and a complete way of life. It guides man to a well-balanced life, one that makes us happy and contented in this world and in the life Hereafter.  It is the way to attaining supreme success in the everlasting world to come.  In short, Islam, as the complete way for all, is Allah’s Mercy to the whole of mankind. Allah says in the Koran: This is My path, leading straight, so follow it, and do not follow other ways: they will lead you away from it – this is what He commands you to do, so that you may refrain from wrongdoing (Al-An’am, 153). The above verse shows clearly that there is a single right path to be followed, and that is the teachings of the Koran and the Sunna of the Prophet. However, and as prophesized by the Prophet, the nation of Islam shall be divided into seventy three sects; seventy two of which are deviant. The deviant sects will practice innovated religious practices that do not include apostasy. Each shall be punished in accordance to the innovations it fabricated, except for those whom Allah pardons and forgives. The only sect that will be safe is that which adheres to the Sunna of the Prophet and hold fast to what he and his companions followed. It is they about whom the Prophet said: A group of my nation shall remain steadfast, on the truth, victorious, unharmed by those who oppose them, and do not support them, until death overtakes them or until the Day of Resurrection) (Sahih al-Bukhari, nos.71 and 3641, and Saheeh Muslim, no.1920). As for the seventy two sects, they are all disbelievers who will live forever in the Fire. The Prophet said: “My community will experience everything that the Children of Israel had experienced, following in their footsteps exactly, so much so that if one of them had approached his mother publicly for sex, one of my community will do the same. The Children of Israel will be divided into 72 sects. My community will be divided into 73 sects, and all of them will be in the Hellfire save one.” The people asked him: “And which one will that be?” He replied: “The one that follows what I and my Companions are upon right now.” (Sunan ibn Majah 3981, Kitab Al Fitan). These sects that developed years later have nothing to do with the fundamental religion of Islam. These sects have lost the way, and each claims that he is on the right path. The true religion is only one, and it has been revealed in its perfect form to every Prophet. The followers of the true religion in all ages turn towards Allah, fear Him, worship Him, and giving their full attention to Him with all their hearts and souls. All Prophets preached this one religion, but their followers in later generations split it into many religions. This splitting from the original religion resulted from the additions made by later generations to the original teachings of the Prophets. Hair-splitting innovations in beliefs and new interpretations of religion have created many religions out of one. When these additions are made, people start to lay more stress on them than on the original religion. This had led to the emergence of several groups that set themselves up in opposition to each other. One group emphasizes one set of additions while another group emphasizes another set. At last, a stage is reached when the followers of a single religion become divided up into many religious factions, each rejoices in its narrow doctrine, and each claims that he is on the right path. The Koran says: Those who split up their religion and became divided into sects; each one exulting in what they have (Ar-Rum, 32). The Koran also says: Those who have made division in their religion and become sects, you are not of them in anything; their affair is unto Allah, then He will tell them what they have been doing (Al-An’am, 159). All Prophets are from one brotherhood: their Message is one, and their religion and teaching are one: they serve the one true God, Allah, who loves and cherishes them; and they owe their duty to Him alone. Yet the people were divided among themselves and set at variance. Instead of unity in feeling, action and purpose, they differed concerning the unity of Allah. The Lord says in the Koran: ‘O Messengers, eat of the good things and do righteousness; surely I know the things you do. Surely this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so fear Me.’ But they split in their affair between them into sects, each party rejoicing in what is with them. So leave them in their perplexity for a time (Al-Mu’minun 51-54). Allah has endowed the Messengers with privileges some more than others. Among them was he to whom Allah has spoken, and some He graded a step higher in the scale of rank. Allah sent Jesus, son of Mary, with clear revelations and signs, which guide out of darkness and superstition of later times into illumination, and He supported him and gave him countenance by the Holy Spirit, Gabriel. But their successors differed among themselves and fought each other, especially after they received Allah’s Message. They were at variance and in a state of enmity and discord; some obeying Allah and others denying Him or rejecting His ordinances and decrees. We read in the Koran: And those Messengers, some We have preferred above others; some there are to whom Allah spoke, and some He raised in rank. And We gave Jesus son of Mary the clear signs, and confirmed him with the Holy Spirit. And had Allah willed, those who came after him would not have fought one against the other after the clear signs had come to them; but they fell into variance, and some of them believed, and some disbelieved; and had Allah willed they would not have fought one against the other; but Allah does whatsoever He desires (Al-Baqrah, 253). People excesses in religion may lead them to blasphemy. The Jewish excesses in the direction of formalism, racialism, exclusiveness, and rejection of Jesus have been denounced in the Koran in many places. The Koran also condemned the Christian attitude, which raises Jesus to equality with Allah; attributes a physical son to Allah; inventing the dogmas of original sin, crucifixion, vicarious atonement, and the doctrine of the Trinity, and in some cases venerating Mary almost to idolatry. These false dogmas and doctrines are repudiated in the Koran as blasphemies. Allah is independent of all needs and has no need of a son to manage His affairs. Allah says in the Koran: People of the Book, go not beyond the bounds in your religion, and say not as to Allah but the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only the Messenger of Allah, and His Word that He committed to Mary, and a Spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers, and say not, ’Three.’ Refrain; better is it for you. Allah is only One God. Glory be to Him — That He should have a son! To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and in the earth; God suffices for a guardian (An-Nisa’, 171). Mary, – Jesus mother- never claimed that she was a mother of Allah, or that her son was Allah. She was a pious and virtuous woman. The Messiah was no more than a Messenger; many messengers like him have passed away before him. He and his mother had to consume food to survive and sustain their lives, and therefore destined to die. Like any other human being, they had to cleanse themselves from dregs and excretions to purify themselves. Allah is one, His message is one; yet how people’s perversity transforms truth into falsehoods, religion into superstition! The Koran states: The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; Messengers before him passed away; his mother was a just woman; they both ate food. Behold, how We made clear the signs to them; then behold, how they perverted are (Al-Maidah, 75). Christ often watched and prayed as a humble worshipper of Allah; and his agony in the garden of Gethsemane was full of human dignity, suffering and self-humiliation (see Matt. xxvi. 36-45). The Koran says: The Messiah would never disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels who are close to Him. He will gather before Him all those who disdain His worship and are arrogant (Al-Nisa’, 172). On the Day of Judgment, Jesus will disclaim any knowledge of the sorts of things that were attributed to him by those who take his name. The worship of Mary, though repudiated by the Protestants, was widely spread in the earlier churches, both in the east and the west. The Koran states: And when Allah said, ’O Jesus son of Mary, didst thou say unto men, “Take me and my mother as gods, apart from Allah”?’ He said, ’To Thee be glory! It is not mine to say what I have no right to. If I indeed said it, Thou knowest it, knowing what is within my soul, and I know not what is within Thy soul; Thou knowest the things unseen. I only said to them what Thou didst you command me: “Serve Allah my Lord and your Lord.” And I was a witness over them, while I remained among them; but when Thou didst take me to Thyself, Thou wast Thyself the watcher over them; Thou Thyself art witness of everything  (Al-Maidah 116, 117). Jesus never said in the Gospel that he was Allah. What he said was,‘The first of all the commandments is, Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord.” The Koran states They are unbelievers who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, Mary’s son.’ For the Messiah said, ’Children of Israel, serve Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Verily whoso associates with Allah anything, Allah shall prohibit him entrance to Paradise, and his refuge shall be the Fire; and wrongdoers shall have no helpers.’ They are unbelievers who say, ‘Allah is the third of three.’ No god is there but one God. If they refrain not from what they say, there shall afflict those of them that disbelieve a painful chastisement (Al-Maidah 72, 73). This is a great admonition and warning to the Christians of the whole world. In the Old Testament, one can see how freely the expression “sons of God” was used by the Jews. As mentioned earlier, a sect of the Jews called Uzair (Ezra) the son of God. The Christians still call Christ the son of God. Taking men for gods or sons of God was not a new thing. All ancient mythologies have fables of that kind. The Jews took their rabbis and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah. The Christians took Christ the son of Mary as their Lord; yet they were commanded to worship but one God, Allah. Their wish was to put out the light of Truth for they are people of darkness; but Allah will perfect His light and makes it shine all the brighter in the eyes of men. We read in the Koran: The Jews say, ‘Ezra is the son of god.’ That is the utterance of their mouths, conforming to the unbelievers before them. Allah assails them! How they are perverted! They have taken their rabbis and their monks as lords apart from Allah, and the Messiah, Mary’s son – and they were commanded to serve but one God; there is no god but He; glory be to Him, above that they associate – desiring to extinguish with their mouths Allah’s light; and Allah refuses but to perfect His light, though the unbelievers be averse (At-Tawbah 30-32). Allah rejected all these fabricated religions and established the religion revealed to Muhammad as the sole authentic edition of His religion, which would remain valid until doomsday. Allah says: It is He who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of Truth, so that He may make it prevail over every other religion, though the unbelievers be averse (At-Tawbah, 33). Allah set a parable in the Koran for those who incorporate with Allah other deities. They stand similitude exact of someone who has fallen from heaven and been snatched by the birds of prey or been swept away by a storm in its fury to a distant and far off place. Devote yourselves to Allah and assign Him no partners, for the person who does so is like someone who has been hurled down from the skies and snatched up by the birds or flung to a distant place by the wind (Al-Hajj, 31). Now, the last chance has come to the Jews and the Christians to go back to their senses and put things right. Now out of Allah’s mercy Muhammad came to them to help them abandon the superstitions and the fabrications they added to their religion, so they cannot later on claim innocence and say before Allah on the Day of Judgment, ‘No one came to us in the capacity of a spectacle and a warning.’ There is he – the Messenger Muhammad and his everlasting Book that is guarded from corruption until Doomsday, in your midst, so use your mind and follow the right path before it is too late. Allah warns in the Koran: People of the Book (Jews and Christians) now there has come to you Our Messenger making things clear to you, upon an interval between the Messengers lest you should say, ‘There has not come to us any bearer of good tidings, neither any warner.’ Indeed, there has come to you a bearer of good tidings and a warner, Allah is Powerful over everything (Al-Maidah, 19). Now pat Paterson, do you still think that Islam is a sect? The sect and the cult is the contemporary corrupted Christianity you believe in. In present Christianity which deviated from the original religion of Jesus (pure monotheism i.e. Islam), we find a large schism between Eastern and Western Christianity. After these two larger families come other different denominations: Roman Catholicism, Protestantism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Anglicanism, Oriental Orthodoxy, and the Church of the East, which was originally referred to as Nestorianism but in modern times is embodied by the Assyrian Church of the East. Unlike Roman Catholicism, Protestantism is a general movement that has no universal governing authority. As such, diverse groups such as Adventists, Anabaptists, Baptists, Binitarians, Charismatics, Congregationalists, Evangelicals, Holiness churches, Lutherans, Methodists,Moravians, Pentecostals, Presbyterians, Reformed, and Unitarians are all a part of the same family but have distinct doctrinal variations within each group. From these come denominations, which in the West, have independence from the others in their doctrine. There are about 40,000 different Christian denominations. They can be split into four main branches each of which can be further subdivided, of course. These main branches are: Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant and Anglican, (Anglo-Catholic; half-way between Catholic and Protestant). Some schemes suggest five, six, or more main branches, possibly including:  Nestorian, Monophysite, Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, Anglican, Restorationist, Independent, Marginal, etc. Subdivisions of the Main Branches are: Eastern Christians, Catholic Christians, and Protestant Christians. These branches are subdivided into thousands of different denominations, as well as independent or non-denominational groups. The monotheistic religion of Jesus has been split into about 40 major divisions, each of whom might have some variation in belief (3). The monotheistic religion of Jesus was fabricated into Trinitarianism instead of monotheism,  vicarious atonement instead of salvation through faith in the one God and doing good deeds, original sin although Adam was forgiven,  crucifixion though Jesus was raised up to His Lord, the puzzling doctrine of trinity, which contradict the oneness of Allah. All these dogmas and doctrines were rejected by the Koran, and were considered as acts of blasphemy. The religion of Jesus was fabricated to such an extent that it became a sect, a cult and not a true religion. Sectarian Christianity occurred too early, only less than 70 years after Jesus was elevated to his Lord. On the other hand, the Koran is based on one core belief, that there is no god worthy of worship but Allah.  He alone is the Sustainer and Creator of the universe.  He is without partners, children, or associates. He is the Most Merciful, the Most Wise, and the Most Just.  He is the all Hearer, all Seer, and the All-knowing, He is the First, He is the Last. Muslims worship Allah alone, He has no partners, associates, or helpers.  Worship is directed solely to Allah, for He is the only One worthy of worship.  There is nothing greater than Allah alone. Allah has descended the Koran and guarded it from corruption. It will never be adulterated with strange concepts and superstitions as happened with the Bible and the Gospel. Belief in One God entails certainty. The Koran says: It is We who have sent down the Remembrance (the Koran), and We watch over it (al-Hijr, 9). This why the Koran stood the test of time, and in it is the truth personified until the Day of Judgment. The concept of a trinity inherent in most Christian denominations ostensibly includes aspects of plurality.  The belief that one God is somehow three divinities (father, son, and Holy Spirit) contradicts the concept of Monotheism inherent in Islam, where the Oneness of Allah is unquestionable.  Some Christian groups, including those known as Unitarians believe that Allah is One and cannot be God and human at the same time.  They take the words of Jesus in John 17:3, “the One True God” literally.  However, the vast majority of the Christians do not share this belief. Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, came particularly to the Christians and the Jews to warn them of a mighty chastisement if they do not worship the one God, Allah. This is why Allah mentioned in the Koran that Muhammad was sent as a mercy to all humankind. He came to show them the road to true salvation. If the Jews and the Christians accept the teachings of the Koran and the Prophet, it is to their own good, if not, it is to their own loss. The Koran says:  Say: ’People of the Book! Come now to a word common between us and you, that we serve none but Allah, and that we associate not aught with Him, and do not some of us take others as Lords, apart from Allah.’ And if they turn their backs, say: ’Bear witness that we are Muslims.’ (Al-Imran, 64). Had the people of the Book (Jews and Christians) conformed to Allah’s will and believed in Muhammad and the Koran which was sent down to him, and entertained the profound reverence dutiful to Allah, Allah would have dropped the charges against them and the crimes of their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss. We read in the Koran: But had the People of the Book believed and been god-fearing, We would have acquitted them of their evil deeds, and admitted them to Gardens of Bliss (Al-Maidah, 65). But what would be the case if they do not believe: Say: ’The truth is from your Lord; so let whosoever will believe, and let whosoever will disbelieve.’ Surely We have prepared for the evildoers a fire, whose pavilion encompasses them; if they call for succor, they will be succored with water like molten copper, that shall scald their faces — how evil a potion, and how evil a resting-place! (Al-Kahf, 29). So, as you see, Pat Robertson, contemporary Christianity is a sect, a cult, that occurred as early as 70 years after the elevation of Jesus to Allah, and until the present time, it is not at all the true monotheistic religion of Jesus. The Koran however, which is guarded by Allah from corruption, will always remain the only true religion calling for the worship of the One God, Allah, and salvation through sincere faith and good deeds. The infidels are alike throughout history. Should Pat Robertson and other infidel polytheists accuse Muhammad of falsehood, so did those before them, the people of Noah, of A’d (the Adites) and of Thamud (the Thamudites); they charged their Prophets with imposturous pretense. Also, the people of Abraham, Moses, Lot, and Shu’ayb, the Prophet of the Midian people, rebelled against their Prophets, and were subjected to Allah’s wrath. The Koran says in this respect: If they cry lies to thee, so too before them the people of Noah cried lies, and A’d and Thamud, and the people of Abraham, the people of Lot, and the men of Midian; to Moses also they cried lies. And I respited the unbelievers, then I seized them; and how was My horror (Al-Hajj 42-44). Pat Robertson thinks God inspires him – God talks to him! Pat Robertson thinks that he is a Holy man, a man of God, a man inspired, God talks to him, and that he has already reserved a seat in Paradise. Every year he bombards the Americans with so-called prophecies of how people need to do certain things in order to prosper and get through the year. Back in 1999, for instance, he said that God told him that those who do not double their giving that year would not survive the year 2000! This is how he illegitimately collects money from his followers. Before the reelection of Obama for a second term, Pat Robertson said that God told him who the next president will be. He predicted that Mitt Romney will replace Obama as a president. But Mitt Romney was not elected as a president and was defeated. Pat Robertson said that the Lord told him, “The country was disintegrating, and to expect chaos and paralysis, “Your country will be torn apart by internal stress, a house divided cannot stand. Your president holds a radical view of the direction of your country, which is at odds with the majority.” Robertson’s predictions are either miss or downright off target; none are 100% accurate. The man is deceiving his followers by false prophesies. His main target is only worldliness. He attracts the people who are afraid of the future and want to know that their comfort in this life is secured for another year. Who Are False Prophets? Coming now to false prophets, Jesus said, according to the Bible (NIV): [They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.] (Matthew 15:9) [Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.] (Matthew 7:15) [For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.] (Matthew 24:24) [For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible.] (Mark 13:22). There are two categories of false prophets: 1. Claimers following their own fancies and whims, seeking worldly gains of prestige, authority, or wealth. 2. Prominent personalities, over-magnified by their followers, who raise them to the status of prophets or semi-gods. Of the first category are those who invented or changed a creed without authority or supporting evidence from God. Examples are Paul and others, then followed by the Church, which reformulated Christianity against what Jesus stood for. Similarly in Islamic history, several claimants sought to ruin Islam from within, forming deviant sects like Qadianis, Baha’is and extreme Shiite sects such as the Ismailis. The second category includes several philosophers, scientists, clergy, and leaders, etc., who were considered almost inviolable prophets to be believed and followed unquestionably. Examples are Greek philosophers, Marx, Lenin, Darwin, Saints, Roman emperors and their modern counterparts of the so-called New World Order. God is not in Pat Robertson’s horizon. He uses covetousness to make merchandise of God’s people. He is one of the false teachers and false prophets that we are warned about in scripture. The main topic of his preaching seems to have been seed faith. People are taught to believe that what they give to the preachers will be given back to them by God and often up to 100 times what they originally gave. The biggest selling point of Christianity is the promise and belief that Christians will have eternal life in heaven. Another big selling point is the belief in the promises the Bible makes, promises such as faith healing and getting whatever you want from God through prayer. Sincere people who mistakenly believe the Bible is the Word of God are easy prey for people like Oral Roberts, Pat Robertson, Ken and Gloria Copeland, John Hagee, ad nauseam. These charlatans, and many others like them, can point to many Bible verses which prove their point. For example, do you want the power to heal the sick? It’s yours, according to Mark 16:18! Do you want to be able to pray for anything under the Sun and get it? You can according to Matthew 21:22! A famous quote used by these con-artists is Luke 6:38 which says, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” When sincere Bible believers are shown these verses , they genuinely believe it is God who is telling them these things and making these promises to them because they really believe the Bible is the Word of God. The clergy take advantage of the credulity of the people and by doing so take millions and millions of dollars from them for themselves. Some Christian clergy believe that the seed faith teachings are wrong and they focus more on what Jesus said about giving all you have to the poor and then following him. These preachers believe more in a Bible verse, which appears just a few verses up from Luke 6:38, quoted above. That verse is Luke 6:24, which says, “But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.” These verses clearly demonstrate the ambiguity of the Bible. And, of course, if the Bible was really the Word of God there would be no ambiguity in it. As the American Revolutionary leader and Deist Thomas Paine wrote, “the Bible decides nothing, because it decides any way, and every way, one chooses to make it.” This is why during the American Civil War both sides used the Bible to prove their opposing positions on slavery, since the Bible can be used to back-up whatever position you take on the issue. For example, Leviticus 25:10 says, “proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof”, while 34 verses latter in the same book in the same Bible, at Leviticus 25:44-46, the Bible god teaches that Hebrews can own outright and for ever Gentiles/heathens and their children and can leave them to their children to be inherited as any other piece of property! (4). Pat Robertson invents lies of his own concoction and attributes them to Allah. He utters falsehood in the name of Allah. The poor man does not realize the terrible consequences of his lies. On the Day of Judgment besides bearing the burden of his own sins and infidelity, he will bear the burden of deluding others with falsehood. The Koran says: They shall bear their own burdens and other burdens besides. On the Day of Resurrection, they shall be questioned about their false assertions (Al-Ankabut, 13). Allah says in the Koran about liars like Pat Robertson: And who does greater evil than he who forges against God a lie, or says, ’To me it has been revealed’, when naught has been revealed to him, or he who says, ’I will send down the like of what God has sent down’? If thou couldst only see when the evildoers are in the agonies of death, and the angels are stretching out their hands: ’Give up your souls! Today you shall be recompensed with the chastisement of humiliation for what you said untruly about God, waxing proud against His signs.’ (Al-An’am, 93). Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam, is a true Prophet. His prophet-hood was characterized by truthfulness and honesty. Allah supported him and his few early followers with unexpected victories in spite of their poverty, physical weakness, and military and technical inexperience. His Message was supported and spread to every corner of the world in a brief time. No human being could have such a biography unless he is a true Messenger of Allah, and truly, he was. Allah rewards him for what he honestly delivered and for his striving for the salvation of all nations and generations. Based on the above, Pat Robertson is a fraud; no wonder people call him “false prophet”. People should not listen to him. Pat Robertson is not a man of God but a collector of worldly gains The haughtiness which developed in Pat Robertson is due to his worldly position and the riches he possesses in the world. He forgets that whatever blessings come his way, are only for the purpose of testing him and that too during a finite period. As soon as the time of death arrives, all these things will suddenly be snatched from him. Thereafter, he will be a lone existence. Immediately after death, he will reach that stage where he will have neither wealth nor position; he will have neither his companions nor his intermediaries, there will be only Allah and Himself. None of the things he was proud of in the world will be there to save him from Allah’s scourge. Pat Robertson and his like, try to charm their way through life with the magic of words to show their existence to be justified and righteous. He portrays the path he treads as straightway leading towards correct goals. But when the revolution of the Hereafter unveils the realities, how utterly meaningless will his words appear. At the distressful moment of death  the angels of death will come to Pat Robertson and put forward their hands to disembody his soul and say to him, “Today you shall suffer the humiliating torment which is laid upon the damned for attributing to Allah nothing but falsehood, and for turning your head in contempt objecting Allah’s signs with inordinate self-esteem.” We read in the Koran: If thou couldst only see when the evil doers are in the agonies of death, and the angels are stretching out their hands, “Give up your souls! Today you shall be recompensed with the chastisement of humiliation for what you said untruly about Allah, waxing proud against His signs (Al-An’am, 93). This slanderer of the Prophet and hater of Islam forget that now he is 83 years old, and that he is just few steps away from his grave. Wherever he may be, death will overtake him though he should be in raised-up towers, however, he stubbornly insists to meet his Lord as a liar and a sinner. The Koran says: Say: ’Surely death, from which you flee, shall encounter you; then you shall be returned to the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, and He will tell you that you have been doing (Al-Jum’ah, 8). Does he know that on the Day of Resurrection he will be held responsible for all his deeds and that he will be questioned by Allah? Allah says in the Koran: “Draws near for mankind their reckoning, while they turn away in heedlessness.” Al-‘Anbia’, 1). He also says: “Verily, to Us will be their return, then verily, for Us will be their Reckoning.” (Al-Ghashiah 25, 26). Allah describes the Reckoning in His Koran: “On the Day when every person will be confronted with all the good he has done, and all the evil he has done, he will wish that there were a great distance between him and his evil.” ( Al-Imran, 30). Pat Robertson is a threat to his country. His ugly words about Allah and His Message and Messenger could easily put his country under Allah’s wrath. Rivalry for worldly gain distracts him until he visits the grave. He takes delight and indulges in the pleasures of life from which he is sure to depart. He is absorbed in worldly pleasures but after a little while, he will be put in a narrow hole wherein there is no rivalry or pride. Pat Robertson, you will be buried in the grave then left alone without one single penny you earned in life. Your deceased soul will remain in the grave awaiting the resurrection. However, it will feel immediately a taste of its destiny to come. If your soul is bound for hell, it will be tortured in the grave. The grave will be a pitch of Hell until the Resurrection day. But if it is bound for heaven, it will be in peace until the time of resurrection. Yes, the sinners are severely tortured in the grave. When the Prophet and his Companions were once passing some graves of polytheists, the Prophet’s horse bolted and almost unseated him. The Prophet explained: “These people are being tortured in their graves, and were it not that you would stop burying your dead, I would ask Allah to let you hear the punishment in the grave which I (and this horse) can hear.” [Sahih Muslim]. After burying, and the friends and parents of the deceased depart, the soul of a wicked person is restored to its body. Two fearsome dreadful angels by the name of Munkar and Nakeer, come to it for its interrogation. After making him sit up, they ask: “Who is your Lord?” The disbelieving soul answers: “Alas, alas, I do not know.” Munkar and Nakeer ask: “What is your religion?” The disbelieving soul says: “Alas, alas, I do not know.” Munkar and Nakeer ask: “What do you say about this man (Muhammad) sent to you?” The disbelieving soul says: “Alas, alas I do not know.” Having failed his test, the disbeliever’s head is struck with an iron hammer with a force so violent that it could crumble a mountain. A cry is heard from heaven: “He has lied, so spread out carpets of Hell for him, and open for him a portal into Hell.” The floor of his grave is thus set alight with some of Hell’s fierce fire, and his grave is made narrow and constricted to the extent that his ribs become intertwined as his body is crushed, then, an incredibly ugly being, wearing ugly garments and giving off a foul and offensive odor comes to the disbelieving soul and says: “Be grieved with what displeases you, for this is your day which you have been promised.” The disbeliever will ask: “Who are you, with your face so ugly and bringing evil?” The ugly one will reply: “l am your wicked deeds!” (Ahmad). The disbeliever is then made to taste bitter remorse as he is shown what would have been his abode in Paradise – had he lived a righteous life – before a portal is opened for him every morning and evening showing him his actual home in Hell. (Ibn Hibban). Allah mentions in His Book  the condition of Pharaoh and his wicked people suffering from such an exposure to Hell from within their graves: “The Fire: they are exposed to it, morning and afternoon, and on the Day when the Hour will be established (it will be said to the angels): ‘Now cause Pharaoh’s people to enter the severest torment!’” (Ghafir, 46). Overcome with fear and loathing, anxiety and despair, the disbeliever in his grave will keep begging: “My Lord, do not bring the last hour. Do not bring the last hour.” Resurrected humans and jinn, will be judged by Allah according to their deeds. One’s eternal destination depends on balance of good to bad deeds in life. They are either granted admission to Paradise, where they will enjoy spiritual and physical pleasures forever, or condemned to Hell to suffer spiritual and physical torment for eternity. Warriors who died fighting in the cause of Allah are ushered immediately to Allah’s presence, and the enemies of Islam are sentenced immediately to Hell. Pat Robertson, do you want to know the list of tortures in Hell? I extracted them from the verses of the Koran. They are:

1. Eternity in blazing fire.
2. Hung by the breasts.
3. Bound in yokes and chains.
4. Garments of liquid pitch and fire.
5. Faces covered in fire and lips burnt off.
6. Beating with maces of iron.
7. Fed painful, noxious, choking foods, which will leave them hungry and boil their insides.
8. Boiling water poured over one’s head and used to scald the skin and internal organs.
9. Extremely hot, and extremely cold, filthy fluids of pus and blood.
10.  Hot stones placed on the nipple that will burn through to the shoulder bone.
11. Dragged by the face through boiling water and fire.
12. Burning embers beneath the arches of the feet or shoes of fire that will cause one’s brain to boil.
13. Intestines will come out.
14. Exchangeable skins so that people can be roasted over and over again.

Summarizing Pat Robertson – a born  loser Pat Robertson is meant to be born loser. His striving goes astray in the present life, while he thinks that he is working good deeds. Pat Robertson strives in this world to gain wealth and fame. He does not see his work marred in any manner, therefore, he considers himself a successful man, but he is wrong. In the plan of Allah, the criteria of a successful life are in terms of the life of the Hereafter. Allah reveals His signs, but these signs do not appeal to those who are lost in the affairs of this world. Such people if they do not give any weight to Allah’s Word, how can they expect Allah’s mercy in the Day of Judgment? Allah will not assign any weight to false motives, pretense, deception, lying and hypocrisy. He conducts himself in life according to false concepts and he thinks he is doing what is right. Pat Robertson has such a smug sense of self-righteousness that while he goes on doing wrong, he thinks that he is acquiring merit. Let us look at the work he accomplished throughout his life and see whether it was honest for the sake of Allah and useful to his nation as he thought it was, or it was actually falsehood, ignorance and hypocrisy? The following summarizes Pat Robertson’s worthless deeds throughout his life:

1. Vice President George H. W. Bush had the support of President Ronald Reagan and pledged to continue Reagan’s policies, but also pledged a “kinder and gentler nation”. In an attempt to win over some, more moderate voters. Bush faced some prominent challengers for the GOP nomination, despite his front-runner status. At the start of the primary election season in early 1988, televangelist Pat Robertson‘s campaign was attacked because he started his campaign literature with a lie he had made about his military service. In his campaign literature, he stated he was a combat Marine who served in the Korean War. Other Marines in his battalion contradicted Robertson’s version, claiming he had never spent a day in a combat environment. They said that instead of fighting like a man, Robertson’s primary responsibility was supplying alcoholic beverages for his officers. They ascertained that he never had to dodge bullets in Korea because he had used his father’s influence as a Senator to escape front line duty.This shows that the man is a liar by nature. He does not mind deceiving his voters by pretending that he was a hero of war, while the fact was that he escaped any real encounter with the enemy by staying behind the line to entertain his officers by supplying them with alcoholic beverages!
2.  The 700 Club runs a charity called Operation Blessing which supposedly helps people in need in Third World countries. But it has been shown that Robertson uses it as a front group to push his own nefarious financial doings in Africa. One terrible example was in the mid 90’s when Robertson ran a telethon to pay for planes for Operation Blessing to remove refugees from camps in Rwanda. Instead, it was later discovered by a reporter from The Virginian-Pilot that Operation Blessing’s planes were transporting diamond-mining equipment for the Robertson-owned African Development Corporation, a venture Robertson had established in cooperation with Zaire’s then-dictator, Mobutu Sese Seko, whom Robertson had befriended earlier in 1993. According to Operation Blessing documents, Robertson personally owned the planes used for Operation Blessing airlifts.
3. The biggest scandal of all is the peculiar mixture of prophecy and politics professed by Pat Robertson. He thinks that God talks to him! The man is inspired and knows the unseen. None of his prophesies have come true. Some of his false prophesies were:

•  1980 would “be a year of sorrow and bloodshed that will have no end soon, for the world is being torn apart, and my [God’s, not Pat’s – at least we hope!] kingdom shall rise from the ruins of it.”
• The Great Tribulation would begin in October or November 1982, following an invasion of Israel by Russia.
• There would be a worldwide economic collapse in 1985.
• Pat Robertson prophesied that Mitt Romney would defeat President Obama. Not only did God inform Robertson that “Romney will win” but that he will be a two-term president who presides over a huge economic boom. Pat Robertson claimed that he was conveying God’s voice.

It is so sad to see a Christian leader making such false prophesies. This is what makes churchgoers lose faith in the Christian religion and mass exodus of young people from the church is frequently observed. 4- The way Pat Robertson attacks Islam is as if he were worshiping the true Creator while Muslims are heretics and people astray. However, the opposite is true. The Koran – the last divine revelation to mankind – clearly reveals that the Torah of Moses and the Gospel of Jesus were corrupted or distorted, a matter that necessitated the sending down of the Koran to correct this deviation. The Koran states that the Torah given to Moses, the Psalms given to David, and the Gospel given to Jesus, and the now unknown Scrolls of Abraham are genuine divine revelations brought by true Messengers to the Jews and the followers of Abraham. Belief in the divine inspiration of all of these books is one of the fundamental tenets of Islam. However, and according to the Koran, all the Books prior to the Koran have been corrupted by human hands. There have been additions to, and subtractions from the original texts. Muslims are therefore to get their guidance from the Koran. When the Qur’an speaks of the Gospel, it refers to an original divinely revealed Book that came to the Prophet Jesus Christ. It does not refer to any Gospel written by any of Jesus‘s disciples, such as the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and other lost Gospels such as that of Peter. Although Muslims believe that Jesus’ original Gospel has been corrupted and lost, they believe that hints of the message of the original Gospel are still evident in the traditional Gospels of Christianity. During the seventh century CE when Muhammad was sent, there were only a few groups of followers of the original teachings of Jesus. The Gospel revealed to Jesus no longer existed in any form, as was the case of the Torah of Moses before him. They were replaced with the Old and New Testaments written by different human authors selected and sanctioned as holy by the Church ecumenical councils, several centuries after the departure of Jesus. It was high time then to re-establish the eternal guidance of the Creator to all humanity, but this time in a final eternal form, through the Glorious Koran and the detailed teachings and living model of the Prophet Muhammad. Jesus prophesized the coming of prophet Muhammad whose universal message will stay forever: And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever (John 14:16). The Koran plainly emphasizes that both Jesus and Muhammad, as well as all true prophets from Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and many others carried essentially the same message: Islam, that is, monotheism and submission to the will and guidance of Allah. However, the details were not identical, but varied to cope with the time and nation addressed. While Jesus was sent specifically to the Israelites, Muhammad was sent to all humanity. This was emphasized by Jesus as well: “But he answered and said, ‘I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” (Matthew 15:24). In contrast, the Koran declares the universal Message of Islam: Say: “O mankind, surely I am the Messenger of Allah to you all, of Him to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no god but He. He gives life and makes to die. Believe then in Allah and in His Messenger, the illiterate Prophet who believes in Allah and His words, and follow him; haply so you will be guided (Al-A’raf 7:158) . And you do not ask them for a reward for this; it is nothing but a reminder for all mankind (Yusuf, 104). And We have not sent you but as a mercy to the worlds. (Al-Anbiyaa’, 107). Blessed be He Who has sent down the criterion upon His servant, that he may be a warner to all beings (Al-Furqan, 1). We have sent thee not, except to mankind entire, good tidings to bear, and warning;  but most men do not know it (Saba’, 28). While the original message of Jesus was distorted and deviated from monotheism, the message of Muhammad was to stay valid and preserved until the end of time. Allah guarded the Koran from corruption. We read in the Koran: It is We who have sent down the Reminder and We will , most surely, safeguard it. (Al-Hijr, 9). While Jesus’s emphasis was on moral salvation and reform of the individual, with only a few rulings on marriage and divorce, etc., the final message of Islam brought a detailed comprehensive code dealing with all aspects of human life. The question then arises: why Should Muhammad Come Six Centuries after Jesus? Jesus, a human monotheist prophet, repeatedly called to Allah the One God and warned those who ascribed partners to Him: “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and Him Only.” (Matthew 4:10). “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.’ (Mark 12:29). Jesus emphasized his own humanity: “As it is, you are determined to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God.” (John 8:40). “By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear.” (John 5:30). Jesus never claimed to be God, or part of a God. He never mentioned Trinity, nor did he appoint a church to entrust itself with reshaping the faith and re-inventing the law. The deviation started with Paul and some others—leaders, clergy, and philosophers—centuries after Jesus’s departure. Christianity as we know it today was re-formulated with its concepts of: – Trinity, centered around the prophet Jesus who was thenceforth called God, begotten son of God. – The sacrosanct Church of Christ, talking and enacting laws in the name of God. – The story of crucifixion and resurrection from the dead. – Original sin and atonement. Most of these distortions were borrowed or coined from earlier pagan creeds. Close similarities can be found between this Pauline Christianity and Mithraism, Buddhism, and ancient Egyptian polytheist creeds. Pat Robertson conducted himself in life according to false concepts and he thinks he is doing what is right. He denied Islam as a religion, humiliated the Koran and the Messenger of Islam and impudently offended Muslims around the world. In consequence, shall his hopes doomed to disappointment and his deeds to worthlessness and on the Day of Judgment shall his pleading be of no weight. What weight can be attached to work behind which the motives are not pure and positively evil? They are wasted and counted against him. The Koran says about people like him: Say: ‘Shall We tell you who will be the great losers in their works? Those whose striving goes astray in the present life, while they think they are working good deeds. These are they that disbelieve in the signs of their Lord and the encounter with Him; their works have failed, and on the Day of Resurrection, We shall not assign to them any weight. This is their recompense – Gehenna -for that they were unbelievers and took My signs and My Messengers in Mockery (Al-Kahf, 103-106). Ironically, the senseless preaching of Pat Robertson makes his listeners abandon Christianity and embrace Islam. A Christian American woman converted to Islam after listening to the preaching of Pat Robertson and his peer Jimmy Swaggart. Their senseless preaching made her embrace Islam! She said: “I have watched Pat Robertson on the 700 Club and I listened to televangelist Rev. Jimmy Swaggart. I watched programs on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. All the while hoping that one of the ministers would say something that would click in my mind, and I would finally know, ‘Yes, there really is God!’ None of them ever said anything that caused that connection to happen, though many said things that confused me even more. Earlier this year I began to listen to the apocalyptic ramblings of Christian radio’s ‘prophecy experts’. Their paranoid espousal of various conspiracy theories, rabid support of Israel and religious Zionism, and fiery preaching about the ‘Islamic threat’ held for me a strange fascination. Why? Well, I suppose it was simply the need I was feeling to fill the void within me. In any case, I soon found that the beliefs these evangelists held, such as infallibility of God’s word, and original sin was not in agreement with my theological ideas. I couldn’t understand how babies could be born with original sin? I began to look for something else to hold onto.” ( rationalwiki.org/wiki/Pat Robertson). The Myth of Christian Zionism Pat Robertson rabidly claims that he is a Christian Zionist. But what is Christian Zionism? It is simply that every action taken by Israel whether good or bad is divine! Israel’s actions should therefore be supported and praised by all people. It is perfectly accepted to give the green light to whatever Israel wants without exception.  Everything Israel does including lies, theft, and murder is justified as long as Israel wants it. This includes the invasion of Lebanon, which killed 100,000 Lebanese; murdering thousands of  the Palestinians in cold blood in Sabra and Shatila camps; bombing of a sovereign country such as Iraq; deliberate methodical brutalizing of the Palestinians; breaking bones; shooting the innocents; demolishing houses; steeling the Palestinian land and building Jewish settlements on it; the expulsion of Christian and Muslin Palestinians from a land they owned for over 200 years (5). Out of ignorance and hypocrisy, Pat Robertson declares himself a Christian Zionist. Pat Robertson founded the Christian coalition, a 1.7 million member Christian right organization that campaigns mostly for conservative candidates. The Christian coalition joined forces with Judaism claiming that Christianity is the heir to Biblical Judaism, and that the whole logic of Christianity as a religion is that it exists only as a religion built upon Judaism. Pat Robertson and the other televangelists always remind their followers with their Judeo-Christian heritage. They keep on telling their followers that their society is based on a supposed “Judeo-Christian tradition”. Pat Robertson declares that: “To be Christian is to be Jewish. It was the duty of a Christian to put support for the land of Israel above all else. After all, we worship the same God.” He keeps uttering the phrases: Judeo-Christian traditional values; Judeo-Christian political effort; Judeo-Christian theism; Judeo-Christian Republicans; Judeo-Christian lifestyle of Bible-believers. Pat Robertson and the other Christian preachers use the term ‘Judeo-Christian’ to cover up anti-Semitism sentiments. They aim to emphasize Christianity’s Biblical and Jewish origins through the use of the term, however, they omit ‘Judeo’ when speaking to Christians alone. This indicates the merely external usage of the term to hide racist attitudes against Jews. Pat Robertson although he continually preaches on “Judeo-Christian values,” he named his political organization the “Christian Coalition,” not the Judeo-Christian Coalition. The term Judeo-Christian is a myth and highly hypocritical because the Jews do not worship the Christ-God. The idea of a single Judeo-Christian tradition is an American invention for political reasons. Theologically and historically, there is no such thing as the Judeo-Christian tradition. It’s a secular myth favored by people who are not really believers themselves. The invented term “Judeo-Christian” is new; it first surfaced at the end of the 19th century but did not gain popular support until the 1940s, as part of an American reaction to Nazism. Since then, both Jewish and Christian scholars have come to recognize that Judaism and Christianity are different, even rival religions. Joshua Jehouda, a prominent French Jewish leader, observed in the late 1950s: “The current expression ‘Judeo-Christian’ is an error which has altered the course of universal history by the confusion it has sown in men’s minds. If the term Judeo-Christian does point to a common origin, there is no doubt that it is a most dangerous idea. It links in one breath two ideas which are completely irreconcilable, it seeks to demonstrate that there is no difference between day and night or hot and cold or black and white, and thus introduces a fatal element of confusion to a basis on which some, nevertheless, are endeavoring to construct a civilization.” (l’Antisemitisme Miroir du Monde pp. 135-6). But what is the Truth? Does Christianity have anything in common with Judaism? Reviewing the last two thousand years of Western Christian history there is really no evidence of a Judeo-Christian tradition. Evidently, the concept of a common Judeo-Christian tradition has more to do with post 1945 politics and a certain amount of ‘public relations’ than it does with historical and Biblical reality. Driven by political agendas compromising Jews and compromising Christians began, only in the 20^th century, to disseminate that Christianity originated from Judaism and that the two share a common worldview. Christianity and Judaism are two distinct religious inheritances, despite all the superficial attempts by modern scholars to manufacture a naive “Judeo-Christianity.” The very term “Judeo-Christian” is a mischievous misnomer without historical or Scriptural validity. Judeo-Christianity should be seen for what it is – another secular twentieth century fraud, manufactured for narrow political ends, that is supremely disrespectful to all true believers. Any fundamental unity that does exist between world religions cannot be appreciated by ignorant and secular scholarship, but only through knowledge of the great primordial and universal truths. In conclusion, there is simply no such thing as Judeo-Christian tradition. The two religions have had separate theological agendas for the last two thousand years (6). The label “Judeo-Christian” tends to assume, at the expense of Judaism, that Christians and Jews believe essentially the same things, besides glossing over the very real and important theological and liturgical differences; it tends to subsume Jewish traditions within an umbrella that is dominated by Christian ideas and practices (7). Judaism and Christianity are two incompatible entities. Far from sharing one tradition, Orthodox Jews are prohibited from marrying Christians, setting foot inside a Christian church – and they cannot even drink from an open bottle of kosher wine that has been used by a Christian. They reject the Christian idea of salvation, they abhor Christian divine teachings on every subject, and they are repulsed and outraged by incessant attempts by Christian missionaries to bring them into their fold. The belief that Christianity originated from Judaism is inaccurate since Christianity is more closely linked to paganism. An examination of Christian history fails to support the hypothesis that Christianity has its root s in Judaism. In fact, Christianity borrows more of its customs from paganism than from Judaism. Two of Christianity’s central holidays, Christmas and Easter have their roots in paganism. And Sunday worship is pagan not Jewish – even Jesus kept the Sabbath on the seventh day. The question remains, ‘Isn’t Christianity derived from the teachings of Jesus, who was Jewish?” No, Jesus never intended to start a new religion. Paul founded Christianity, using a mythical Jesus as a basis. It is Christendom’s attempt to assimilate Jews into the Christian beliefs and to justify Christianity’s own existence. By usurping the Torah into their scriptures, Christians have taken claim to the God of Abraham in order to justify their belief in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And Christians do this with extreme purpose to fulfill the prophesies of the Jewish scriptures. Prophesies that many Jews do not believe exist or have yet not fulfilled. If people need to link Christianity with its roots, then “Pagan-Christian” is the proper term. “Judeo-Christian” is false and misleading. While “Judeo-Christian” may be used to placate Jews, they should be aware that the use of the term does not include them. Judeo-Christian is a deviant phenomenon without a trace of commonality in traditional Jewish thought (8). Using Judeo-Christian term is apparently not based on Biblical basis but on political and interest means. There is in fact a vicious political agenda to be implemented. Pat Robertson continues to insist that the early American leaders were building the country on the principles of the Bible, but he seems to ignore Thomas Jefferson’s many opposing thoughts on the subject. Early American settlers left England ostensibly to escape religion persecution, but soon thought nothing of persecuting and killed others who did not share their inspired views, or who refused to convert to their stifling small-minded brand of religion. In earlier days, native Americans were deemed inhuman savages and were driven from their homes and killed without remorse. This Biblically-justified slaughter carried on for years later evolved into “manifest destiny,” the absurd belief that God commanded ‘white’ men to take over the entire continent from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Americans also found justification for slavery in the Bible! President George Bush the son thinks that he is inspired by God. He said, ‘I am driven with a mission from God’. God would tell me, ‘George go and fight these terrorists in Afghanistan’. And I did. And then God would tell me ‘George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq’. And I did.” There are several different definitions used by televangelists to describe Christian Zionism. The simplest definition is “Christian support for Zionism”. Christian Zionism is in fact a movement within Protestant Christianity that understands the modern state of Israel as the fulfilment of Biblical prophecy and thus deserving of political, financial and religious support. Christian Zionists support Israel based on Genesis 12:13, which states that God blesses those that bless Israel and curses those that curse them. Pat Robertson is a prominent Christian Zionist and dispensationalist. During the Six-day War in 1967, he was quoted as saying, “I knew that this had enormous significance, that we at CNB were linked with Israel.” Robertson has hosted many important guests on his show including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. During one particular interview with Netanyahu, Robertson asked him what he would like the show audience to do and Netanyahu replied that through the messages and letters that have been sent to representatives, they were already doing what was needed. In August 1991 Robertson stated on his show that, “We will never have peace until the mount of the House of the Lord is restored.” Another prominent Christian Zionist and dispensationalist is John Hagee. He is the author of bestselling books that have sold millions. Hagee released the book, ‘Attack on America’ in which he goes after the Muslim claims to the temple Mount by falsely pointing out that the Koran never mentions Jerusalem and that there is no historical evidence that Muhammad ever visited the city. Hagee spends the large portion of the book arguing that peace is not possible with the Palestinians and that Islam is also incompatible with peace! Christian Zionism is one of the most influential forces in American politics today and its leaders have had, and continue to have significant access to high-ranking officials in both the United states and Israel. Moreover, many high-ranking officials in the U.S. are themselves Christian Zionists. Christian Zionism has also had a strong influence on many members of Congress, as well as on other prominent political figures. The myth of dispensationalism Pat Robertson is a dispensationalist. But before talking about the relationship of Pat Robertson with dispensationalism, it is important to explain in short what dispensationalism is. Dispensationalism and the belief in a secret rapture did not exist prior to 1830s. The doctrine of a secret “rapture” was invented by John Nelson Darby (1800-1882) of the Plymouth Brethren in 1827. In this same year, Darby fell from a horse and was seriously injured and consequently suffered from a severe trauma. The medical definition of trauma is: a disordered psychic or behavioral state resulting from mental or emotional stress or physical injury. Trauma creates a loss of faith that there is any safety, predictability, or meaning in the world, or any safe place in which to retreat. It involves utter disillusionment. Because traumatic events are often unable to be processed by the mind and body as other experiences are, due to their overwhelming and shocking nature, they are not integrated or digested. The trauma then takes on a life of its own and, through its continued effects, haunts the survivor and prevents normal life from continuing until the person gets help. John Darby still suffering from trauma, later stated that it was during this time that he recognized that the “kingdom” described in the Book of Isaiah and elsewhere in the Old Testament was entirely different from the Christian church. It seems clear that his ideas were developed in reaction to his disillusionment with the Church of Ireland. Based on his study of Isaiah, 32, Darby came to believe in a future salvation and restoration of national Israel. Darby concluded that Israel, in a future dispensation, would enjoy earthly blessings that were different from the church. Darby also came to believe in an “any moment” rapture of the church that was followed by Daniel’s Seventieth Week in which Israel once gain take center stage in God’s plan. After this period, Darby believed there would be a millennial kingdom in which God will fulfill His unconditional promises with Israel. Darby advanced the scheme of dispensationalism by noting that each dispensation places man under some condition; man has some responsibility before God. Darby also noted that each dispensation culminates in failure. Darby saw seven dispensations ;(1) paradisiacal state to the Flood; (2) Noah; (3) Abraham; (4) Israel; (5) gentiles; (6) The Spirit; and (7) The millennium. By his own testimony, Darby says his dispensational theology was fully formed by 1833. Darby’s teaching was immediately challenged as unbiblical by other members of the Brethren. Samuel P. Tregelles, a noted biblical scholar, rejected Darby’s new interpretation as the “height of speculative nonsense.” So tenuous was Darby’s rapture theory that he had lingering doubts about it as late as 1843, and possibly 1845. Another member of the Plymouth Brethren, B.W. Newton, disputed Darby’s new doctrine claiming such a conclusion was only possible if one declared certain passages to be “renounced as not properly ours.” In point of fact, dispensationalism is a dangerous corruption of Scripture. All the Protestant reformers except Calvin regarded apocalyptic millennialism to be heresy.” Christian Zionism was also popularized by the 19^th century American Cyrus Scofield when he wrote into a Bible his interpretation of events in history. These events all centered around Israel – past, present and future. His Scofield Bible is today the most popular of the reference Bibles. It seems that the Christians insist on deliberately corrupting their Gospel now and then by adding superstitions emanating from the sick minds of their scholars. Scofield said that Christ couldn’t return to earth until certain events occur: the Jews must return to Palestine, gain control of Jerusalem and rebuild a temple, and then we all must engage in the final, great battle called Armageddon. Now, most students of Armageddon theology agree that as a result of these recent interpretations of Biblical scripture, 10 to 40 million Americans believe Palestine is God’s chosen land for the Jews. Christians in their churches were urged by their pastors to donate handsomely to Israel in order to be on “God’s side” and not to feel any remorse for the Arabs who are not the Children of “Promise”. A foolish erroneous statement characterized by utter racism, brutality and savagery. A gaggle of Biblical forces so stinging against the Arabs as to consider Prophet Ishmael, the older son of the father of the Prophets Abraham, being called a bastard, his mother Hagar a whore and bondwoman and other horrific and despicable charges. In their view, Muslims of course are the forerunners or helpmates of the Anti-Christ! Many of them have even geared their books to include an apocalyptic show down with the Muslim countries allied with the Anti-Christ. Christian Zionism was then used as a tool to force support for Israel, to uphold the Israel lobby in the U.S. and tell people that their tithes were going to “God’s Chosen and Remnant in the Last Days.” Jews in Israel looked on mirthfully as Pat Robertson and other Christian Zionists rushed to them, stretched their hands in a sincere handshake, and said that they would do anything to “protect God’s people and help them against Arab foe.” Consequently, we can see now in America this strange alliance, the Israeli Likud settler lobby gets money, guns and political cover.  In exchange millions of born again “rapture” evangelicals gain fulfilment, believing that they are helping God to end the world during their lifetimes and thereby will get a quick pass to heaven “without dying” (no accountability, no judgment day). Oh, and with the death of all Jews (and the rest of the human race) who do not convert to their faith. The Book of Revelations in the Bible, upon which they build their scenario, is also very controversial.  It was made scripture three centuries after the death of Christ. Traditionally attributed to St. John, most Biblical scholars now recognize its literary style and its theology has little in common with John’s gospel or his epistles and was likely written after his death. Martin Luther found the vindictive God of Revelations incompatible with the gospels and relegated it to the appendix of his German translation of the New Testament instead of the body of scripture (9). Dispensationalists believe that the “true” believers will be swept away instantly, at an unknown time, and be taken straight to heaven. This event, referred to as the “rapture”, will occur either prior to the beginning of the 7 years of tribulation described in the Book of Revelation, or half way through it. During the Great Tribulation, there will be many plagues, wars, and other disasters. It is during this time that they believe the Antichrist will emerge and become the most powerful man on earth. The Jews are central to this interpretation of prophecy. It is believed that 144,000 Jews (12,000 from the 12 original tribes) will instantly accept Jesus following the rapture. It is also believed that the Temple must be rebuilt in order to be desecrated before Jesus can return. Jesus will then return bodily in full power to rule mankind with a rod of iron. He will “rapture” – a word not find in the Bible – every Christian into heaven. Then Christ will return to fight the forces of evil in the Battle of “Armageddon” which will result in the 1,000 reign of Christ on earth. There are approximately 20 million Americans who believe that they may share this experience. It all depends on timing. If the State of Israel is drawing close to its tribulation period, then those Christians who are alive exactly 42 months before Israel’s Great Tribulation begins will escape death! Non-Christians will be left behind. They will not avoid death. Ever since the creation of Israel in 1948, Christian Zionists and despensationalists have lost their reticence in dating the end of the Church age. They have rejoiced in the presumably fast-approaching fulfillment of Bible prophecy during which, in Scofield’s words. “The people of God who will have returned to Palestine in unbelief.” Why such rejoicing? Because, if a Christian can make it to the day, exactly three and a half years before this fulfillment takes place, he will not suffer death! Nothing will be done by Christians to save Israel’s Jews from this disaster, for all the Christians will have been removed from this world three and a half years prior to the beginning of this 42-month period of tribulation. The only Christians present at the time will be recent converts to the faith, who had been left behind as non-believers at the time of the Rapture. Therefore, in order for most of today’s Christians to escape physical death, two-thirds of the Jews in Israel must perish, soon. This is the grim prophetic trade-off that despensationalists and Christian Zionists rarely discuss publicly, but which is the central motivation in the movement’s political support for the State of Israel. It should be clear why the Christian Zionists believe that Israel must be defended at all costs by the West. If Israel were removed militarily from history prior to the rapture, then the strongest case for Christians’ imminent escape from death would have to be abandoned. This would mean indefinite delay of the Rapture. Every time we hear the phrase, “Jesus is coming back soon,” we should mentally add, “and two thirds of the Jews of Israel will be dead.” The Christian Zionists really do believe that they probably will not die physically, but to secure this faith prophetically, they must accept the doctrine of an inevitable future holocaust. This specific motivation for the support of Israel is never preached as such from any Christian Zionist pulpit. The faithful hear sermons on the Great Tribulation, and on the pre-Tribulation Rapture, but they do not hear the two themes put together: “We can avoid death, but only because two-thirds of the Jews of Israel will inevitably die in a future holocaust. America must therefore support Israel in order to keep the Israelis alive until after the Rapture.” Of course, it would be politically incorrect to add up these figures in public. The Christian Zionists and despensationalists generally say they appreciate Jews. They think that Israel is far superior to Arab nations. They believe in a pro-Israel foreign policy as supportive of democracy and America’s interests. They do not talk much about the prophetic fate of Israel’s Jews. Nevertheless, this is the bottom line: the prophetic scapegoating of Israel. The survival of Israel is mandatory for its role as national sacrifice for Christianity, as Christin Zionists perceive Christianity. Millions of Jews must die in horror in order that Christians may avoid death (10). How does Muslims fit into all this? Christian Zionist support for the state of Israel has had a major impact on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. They advocate for the removal of all Arabs from the West Bank and the destruction of the two mosques that currently reside in the Temple Mount. Many of these Christian Zionists do not believe peace is possible between the Palestinians and the Israelis and have played a role in the demonization of Muslims everywhere. It is therefore impossible to fully understand America’s foreign policy in the Middle East without acknowledging the significance of Christian Zionism. The message of the Christian Zionists is always the same – “there is no such thing as moderate Islam because Islam is inherently violent, and the only reason there are moderate Muslims is because they are not good Muslims. They also claim that the terrorists are the only “true” Muslims because they are just doing what the Koran tells them to.” This is the same message we hear from so – called “experts” on Fox News, talk radio, and from fundamentalist preachers. These Christian dispensationalists spread many conspiracy theories against the United Nations, Islam, and any groups seeking peace in the Middle East. They believe that the modern state of Israel is key to all of this. They claim to love and support Israel, but many of their beliefs are borderline anti-Semitic. They believe that many Jews will be slaughtered and the only ones that will be saved are the supposed 144,000 (12,000 from the original 12 tribes of the Hebrew Bible) that will instantly convert. This, along with the desecration of the Temple demonstrates that the Jewish people are only seen as a pawn in God’s game. None of this is actually laid out in the Bible; it is simply made up by a group of “prophecy experts” who read modern events into the Bible. In fact, the majority of Christians worldwide do not believe in this interpretation. The Christian dispensationalists think that they can push Allah’s will by influencing world’s events and hasten the end times! If a true and lasting peace is achieved, it will mean that their entire belief system is false. If Christians, Muslims and Jews learn to exist peacefully, it will also mean the end of their entire industry of books, films, and lectures. They will have to find new careers. Christian Zionism creates several problems for the international committee. It creates a situation in which Israel is judged by a different standard than the rest of the international community, and it plays a major role in demonizing the religion of Islam as well as the Palestinian people. Many Evangelicals unabashedly provided a theological justification for Zionism, granting divine sanctions to and even glorifying the violence of Israel against the Palestinians. The government of Israel, just like the government of any other nation, is fallible and can make mistakes. The notion put forward by many evangelicals that Israel can do no wrong because the Jews are Allah’s chosen people is troublesome. Israel should be held to the same standards as any other member of the international community. Nearly every Evangelical supporter of Israel believes that the Jews were given eternal possession of the land by God and that it is the goal of Muslims to sabotage that special privilege. The views of many Christian Zionists including Pat Robertson, John Hagee, and Franklin Graham, with regards to Muslims only exacerbates the divide between the west and the Muslim world especially if their views influence the foreign policy of the U.S. government. There is no denying that there is a direct link between this movement and the rise of Islamophobia in America, and the hatred Muslims feel towards America. Are the Jews infallible because they are Allah’s chosen people? Pat Robertson and most of the Evangelicals claim that Israel can do no wrong because the Jews are Allah’s chosen people. In the Koran, Allah asserted that he chose the Children of Israel and favored them above all nations. The Koran states: Children of Israel, remember My blessing wherewith I blessed you, and that I have preferred you above all beings (Al-Baarah, 47). The Children of Israel were chosen by Allah. He selected them for a special task: they were to receive Allah’s Scriptures and pass His commandments on to the rest of mankind.  In relation to this office, they were granted many other blessings and facilities: victory over their enemies, forgiveness of their sins, special help in times of peril, divine provision for their physical needs, and so on. This misled later generations of Jews to think that they were Allah’s chosen people, and were assured of salvation in the next world. But the Children of Israel rebelled against Moses, and they slew their prophets, and rejected the signs of their Lord, and falsified their Scripture and turned their backs on righteousness. The iniquities and sins of the Children of Israel were mentioned in the Koran in several verses. Among which are: And for those who were Jews We prohibited what We have related to you already, and We did them no injustice, but they were unjust to themselves (Al-Nahl, 118). Wherefore for the iniquity of those who are Jews did We disallow to them the good things which had been made lawful for them and for their hindering many (people) from Allah’s way (Al-Nisa’, 160). And to those who were Jews We made unlawful every animal having claws, and of oxen and sheep We made unlawful to them the fat of both, except such as was on their backs or the entrails or what was mixed with bones: this was a punishment We gave them on account of their rebellion, and We are surely Truthful (Al-An’am, 146). O children of Israel! call to mind My favor which I bestowed on you and be faithful to (your) covenant with Me, I will fulfill (My) covenant with you; and of Me, Me alone, should you be afraid.” (Al-Baqarah, 40). “And when We made a covenant with the children of Israel: You shall not serve any but Allah and (you shall do) good to (your) parents, and to the near of kin and to the orphans and the needy, and you shall speak to men good words and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate. Then you turned back except a few of you and (now too) you turn aside Al-Baqarah, 83). “And they say: Our hearts are covered. Nay, Allah has cursed them on account of their unbelief; so little it is that they believe (Al-Baqarah, 82). And there is a sect of them twist their tongues with the Book, that you may suppose it part of the Book, yet it is not part of the Book; and they say, ’It is from God,’ yet it is not from God, and they speak falsehood against God, and that wittingly (Al-Imran, 78). The Children of Israel were selected by Allah to perform a very important task: they were to call other nations to turn to Allah, impressing on them the fact that they were answerable to their Lord for their actions. Allah sent innumerable Prophets from among them to guide them in the performance of this task. Over the centuries however, the community of the Children of Israel breached their covenant with Allah and began to degenerate. They took their privileged position, which was in fact due solely to the holy task that had been entrusted to them, to be an indication of ethnic superiority. They thus lost their right to be representatives of divine religion on earth. The coming of the Arab Prophet signified the replacement of the Children of Israel by the children of Ishmael as Allah’s chosen people: it was they who were chosen to carry on the task of communicating Allah’s words to other nations of the world. Those among the Children of Israel who were truly god-fearing soon realized that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad came to him from Allah. They recognized that the word he preached emanated from the same source that has inspired the prophets before him. Those who denied him were acting solely out of prejudice: they refused to accept that any other nation besides their own could have been selected to spread Allah’s Message to the whole world. They refused to accept that any other nation besides their own could have been showered by Allah’s favor, and carry on the divine task. Allah, he Knower of the unseen, knew that the Children of Israel will break their covenant with Him. When Abraham was tried by Allah with certain commands, which he fulfilled (he purified the Ka’ba, Allah’s House; he built the sacred refuge of the Ka’ba; he was about to sacrifice his older son Ishmael – not Isaak – for the sake of Allah; he submitted his will to Allah’s will in Islam), Allah promised him the leadership of religion. Abraham pleaded that this blessing be also showered on his progeny. His prayer was granted with the limitation that if his progeny was false to Allah, Allah’s promise will not reach the people who proved themselves false. The Koran states: And remember when the Lord of Abraham tried him with certain commands which he fulfilled. He (Allah) said (to him): ‘I am going to make you a leader for the people (to follow you).’ (Abraham) said, ‘And my offspring (to be leaders after him)’, (Allah) said, ‘My covenant (prophethood) includes not the evildoers.’ (Al-Baqarah, 124). The Arab Prophet warned the Jews, the Christians and the entire world that in the next world value will be attached solely to true faith borne out by earnest actions. In this world, one person is able to bear the burden of another; sometimes intercession is accepted; sometimes one can free oneself by giving compensation. In the next world however, none of these mitigating factors will be allowed to come into play. There, Allah’s justice will apply to everyone equally, for no ethnic group Jews, Christians, etc., holds a monopoly over the next world. The corruption of the Children of Israel occurred after the advent of Moses. This happened in two stages. The details of the first corruption are found in the Old Testament Books of Psalms, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel. The details of the second corruption are found in the words of Jesus in the New Testament in the Gospels of Mathew and Luke. The Children of Israel at the time of Moses often rebelled against him, vexed his spirit, and insulted him (see Old Testament – Num xii. 1-13). They did it not through arrogance, but from a selfish, perverse and rebellious spirit, for which received punishment. The Koran says: And when Moses said to his people, ‘O my people, why do you hurt me, though you know I am the Messenger of Allah to you?’ When they swerved, Allah caused their hearts to swerve; and Allah guides never the people of the ungodly (Al-Saff, 5). The Children of Israel were chosen as special vehicles for Allah’s Message early in history. When their descendants corrupted the Message and became guilty of all abominations against which prophets like Isaiah inveighed with such zeal and fire, they merely became like a donkey carrying a load of books that carry learning and wisdom on its back but do not understand or profit by it. An arrogant claim to be a chosen people, to be the exclusive possessors of divine teaching, to be exempt from any punishment for breaches of the divine Law, is presumptuous blasphemy. If they claimed to be special friends of Allah, why they not eagerly desire death, which would bring them nearer to Allah? But of all people they are the most tenacious of this life. But never will they express their desire for death because of the bad deeds their hands have sent forward. The Koran says: The likeness of those who have been loaded with the Torah, then they have not carried it, is as the likeness of an ass carrying books. Evil is the likeness of the people who have cried lies to Allah’s signs. Allah guides never the people of the evildoers. Say: ‘You who are Jews, if you assert that you are the friends of Allah, apart from other men, then long for death if you speak truly.’ But they will never long for it because of that their hands have forwarded; Allah knows the evildoers. Say: ‘Surely death from which you flee, shall encounter you; then you shall be returned to the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, and He will tell you that you have been doing (Al-Jumu’ah 5-8). Due to their transgression, Allah sent against them servants of His, of great might, who ravaged their homes. The Jewish synagogue, built by Solomon in 957 BC, was razed to the ground in 586 BC by the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar II. After a long period, the Jews rebuilt their place of worship. The Roman Emperor Titus again reduced this to ruins in AD 70. This history is a manifestation of Allah’s Law, which lays down that if a community entrusted with the Holy Scriptures obeys the commands given to them, then it is given a high status in this world, as well as success in the Hereafter. If it fails to do so, it is made subject to oppressive communities, which make it a victim of their tyranny and exploitation. The manifestation of this Law has occurred again and again in the case of former bearers of the Scriptures. Two important events must be referred to here so that a lesson may be taken from them. In the beginning Allah blessed the children of Israel and delivered them from the Pharaoh’s tyranny and permitted them to occupy Palestine and establish their rule there. But then corruption set in among the Jews. They started engaging in polytheistic practices, became the victims of differences and schisms, and separated into different sects. As a result of this repeated disobedience to Allah, the Children of Israel had to submit to Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, who established his dominion over Palestine. Thereafter, he chose a member of the royal family of the Jews and appointed him as his representative to rule over them. But, the Jews, considering this subordinate state damaging to their national pride, rebelled against it. This was despite being advised against rebellion by one of their prophets, Jeremiah. The king of Babylon became so incensed that once again, in 486 B.C., he attacked Palestine with all his military might. The Jews were not only defeated, but their temple in Jerusalem, which was the last sign of their glory, was also completely demolished. Various calamities forced the Children of Israel to turn back to Allah once again. They were then given divine assistance through the agency of Cyrus, the king of Persia who attacked and captured Babylon in 539 B.C., having defeated its ruler. Cyrus showed his favor to the Jews by allowing them to leave Babylon and return to their native place, Palestine. There, after a long time, they constructed their temple once again. However, the corruption, which had prevailed in the previous generation of the Jews, began to set in in the new generation also. In the meantime, they faced many vicissitudes. Their own prophets, John the Baptist and Jesus, who rose from among them, criticized their behavior, revealing the irreligiousness they indulged in in the name of religion. This enraged the Jews. They went so far as to kill John the Baptist and were prepared to crucify Jesus. Then the wrath of Allah descended upon them once again. In the year 70 A.C., the Roman king Titus, attacked Jerusalem and destroyed it completely. The Jews recognize these events as part of their history, but when they mention these historical facts, they attribute them to the oppression of tyrants. But we must not forgive the burning words of prophets while warning the Children of Israel of Allah’s wrath if they do not follow the injunctions of the Torah (Isaiah, chap. xxiv.; Isaiah v. 20-30; Isaiah iii. 16-26). Moses predicted the corruption of the Law (Bible) after his death.  The Book of Jeremiah which came approximately 826 years after Moses did indeed confirm this corruption. Moses said to them: “And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites(Jews), which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. For I know thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck; behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the LORD; and how much more after my death? Gather unto me all the elders of your tribes, and your officers, that I may speak these words in their ears, and call heaven and earth to record against them. For I know that after my death ye will become utterly corrupt, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.”  (Deuteronomy 31:25-29). Jeremiah said to them: “How can you say, ‘We [The Jews] are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us’? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.”   (From the RSV Bible, Jeremiah 8:8). Jesus said to them: “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.”  (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 23:37). The iniquities of the Jews can also be found in (Mat. 3:1-12; Acts 10:34-35; Rev. 2:8-9; 3:7-9). The Koran said about them: Cursed were the unbelievers of the Children of Israel by the tongue of David, and Jesus, Mary’s son, that, for their rebelling and their transgression (Al-Maidah, 78). “But on account of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard; they altered the words from their places and they neglected a portion of what they were reminded of; and you shall always discover treachery in them excepting a few of them; so pardon them and turn away; surely Allah loves those who do good (to others) (Al-Maidah, 13). Those who disbelieved from among the children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of Dawood and Isa, son of Marium; this was because they disobeyed and used to exceed the limit (Al-Maidah, 78). Therefore, the two incidents of demolishing the Temple of Solomon were not due to the tyranny of Nebuchadnezzar or Titus as the Jews claim, but were due to their disobedience to Allah, and for breaching their covenant with Him several times. The Koran very clearly attributes the two incidences to the behavior of the Jews themselves. We read in the Koran: And We decreed for the Children of Israel in the Book: ‘you shall do corruption in the earth twice, and you shall ascend exceedingly high.’ So, when the promise of the first of these came to pass, We sent against you servants of Ours, men of great might, and they went through the habitations, and it was a promise performed. Then we gave back to you the turn to prevail over them, and We succored you with wealth and children, and We made you a great host. ‘If you do good, you do good for your own selves, and if you do evil you do it against yourselves.’ Then when the promise of the second came to pass, We sent against you Our servants to discountenance you, and to enter the temple as they entered it first time, and to destroy utterly that which they ascended to; but if you return, We shall return; and We have made Hell a prison for the unbelievers (Al-Isra’ 4-8). Now we come to the time of Prophet Muhammad. In spite of all the wrongdoings the Jews made in the past, they could still have obtained Allah’s forgiveness if they had not obstinately rejected the greatest of the prophets also. If they were to continue in their sins, Allah’s punishment would also continue to visit them. This is why Allah said in the previous verses, “but if you return, We shall return.” The Jews are still making corruption in the land. Israel’s current treatment of the Palestinian people today is very closely reminiscent to Nazi Germany’s treatment of Jews in the 40’s. Since the initiation of Israel in 1948, and the Palestinians are being treated by the Israelis like cattle. Israel demolishes their homes, confiscates their land and builds Jewish settlements on it. Israel is torturing Palestinian children, with reported cases of public caging as well as threats and acts of sexual violence. The Israeli brutal massacres against the Palestinians, the ongoing torture of thousands of prisoners, the use of assassination of political enemies, the bombing of refugee camps, and the expansive wars launched by the Israelis against their Arab neighbors are oppressive crimes opposed and rejected by the international community. Based on the above, how can a Christian still believe that Allah has still claimed the Nation of Israel as His “chosen people”? It makes no Biblical sense. The Koran testifies that Allah had chosen the children of Israel over all other people but only at their time. There are many Koranic verses in this regard. However, they were not chosen for their race or color, but it was due to the great number of Prophets, that were sent to them. It is confirmed that the Prophet  said: “The children of Israel were governed by Prophets, every time a Prophet dies, another Prophet would come to them.” (Muslim). Allah says in the Koran: And when Moses said to his people, “O my people, remember the favor of Allah upon you when He appointed among you Prophets and made you kings and gave you that which He had not given anyone among the worlds (Al-Maidah, 20). The Koran also says: And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds (Ad-Dukhan, 32). Yet, they were ungrateful for this bounty and denied what the Prophets, brought to them. Thus, they deserved Allah’s Wrath and Curse. They have been put under humiliation by Allah except for a covenant from Allah and a treaty from the people. To conclude, the Jews were preferred over other people at the time of their Prophets, as they sometimes obeyed them, but most of the time they belied them and even killed them. The Koran states: And We gave to Moses the Book, and after him sent succeeding Messengers; and We gave Jesus son of Mary the clear signs, and confirmed him with the Holy Spirit; so how is it that, whenever there came to you a Messenger with that your souls had not desire for, you become arrogant, calling some imposters and killing others? (Al-Baqarah, 87). And when they were told, ‘Believe in that Allah has sent down’ (the Koran), they said, ‘We believe in what has been sent down on us’; and they disbelieve in what is beyond that (the Koran), yet it is the truth confirming what is with them. Say, ‘Why then were you slaying the Prophets of Allah in former time, if you were believers (Al-Baqarah, 91). The Jews disbelieved in Jesus and tried to kill him. The Jews were no better with Muhammad the seal of the Prophets than they were with the previous prophets; rather they belied him, slandered him, harmed him and even plotted to kill him. They disbelieve any references made to him in the Torah. Due to the continuous disobedience of the Jews to their Lord, Allah decided to end His Revelations with the Arabs, the other part of the Middle Eastern society that has not been polluted and unhampered by the burden of age-old prejudices. People shall deserve Allah’s pleasure so long as they strongly adhere to His path of rectitude, and no sooner do they change their disposition than they no longer qualify. Jews as the chosen people were then replaced by the Muslim nation because tMuslims enjoin equity, and they recourse to the principles of justice, and they forbid all that is wrongful and obscene, and they worship Allah the One and only God of the universe by conforming their will to His will. Allah says in the Koran: You are the best nation ever brought forth to men, bidding to honor, and forbidding dishonor, and believing in Allah. Had the people of the Book (Jews and Christians) believed, it was better for them; some of them are believers, but the most of them are ungodly (Al-Imran 110). The religion of Islam is a sober practical religion; its mission is to curb the extreme formalism of the Mosaic Law and the fabrication the Christians added to the monotheistic religion of Jesus, i.e. original sin, vicarious atonement, crucifixion, worshipping Jesus the son of Mary as God or the son of God, the false concept of the Trinity as professed by Christianity. Allah has made the nation of Islam as a witness over all other nations. The witness must be unselfish, equipped with first-hand knowledge and ready to intervene in the cause of justice. Such is the position claimed by Islam among rival systems. Similarly, within Islam itself the position of witness to whom disputants can appeal is held by Muhammad, the Prophet of Islam peace be upon him. Allah says in the Koran: Thus We appointed you a middle nation that you might be witnesses to the people, and that the Messenger might be a witness to you (Al-Baqarah, 143). Allah invited the Jews and the Christians to Islam, the true and only religion Allah will accept from his servants on the Day of Judgment. “O you who have been given the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Believe in what We have revealed (to Muhammad) confirming what is (already) with you…” (Al-Nisa’, 46). There is a difference of opinion about chosen people among the Jews and Muslims. The Jews declare that they are the chosen people and Muslims say that the promise was with the progeny of Abraham and not of Isaac and it was conditional upon righteousness. Now anybody with open eyes can see that 5000 years after Abraham, the land promised by God in the Bible ” from Lebanon to wilderness and from Euphrates to Egypt ” has been given to the progeny of Ishmael ever since a prophet came to them, 1400 years ago. And despite several attempts in the name of crusades, colonization and war on terror could not dislodge Muslims, the progeny of Ishmael from their promised land. The Koran clearly states that the Jews failed to keep their covenant with Allah. From Islam’s point of view the Jews fell from grace.  In the Torah (and the Bible) we find the following passage. For you are a people holy to the Lord your God.  The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.  It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the Lord set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples: But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers… ‘‘ (Deutoronomy 6: 7-8) However in the Quran, the words of Allah, revealed more than 650 years after the birth of Jesus, son of Mary, we find a very different set of circumstances. “…they disobeyed (Allah and the Messengers) and were ever transgressing beyond bounds. They used not to prevent one another from wrongdoing (sins, polytheism, and disbelief) that they did. Vile indeed was what they used to do” (Al-Maidah, 78, 79). Could salvation in Christianity be attained through this comical play of Zionist Christianity and Dispensationalism? These Christian Zionists do not know what true salvation is. In Islam, and in all previous religions, salvation is attained through the worship of Allah (God) alone. There is only one worthy of worship – One God without partners, sons or daughters. Salvation and thus eternal happiness can be achieved by sincere worship of the One God and follow His commandments. This is the same Message taught by all the Prophets including Abraham, Moses and Jesus. In addition to this, Islam teaches that human beings are born without sin and are naturally inclined to worship Allah alone without any intermediaries. Humankind must only follow Allah’s commandments and strive to live a righteous life. If one falls into sin, all that is required is sincere repentance followed by seeking Allah’s forgiveness. But forgiveness will never be granted to polytheists associating with Allah other partners. The Koran emphasizes that Allah forgives all sins except associating with Him partners. The Christians of today however, associate Jesus with Allah in worship and consider him God or the son of God! Whenever a person commits a sin, he alone is responsible for his or her own actions. Consequently, no human being is responsible for the mistakes made by Adam and Eve. We read in the Koran: And no bearer of burdens shall bear another’s burden (Fatir, 18). The concept of vicarious atonement does not exist in Islam; it is rather rejected and repudiated. In Islam, the doctrine of personal responsibility is emphasized. Man is fully responsible for his actions and deeds. He cannot transfer the consequences of his sins to someone else. Nor can anyone vicariously atone for his sins. The doctrine of personal responsibility is so old that it was mentioned in the ancient Books of Abraham and Moses namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; that man can have nothing but what he strives for; that the fruit of his striving is seen by Allah, then he will be rewarded a reward complete according to his deeds whether good or bad. We read in the Koran Hast thou considered him who turns his back and gives a little, then later held back? Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? That no soul laden bears the load of another, and that a man shall have to his account only as he has labored, and that his laboring shall surely be seen, then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, and that the final end is unto thy Lord (An-Najm, 33-42). The Koran also says: Say: ‘Shall I seek after a Lord other than Allah, who is the Lord of all things?’ Every soul earns only to its own account; no soul laden bears the load of another. Then to your Lord shall you return, and he will tell you of that whereon you were at variance (Al-An’am, 164). People are therefore responsible for their own souls. If the others go astray, they cannot hurt them, as long as they are guided. Whoever accepts guidance does so for his own good; whoever strays does so at his own peril. No soul will bear another’s burden, nor do We punish until We have sent a messenger (Al-Isra’, 15). What is the matter with those calling themselves dispensationalists? How do they judge? Will they not reflect? They have no clear authority of what they claim.  Satanic inducements, together with erroneous interpretation of the Bible made by human beings distorted the facts. They follow nothing but conjecture and what their own selves desire. They must understand that every man shall be pledged for what he earned. Providing this baseless assertions is a crime and those who do so shall be held accountable for their utterances on the Day of Judgment. The day will come when the dispensationalists and the Christian Zionists who believe in such superstitions will suffer the consequence of their own folly. The Koran states: Perish the conjecturers who are dazed in perplexity asking when shall be the Day of Doom? Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten (Al-Dhariyat 10-14). Are these Christian Zionists trying to teach Allah what his religion is, and He knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth? Do they interfere with Allah’s will and tell Him what he knows not in the earth or in the heaven? Are these people trying to hasten the will of Allah? Those who think in such defective way are surely unaware of Allah’s attributes. Allah is not a human being. The attributes of Allah are different from anything we know in our present world. He lives but His life is self-subsisting and eternal. His life does not depend upon other beings and is not limited to time and space. Perhaps the attribute of self-subsisting includes not only the idea of self-subsisting but also the idea of keeping up and maintaining all life. Allah’s life is the source and constant support of all derived forms of life. The death which the Christian Zionists try to flee shall confront them, then they shall be conveyed back to Allah who knows the secret feelings and thoughts, the hidden from sight, the invisible and the Unseen, and all that is concealed, and He knows the openly avowed and the openly disclosed. The Koran says: Say: ‘Surely death, from which you flee, shall encounter you; then you shall be returned to the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, and He will tell you that you have been doing )Al-Gom’ah, 8). Allah’s life is Absolute and free from any need or contingency, for it is supreme above anything we can conceive. Everything is His, how can any creature stands before Him as of right, and claims that he knows the unseen? Allah’s knowledge and ours are in different categories, and our knowledge only gets some reflection of reality when it accords with His will and plan (13). Allah describes himself in the Koran: Allah, there is no god but He, the Living, the Everlasting. Slumber seizes Him not, neither sleep; to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. Who is there that shall intercede with Him save by His leave? He knows what lies before them and what is after them, and they comprehend nothing of His knowledge save such as He wills. His Throne comprises the heavens and earth; the preserving of them oppresses Him not; He is the All-High, the All-Glorious (Al-Baqarah, 255). Allah has no need for rest or sleep. His activity like His life is perfect and self-subsisting. Contrast with this the expression used in Psalms Lxxviii. 65: ‘Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine.’ His, is all that the heavens and the earth contain. To Allah shall all things return. Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth belong to Allah. Allah has supreme knowledge of all things, of all thoughts, and all motives. To Allah belongs all that the heavens and earth contain. Allah has knowledge of all things. The knower of the unseen and the visible, He is the Wise, the well acquainted with all things. Allah has knowledge of all that we hide and all that we reveal. He knows what the Christian Zionists do, and what they do is evil because they interfere in Allah’s will. To interfere in Allah’s will is the greatest of all transgressions. To Allah, and to Him alone, belong the knowledge of all that is unknown, invisible and unseen in the heavens and the earth. Allah the Omniscient of the invisible and the unknown, nothing escape His vigilance neither in the heavens nor on earth be it in the weight or in the size of an atom or lesser or larger in degree, all being recorded in a documentary book that furnishes evidence of facts and of events. The Koran states: The unbelievers say, ‘The Hour will never come to us.’ Say, ‘Yes indeed, by my Lord, it shall come to you, by Him who knows the Unseen; not such as the weight of an atom in heaven and earth, or anything less or greater, all is recorded in a manifest Book (Saba’, 3). Trying to know when the Judgment Day would come, or interfering with Allah’s will is transgressing human limits. Man is unaware of the immediate future of the known and familiar things surrounding him. For instance, he is unable to make an accurate prediction of his future earnings, the time of his death, etc. Allah keeps to Himself the knowledge of the Hour. How could the final fate of the world, which is functioning under the strict control of Allah, become relegated to an abyss of false hopes? The Koran says: Say, ‘No one in the heavens and the earth has knowledge of the unseen except Allah.’ They do not know when they will be raised up again (An-Naml, 65). With Allah are the keys, which open up, disclose and explain the unknown, the mysterious and the obscure which no one knows but He. He has omniscience of all that is on the land and all that is in the sea, and not one single leaf, large or small, laterally produced from a stem or branch, or springing from its root that falls but comes to His knowledge. Nor a seed embedded in the darkness of the interior of the earth, nor anything fresh, moist or green or anything dry, withered or solid, but is inscribed in a Book which is the prototype according to which everything, seen or unseen, but is recorded in a clear Record. This is the mystic Record, the archetypal plan, the Eternal Law, according to which everything seen and unseen is ordered and regulated. The simplest things in nature are subject to His Law. The fresh and the withered, the living and the lifeless – nothing is outside the Plan of His Creation. We read in the Koran: With Him are the keys of the Unseen; none knows them but He. He knows what is in the land and sea, not a leaf falls, but He knows it. Not a grain in the earth’s shadows, not a thing, fresh or withered, but it is in a Book Manifest. It is He who takes your souls by night, and He knows what you work by day; then He raises you up during the day, so that a stated term may be determined; then unto Himself shall you return, then He will tell you of what you have been doing (Al-An’am 59, 60). These Zionist Christians and dispensationalists, do they possess the treasures of Allah’s mercy? Have they control over heavens and earth and whatever lies between them? Is the unseen within their grasp so that they write it down? If so, why don’t they mount up to the heaven and use all the means they have to reach that end. Weak and puny creatures though they are, they dare to raise their heads against the Omnipotent, as if they had dominion over creation and not He! On which day will the doomsday occurs? Questions of this sort are produced by distorted minds. Only the sincere will believe in the Day of Judgment without wanting to know the exact day of its occurrence. This world is a place of testing, and Doomsday is a place of judging people’s deeds, and the final destination is paradise for the god-fearing, and Hell for the evildoers. The fact of the coming of the Doomsday is a certainty. The exact time appointed for it is not revealed by Allah. If it were, it would be so momentous as to disturb our thoughts and life. It will be a heavy burden to us. Our duty is to be prepared for it at all times. It will come when we least expect it. In the present Gospels, Jesus says the same thing: “But of that Day and that Hour knowest no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray, for ye know not when the time is.” (Mark. Xiii. 32-33). The Koran says: They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. Say: ‘The knowledge of it is only with my Lord; none shall reveal it at its proper time but He. Heavy is it in the heavens and the earth; it will not come on you but suddenly!’ They will question thee as though you are full informed of it. Say, ‘The knowledge of it is only with Allah, but most men know not (Al-A’raf, 187). They talk about the Hour as if they have knowledge of the unseen. They demand Allah to haste the Hour. Don’t they realize that a day of Allah’s calendar equals fifty thousand years of the earthly calendar? The Koran says: To Him the angels and the Spirit (Archangel Gabriel) mount up in a day whereof the measure is fifty thousand years (Al-Ma’arij, 4). No one knows whether the Hour is imminent or Allah has set for it a far-off day. He alone has knowledge of what is hidden. In Allah’s measure, our day may be a thousand or fifty thousand years. In the immense past, Allah created the universe; it still continues, for He guides, rules, and controls all affairs: and in the immense future all affairs will go up to Him, for He will be the Judge, and His restoration of all values will be as a day or an hour or the twinkling of an eye; and yet to our understanding it will be a thousand years! We read in the Koran: He directs the affair from heaven to earth, then it goes up to Him in one day, whose measure is a thousand years of your counting (Al-Sajdah, 5). No one knows whether the Doomsday is imminent or Allah has set for it a far-off day. He alone has knowledge of what is hidden. The Christian Zionists attempt to find a theory according to which the differences between truth and falsehood should vanish, so that they might live in the world in whatever manner they liked and have the satisfaction of not being answerable for what they did. The Christian Zionists, dispensationalists, and fundamentalists must understand that there is a Day of Judgment, and heaven and hell. A person ultimate destiny whether is heaven or hell depends on the degree to which that person intended and acted as Allah desires, with justice and mercy toward others. All of creation is journeying toward Allah, and the world will end on some unknown day. At the end of time all people will be rewarded or punished according to how well they followed the instructions included in Allah’s revelations to his prophets. Allah will resurrect the dead, and each person will be judged directly by Allah according to his or her intentions and deeds. Islam teaches that Allah is more merciful than He is wrathful. Each person’s deeds will be weighed in a balance, and if the evil deeds outweigh the good deeds, the person will be condemned to the eternal flame. If the good deeds outweigh the bad deeds, then the person will be rewarded with paradise. The Koran says that each person receives a book that contains an account of all of his or her deeds. If the book is placed in the right hand, the person is destined to eternal bliss. If the book is placed in the left hand, the person is destined to eternal torture in Hell-fire. The Koran states: On that Day (Day of Judgment) you shall be exposed, not one secret of yours concealed. Then as for him who is given his book in his right hand, he shall say, ‘Here, take and read my book! Certainly I thought that I should encounter my reckoning.’ So he shall be in a pleasing life in a lofty Garden, its clusters nigh to gather. ‘Eat and drink with wholesome appetite for that you did long ago, in the days gone by.’ But as for him who is given his book in his left hand, he shall say, ‘Would that I had not been given my book and not known my reckoning! Would it had been the end! My wealth has not availed me; my authority is gone from me.’ ‘Take him and fetter him, and then roast him in Hell, then in a chain of seventy cubits’ length insert him! Behold, he never believed in Allah the All-Mighty, and he never urged the feeding of the needy; therefore he today has not here one loyal friend, neither any food saving foul pus, that only sinners eat.’ (Al-Haqqah, 18-37). Jesus Christ will not atone for the sins of the Christians. There is no vicarious atonement, intercession or intermediaries in Islam. No one stands between man and Allah. If individuals find that they have sinned, they may sincerely repent, and through remorse, receive forgiveness. The slate is clean and they may begin again. This will likely happens many times in a life, because humans are not perfect. But on the Last Day there are no excuses. Allah has sent many prophets to remind humans of their duty and to wake them up when they forget their duty toward the Creator. As a result, the punishment on the Last Day is just. The myth that Jesus in his second coming will take the Christians to heaven, and all other non-Christians will die, is hallucination that will never happen. Such false belief is in fact a glaring racism from a Christian sect trying to escape Allah’s accountability on the Day of Judgment. The holy prophet Muhammad has given the truth about the second coming of Jesus. He said: “By Him (Allah) in whose hands my soul rests, Jesus, the Son of Mary, is to descend amongst you as a just ruler. He will break the cross, kill the pig, abolish Jizya and wealth will increase to such an extent that one prostration will be more valuable than the whole world and all that it contains.” (Bukhari). A similar Hadith on this issue is: “By Him (Allah) in whose hands my soul rests, surely Jesus, Son of Maryam (Mary) will soon descend amongst you and will judge mankind judiciously, by the law of the Koran, as an honest ruler. He will break the cross, kill the pig and abolish jizya. Money will abound in such excess that no one will wish to accept it. A single prostration to Allah, in prayer, will be better than the whole world and all it contains.” Abu Hurayrah, the narrator, added, “If you wish, you can recite this verse from the Holy Koran : “And there is none of the people of the book, but must believe in him (i.e. Jesus as an apostle of Allah and a human being), before his death, and on the Day of Judgment, he will be a witness against them.” (Al-Nisa’, 159). This Hadith expounds upon the justice of Jesus after his descent. Imam Nawawi(d.676/1254) has explained his ruling to be according to the laws of Islam and the teachings of prophet Muhammad. He will abolish Jizya, as it is a kind of payment given by the non-Muslims in lieu of safety and security. This Hadith has also mentioned that Jesus most important mission after descending on the earth, will be the reformation of his people who shall consist of his antagonists, the Jews and his protagonists, the Christians. In those days, the anti-Christ (Dajjal) will be followed by 70 thousands of Jews coming from the city of Esfahan in Iran. Jesus will first put the anti-Christ to death and then make an end to the Jews who followed him. Then he will turn towards the Christians and correct them of their misguided notions, which stemmed from the beliefs of trinity, crucifixion and expiation. His descent in daylight, before all eyes, this very spectacle, will dispel the deification dogma. A human among humans, his physique will refute the dogmas of trinity, divinity, the cross and atonement. With a living Jesus around and spurious beliefs negated, the Christians shall pray to Allah for forgiveness. Naturally, they will all embrace Islam and destroy all the ‘crosses’. As most evils in society take root from pork-eating, Jesus will destroy swine. In this way, he will uproot all destructive and harmful practices at religious and social levels. Christians, converted to Islam, will break ‘crosses’ themselves and also kill pigs and swine. Jesus will put a stop to strife and war. All sorts of contention amongst one another will disappear, whether religious or secular. There will be no enmity nor resentment, no squabbles, no fights. Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet said: “I am most close to Jesus, son of Mary, among the whole of mankind in this worldly life and the next life. They said: Allah’s Messenger how is it. Thereupon he said: “Prophets are brothers in faith, having different mothers. Their religion is, however, one and there is no Apostle between us.” (Book 030, number 5836). Abu Huraira also reported that the Prophet said: “ There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus. He will descend (to the earth). When you see him, recognize him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizya. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him (Sunan Abu Dawud. Book 37, number 4310). This is the truth about the second coming of Jesus Christ, and not the raving and dotage the Christian Zionists are circulating, thus, misguiding their followers without proof or authority. Allah does not share His command with any person whatsoever. Only Allah has knowledge of the unseen in the heavens and on earth, and he associates in His rule no one. There is no changing in His Words, nor can man find any refuge except with Him. The Koran clearly states: To Him belongs the Unseen in the heavens and in the earth. How well He sees, how well He hears! They have no protector, apart from Him, and He associates in His government no one (Al-Kahf, 26). The Christian Right is a threat to America because it is committed to its desire to take over society and remake it in its own rigid, theocratic image. The Christian Right is threatening the world peace because it is interfering in America’s foreign policy thus directing it to siding blindly with Israel on the expense of the Arabs’ right to live peacefully on their land. The Christian Right is a mass movement fuelled by unbridled nationalism and despicable hatred for Muslims and their religion. The movement’s yearning for apocalyptic violence and its assault on Islam are laying the foundation for a new, frightening America. Religious fundamentalism and its role in US foreign policy are seemingly unstoppable. The religious right has gained its influence with America’s powerful elite through campaign contributions, lobbying and policy-making. Through a much wider program of popular media campaigns, the Christian right has entrenched its values in much of American society. The Christian Right successfully infiltrated the Republican Party and at the time of George W. Bush, its supporters took over numerous state parties. This political force, organized around a small number of key social issues and fiscal conservatism, was utilized by Karl Rove to engineer George W. Bush’s victories in the 2000 and 2004 election.  As a reward for mobilizing support for his presidential bids, Bush, himself a conservative evangelical, welcomed leaders of the Christian Right into the White House, through face-to-face meetings and consultations and weekly conference calls to discuss administration policy.  Further rewards included the establishment of a Faith Based and Community Initiative program, which enabled faith based organizations (largely Christian Right) to bid for federal funding to deliver social and medical programs at home and abroad. The ability of the movement to ally themselves with other right wing groupings such as neoconservatives and, more recently, the Taxed Enough Already (tea) party means that they cannot be written off any time soon. Muslims in America and in the world face an imminent threat. The movement is highly resilient and continues to influence US foreign policy. The movement blindly supports Israel. The US invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan was influenced by the Christian Right’s apocalyptic thinking and interpretations drawn from the Book of Revelation in the Bible. On the big foreign policy decisions in the post 9/11 world, the Christian Right produced a ‘just war’ justification for the conflict to counter opposition to the war from the Pope and mainline US churches.  Throughout the conflict, the Christian Right remained the leading advocates and supporters of the war. The Christian Right is unwilling to see any peace settlement that would trade Israeli held land for peace. Support for Israel in both houses of Congress remains overwhelming across the aisle.  Conservative evangelicals have risen to the highest levels within the US armed services and now constitute almost two thirds of all military chaplains.  Members of the Christian Right are disproportionately represented at the delivery end of US foreign policy. When John Hagee, Sarah Palin or Mike Huckabee talk about the “ingathering,” they are speaking a coded language that refers not just to the return of the Jews to Israel, but also to the Christian Zionist yearning for the battle they believe it prefigures. Within their eschatological vision lies the very potential for Israel’s undoing, for it is a vision fuelled by a deliberate intent to incite sufficient hatred to set the Muslim, and ultimately the entire world on fire. And thanks to the efforts of John Hagee, the founder of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas and of his million-member Christian Zionist lobby, the final battle may well come in the form of a nuclear holocaust that Christian Zionists both desire and encourage. Pastor Hagee is the best known of the many Christian Zionists on the scene today. He has spent decades raising millions of dollars to bring Russian and Ethiopian Jews to Israel’s disputed territories. In so doing, he has gone a step further than Christian Zionists before him by providing the means to settle religious Jews on the precise lands that must one day be ceded to Palestine if there is ever to be peace, he creates nearly impossible conditions for a two-state solution. Pat Robertson donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to help poor Jews across the world move to Israel. From Hagee’s perspective, these are lands that God gave to the Hebrews, the Chosen People, and therefore they rightfully belong to them. Having built his career and legacy on Genesis 12:3; that God has promised to bless the man or nation that blesses the Chosen People, Hagee put together a multimillion-dollar empire preaching Christian support for Israel. This makes him one of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s and The American Israeli Public Affairs Committee’s (AIPAC’s) best friend. Whenever issues regarding the division of Jerusalem or the return of land in the disputed territories come up, Pat Robertson and John Hagee and other leading Christian Zionists call on an army of ready foot soldiers to exert immediate pressure on their political representatives. Lest you think that End-Timers are a fringe group, a 2004 Newsweek Poll found that 55% of Americans believe in the Rapture, the moment in which godly, born-again believers are whisked up to be with God in the blink of an eye. Add the fact that 42% of Americans believe that Israel was irrevocably deeded to the Jews by God, and there are more than enough demographic reasons for politicians to support Israel, even when that support might not be in the best interests of the United States. There exists a circular nature to the relationships between Christian Zionists, AIPAC, certain members of the U. S. Congress, and the administration of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. These groups are influential enough to break down any general congressional will to stand up to Israel even when her actions sabotage efforts to build a much-needed peace. It is why Netanyahu was able to slap Vice President Joe Biden so soundly on his diplomatic face when, in 2010, Israel welcomed him with the announcement of the planned construction of 1600 housing units in the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood of East Jerusalem, even though the U.S. had sought a freeze on all such building. It is also why, despite the fact that 61% of Israeli Jews and 79% of American Jews support a two-state solution, the chances that Israel will cede enough contiguous land to create a Palestinian state are rapidly dwindling. In this light, Christian Zionist interference within the disputed territories is contrary to Israel’s and America’s interests. Owing to demographics, the window for a two-state solution is fast closing—as the growth of the Arab population outpaces that of Jews, Israel will either have to cede its Jewish identity or become an apartheid nation. Unfortunately, should anyone offer advice or criticize Israel’s actions, they are instantly—and often wrongly—accused of being anti-Semitic or self-loathing Jews. It is understandable from a psychological perspective that the Jewish people, with their long history as victims of persecution, would welcome their Christian Zionist defenders. The support of fifty million evangelical Christians to the Israelis is more than seductive; it is irresistible. It would behoove those Jews who are taken in by the Christian Right’s love to dig deeper and find out what Christian Zionists say about them behind their backs. The Christian Right believes that God has blinded the Jews to the identity of Messiah. And that those who do not take Jesus as their personal savior shall be doomed for eternity, and that Jewish ownership of Palestine is a prerequisite to the realization of their eschatological vision. From stating that today’s Jews are not “spiritually alive” to suggesting that God intentionally put Hitler on earth for the purpose of hunting down the Jewish people so as to fulfill the biblically mandated “ingathering” of Jews to Zion, the Christian Right shows itself to be rooting for Israel and not the Jews themselves. The Christian Right’s end time’s desire for the final war between Muslims and Christians has never diminished. The danger of the Christian Right is that it is just politically connected enough to coax the world toward a self-fulfilling nuclear apocalypse.  It is therefore evident that Christian Zionists’ goals are counter to a realistic peace in the Middle East (11). Pat Robertson and the Christian Right’s movement plot against Muslims and the religion of Islam, but they will never succeed, because Islam is the only religion of Allah, and Allah defends His religion. Allah will cover them with shame in ways unexpected, for evil is against nature, and all nature proclaims Allah’s glory and humbly serves Him, the Lord supreme. From the facts mentioned above, it is clear that all the work Pat Robertson strived for throughout his life was meaningless though he thinks he was doing good deeds. All his work is fruitless, and in vain, and by Allah, he will be questioned on the Day of Judgment about the harm he caused to those he misguided and lied to, and those he shared in their killing, displacement, and disperse. Among the major sins Pat Robertson will carry on the Day of accountability is the displacement of the Palestinians that were driven away from their homes by hundreds of thousands as a result of the millions of dollars he and Hajee collect from their deceived followers each year to enable the Israelis to build new settlements on the Palestinian lands. Patterson’s hands are stained with the blood of those who died by the Israeli bullets trying to restore their homes back. As it seems, from the long and fierce attack on Islam, there is an agenda directed to defeat Islam and divide the Islamic world into small dominions based on ethnic minorities, different creeds, cults and factions. The Arab spring, the creative chaos, the demolishing of the Muslim states by dissociating its valuables and creating sullen malice and hatred between its people are tools supported by the United States to undermine the foundation of the Arab countries and the Muslim world in general. The Christian Right is behind the division we see now in the Arab world. Their plan is to divide the nations of the Arab world into small dominions based on ethnic and religious differences. The only country that will benefit from this division is Israel of course. The Christian Right and affiliated think tanks, and George W. Bush and his administration as well as Tony Blair are all responsible for the chaos and mischief they caused in Iraq. On March 19-20, 2003, the U.S. invaded Iraq, overthrew the Saddam Hussein regime, and then occupied the country for the next eight and a half years. President George W. Bush said the U.S. went to war to liberate Iraq and “free its people.” This March 19, President Barack Obama issued a statement saluting the U.S. military for their service and giving “the Iraqi people an opportunity to forge their own future…” What did this U.S. war mean for Iraqis? What does it mean for their future? Iraqis killed between March 2003 and December 31, 2011 (when U.S. military forces withdrew): at least 121,754. Iraqi deaths as a result of the war, directly and indirectly due to the destruction and disruption of the war were 655,000 according to a 2006 Lancet study; 1 million according to 2008 Opinion Research Business study; current estimate: 1.2 to 1.4 million. Iraqis injured: 4.2 million. Iraqis driven from their homes: 4.5 million. Iraqi women now widows: 2 million (with many forced into prostitution). The U.S. used cluster bombs, white phosphorous, and depleted uranium against the Iraqi people—all weapons of mass destruction. These weapons are suspected of causing cancer and birth defects. From 2004 up to this day, we are seeing a rate of congenital malformations in the city of Fallujah that has surpassed even that in the wake of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that were bombed by atomic weapons at the end of World War II. November 2005, U.S. Marines murdered 24 unarmed Iraqi civilians in the city of Haditha and then blamed it on “insurgents.” 2006 in Ishaqi in central Iraq, U.S. troops executed at least 10 Iraqi civilians, including a woman in her 70s and a 5-month-old infant, then called in an airstrike to destroy the evidence. July 2007, a U.S. helicopter gunned down 11 civilians in Baghdad. From an Iraqi perspective it just tells a story of an average day under the occupation. The U.S. military tortured and sexually degraded and abused thousands of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison and other torture centers, stripping them naked and terrorizing and humiliating them with dogs. In 2008, more than 24,000 Iraqis were being held in U.S.-run prisons—most without charges. The invasion of Iraq was a war by the United States is a war crime violating the UN Charter, the Geneva Conventions, as well as the U.S. law. The U.S. carried out war crimes against humanity during its occupation of Iraq including the murder, torture, and illegal detention of thousands and thousands of Iraqi civilians. Now let us read the big mockery: Investigations by the U.S. military, government, or media concerning the number of Iraqis killed, wounded, displaced or who died as a result of the war and occupation: None. Mentions of Iraqi suffering in Obama’s statement on the 10th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq: None. Number of U.S. officials or military commanders prosecuted for these crimes under Bush and Obama? Zero. Investigations of the war’s toll on Iraqis: None. Reparations offered Iraqis for their suffering: None. Under the banner of freedom and democracy, America went to Iraq to divide it into ethnic and religious cults and sects! The Syrians were living happily and peacefully in their beautiful homes. Now they are widely referred as Syrian refugees. They left their homes to escape the violence. More than 2 million Syrian refugees have fled the country to neighboring Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan, while thousands also ended up in more distant countries of the Caucasus, the Persian Gulf and North Africa. The number of registered Syrian refugees had reached over 200,000.  Also according to the United Nations, 6 million people inside Syria needed help and about 4 million Syrians were internally displaced because of the Syrian Civil War. The American administration surrendering to the evil desires of the Christian Right, will be responsible before Allah for the hundreds of thousands killed in Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Allah will charge them for the women, elderly and children facing collateral damage and fleeing armed conflicts. It is clear that Allah is not in their horizon. Because if He were, they would not have spread mischief in the Arab world. Through their intelligence, troops, and the evil traitors of Islamic militia they hired and mobilized, they were able to frighten, disperse and displace millions of Muslim families in Syria, and Iraq. They killed hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Iraq, Syria, Libya and Palestine. They created deliberate chaos under the pretext of the Arab spring. The war against Muslims expanded to fight the religion of Islam itself. Islam must be defeated! Army Lt. Col. Matthew A. Dooley taught young American officers that America’s real terrorist enemy wasn’t al-Qaida — but the Islamic faith itself. He taught them that there is no such thing as moderate Islam and that it is time for the United States to make its true intentions clear. Islam as a barbaric ideology will no longer be tolerated. Matthew Dooly thinks that the protection of civilians in war time is no longer relevant, and he opens the possibility of applying the historical precedents of Hiroshima, and Nagasaki to Islam’s holiest cities, and bringing about “Mecca and Medina’s destruction. He further suggests annihilating the 1.5 billion Muslims inhabiting the four corners of the world! This was the military strategy of Dooley to wipe out Muslims from the surface of the earth! Colonel Mathew Dolly was not fired, but moved to another place in the military. Pat Robertson lied to his people about Islam. Turning people away from the truth made him guilty of the worst crime in the eyes of Allah, because not only had he himself gone astray, but also he had become the means of misguiding others. The sin of misleading others is a sin of the misleader himself, and must suffer the penalty for that also without relieving those misled of their responsibility. Pat Robertson conducts himself in life according to false concepts and he thinks he is doing what is right. He thinks he is on firm ground, but surely, he is a man astray. Does he not realize that he will be raised up on a fateful day? Does he think that no one has power over him? Does he think no one sees him? These televangelists with the falsehood they promulgate to their people about Islam, and the lies they spread about the end of time, and the money they steel every year from their followers to build Israeli settlements on the Palestinian land, and the resulting killing of the innocents would certainly bring Allah’s wrath on the perpetuators and those supporting them. Collective punishment could also occur if the influential men of a city were wrongdoers and oppressors. Allah says in the Koran: And when We desire to destroy a city, We command its men who live at ease, and they commit ungodliness therein, then the Word is realized against it, and We destroy it utterly (Al-Isra’, 16). Pat Robertson has surpassed all limits of decency when he announced that the Koran is a theft from the Bible, and that Muhammad is eye wild fanatic and a brigand. He forgot that to his Lord he shall return, and Allah will tell him what he had been doing. He forgot that Allah is terrible in retribution and has prepared for him a humiliating torment. The movement of the Christian Right against Islam has turned America into a rogue country. War against Afghanistan, Iraq, and siding blindly with Israel against the Palestinians is a severe oppression that could bring Allah’s collective punishment on America. Allah has already tried America with drought, hurricanes, fire, and diminution of wealth and now He is testing her with a terrible financial crises haply she might return to her senses, and adopts middle, and just way to all. The unceasing war the perpetrators launch against Islam and their glaring impudence towards Allah the only Lord of all mankind, clearly reveal corrupted souls resenting the truth. They are but destroying their souls but they are not aware. How shall it be, when they are visited by an affliction for what their own hands have forwarded? Satan decked out fair to them the evil of their deeds, and their guile will only come to ruin, and yet awaits then a painful chastisement. Who is going to be responsible for the evil the Americans have planted in our land? Who is going to be responsible for all this bloodshed poured incessantly on our land? Do they think that because they are separated from us by ocean and sea, and because they are playing under cover, we are not aware of their evildoing, that Allah does not see their shameful acts, and His wrath will not reach them! The perpetrators and those they hired to implement their agenda are both responsible for such heinous crime before Allah. America should judge between people in truth, and must not follow the vain desires of these misguided groups that are making corruption in the American land by ruining the minds of their followers with superstitions and false ideas. America the land of democracy and liberty is not free any more. These misguided cults, sects and movements are threatening America’s peace. They control American administration for decades now, and they are dragging America to a third world war. America is sunk in religious superstitions that would certainly take her to perdition. The Christian Zionist program provides a worldview where the Gospel is identified with the ideology of empire, colonialism and militarism. The Christian Zionist doctrine that is preached by evangelical Christians such as televangelists John Hagee, Pat Robertson, Rod Parsly, Franklin Graham, Hal Lindsey, and Richard Land is threatening world peace and the peace of the Arab and the Muslim world in particular. These Evangelicals consider that the present State of Israel’s borders are divinely ordained to encompass all the land that Allah promised to the descendants of Abraham in Genesis 15:18, ‘From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the River Euphrates.’ At its broadest interpretation, those boundaries would take in not only pre-1967 Israel, the West Bank and Gaza, but also all of Jordan, all of Lebanon, the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt east of the River Nile River, the large portions of Syria and Iraq west of the Euphurates River, the Arabian Peninsula, and a sizable chunk of south eastern Turkey. It could conceivably even include the African nation of Eretria and those parts of Sudan and Ethiopia east of the Nile. Zealots declare that no people except the Jews have no tight to possess or live in even one square inch of this vast territory. They are of the opinion that all the land within those boundaries belongs to the Jews, and that Israel has a God-given right to take it from its non-Jewish inhabitants by force. However, if you look at the scripture, it is quite clear that Allah’s promise was to all the descendants of Abraham, not just to the descendants of his second-born son Isaac. The Arabs are descendants of Abraham through his first-born son Prophet Ishmael. Even if one discount Ishmael as illegitimate as the ignorant John Hagee has gone to great lengths to do, the inescapable fact remains that Abraham has other legitimate sons in addition to Isaac. After Sarah’s death, Abraham married a woman named Keturah and fathered six sons with her (Gen 25:1). These became the progenitors of Middle Eastern peoples that over the centuries were assimilated into the larger Arab category. The fear-mongering apocalyptic preaching of self-proclaimed prophets of the End of times such as John Hagee and Pat Robertson and the many thousands of church pastors who follow their lead is destructive and dangerous. Based on such false teachings, Israel gave herself the right to systematically abuse the Palestinians for over sixty years. This contributed substantially to the undercutting of America’s once exemplary moral standing in the world. Ignorant and divisive evangelical Christians in the U.S. must bear a heavy burden of blame for ongoing bloodshed in the Middle East. After President Bush’s Middle East peace talks at Annapolis in November 2007 ended in failure, Hagee’s Christians United for Israel boasted,“The Middle East Peace Summit in Annapolis has ended. As the delegates board their planes back to the Middle East, we are closing our Annapolis Action Alert campaign. This campaign was a great success. CUFI activists sent over 14,500 e-mails to the White House and placed thousands more calls asking President Bush not to pressure Israel to make territorial concessions at Annapolis. We are pleased to report that the Annapolis Summit ended without any such pressure being placed on Israel. In fact, the Summit was little more than an extended photo opportunity. In this narrow sense, our campaign was a success.” The frightening truth is that these so-called Christian Zionists do not want peace. During the lead up to the 2012 U.S. election, Hagee told his television congregation,“God chose Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.… The third world war will start over the issue of who owns that land [Jerusalem and the West Bank] and you’re watching it start right now on national television. The Jewish people do not occupy the land – they own that land.… It’s not a matter of if war is coming between Israel and Iran; it is only a matter of when.’ Hagee and his followers want an apocalyptic Middle East war, which they believe is necessary to set the sequence of events leading to the Second Coming in motion. A frightening nexus has developed between the Apocalypse-seeking American Christian fundamentalists, the Republican Party, and Israel’s Gush Emunim (Bloc of the Faithful), an extremist religious-political Zionist movement cantered among Jewish settlers in the West Bank whose ultimate goal is to expel the Palestinians. A large and powerful segment of the Israeli people have no interest in peace. In a letter to the New York Times in July 2012, Dani Dayan, chairman of the Judea and Samaria Council of Settlements, declared that there could be no two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Dayan stated that there would never be a withdrawal of Jewish settlements from the West Bank, nor would Israel cease to build new settlements. Dayan called for Israel to annex the West Bank, but made no mention of giving its Palestinian residents Israeli citizenship with rights identical to those of Israeli Jews. Instead, Dayan leaves the impression that the Palestinians should become subjects of Israel but not citizens. In Dayan’s vision, Israel is to become an apartheid state. Among American evangelicals, support for Israel has come to mean supporting the extreme Zionists’ aggressive program of land expropriation, settlement building and territorial expansion. Examples of this can be found in the remarks made by Texas governor and presidential candidate Rick Perry in New York on September 20, 2011, and the delegation of Republican congressmen who visited Jewish settlements in the West Bank in November 2011 and expressed their support for continued settlement building. The most alarming is Newt Gingrich’s statement on the Jewish Channel cable network on December 9, 2011,“I think we have an invented Palestinian people who are in fact Arabs, and were historically part of the Arab community. And they had a chance to go many places.” This, together with Gingrich’s other comments in the interview that vilified Palestinians as “terrorists,” amounts to an endorsement of “Transfer” the Zionist euphemism for forcible expulsion of the Palestinians from Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. As history so clearly demonstrates, it is only a short step from ethnic cleansing to genocide. The danger that the Israelis will attempt to expel or massacre the Palestinians under cover of a future war is real and increasing. Bizarre though it seems, Jewish fundamentalists have formulated a perverse biblically inspired Hebrew version of the genocidal Master Race ethos of the Nazis. In 1980, Rabbi Israel Hess published an article entitled “Genocide: A Commandment of the Torah” in which he identified the Palestinians with the ancient Amalekites and called for their extermination. Another prominent leader of this extremist Zionist group, Rabbi Dov Lior, proclaimed that under Torah law it is “permissible for the Israel Defense Forces to attack in the course of warfare a civilian population that is innocent of wrongdoing.” He added that Jews “should not feel guilt out of the morality of unbelievers.” The “unbelievers” whose moral strictures Loir sees no need for Jews to respect are Christians. In 2009, another fundamentalist rabbi, Yitzhak Shapira, published a book entitled Torat Ha’Melech (The King’s Torah) in which he sanctioned killing the children of an enemy people, even infants, to insure that they did not grow up to become a threat to the Jews. Shapira even approved the killing of Gentiles when they present no threat, writing,“It is permissible to kill the Righteous among nations even if they are not responsible for the threatening situation. If we kill a Gentile…there is nothing wrong with the murder.” Another influential rabbi, Manis Friedman, said in a 2009 television interview,“I don’t believe in Western morality, i.e., don’t kill civilians or children, don’t destroy holy sites…and don’t shoot until they shoot first, because it is immoral. The only way to fight a moral war is the Jewish way: Destroy their holy sites. Kill men, women, and children.” This hateful, religiously based racism is becoming increasingly prevalent among Israeli youth. In 2003, Shulamit Aloni, a courageous left-wing member of the Israeli Knesset (parliament), revealed that Jewish religious schools were teaching children that the Palestinians are Amalekites and that killing them is a religious obligation. The accusation was chillingly confirmed in 2011 when a Zionist organization headed by Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu published an editorial in the Israeli Orthodox magazine Fountains of Salvation that envisioned a time in the near future when Israel would establish “death camps” for the extermination of “Amalekites.” This Jewish zealot movement’s racial hatred encompasses more than just the Arabs. In a 2010 sermon, Ovadia Yosef, the Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel and spiritual leader of Shas, a Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) religious political party, declared,“The sole purpose of non-Jews is to serve the Jews.” Of Gentiles, he said,“Why are Gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat.” Effendi is an Arabic word that means “overlord.” In another sermon he declared,“Gentiles were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no purpose in the world.” Put plainly, the Chief Rabbi of Israel thinks that Gentiles—including American Christians—should be slaves to the Jews. Those that are not enslaved are to be killed. John Hagee equated any nation or person who opposes Israel in any way with the Amalekites and contends that their destruction is authorized—indeed commanded and preordained—by God. Brigette Gabriel, a featured speaker at the Christians United for Israel conference in Washington in 2007 declared,“Arabs do not have souls.” The implication of this statement is that since Arabs do not have souls their lives are not sacred to God and they can be exterminated like vermin. This kind of thinking filters down to the local level. Not long ago, I heard one of Israel’s Christian supporters in my home town in Kentucky, a Baptist preacher, advocate that the United States wage a total war that would amount to genocide against the Arabs and Iranians on Israel’s behalf, basing his argument for it upon the notion that it is preordained by biblical prophecy. There is a real danger that by propagating their virulent, anti-Arab racism and strident anti-Islamic fear mongering, Hagee and other preachers that follow his lead will inspire American “Christian” zealots to commit religiously motivated acts of violence against Arabs and other Muslims. If this kind of preaching and the hateful thinking that it instills continues, how long will it be before an American “Christian” version of Baruch Goldstein, the American-born Israeli Jewish zealot who on February 25, 1994, murdered 30 Arabs in the Cave of the Patriarchs (Abraham’s Tomb) in Hebron, walks into a mosque in the United States and starts shooting people? Evangelical Christians who unconditionally support Israel on biblical grounds display a remarkable naivety in their understanding of Zionism’s relationship to Christianity. Truth be told, even moderate Israelis despise evangelical Christians’ religious beliefs, but are willing to exploit them when it serves Israel’s ends. In 1997 a bill was introduced in the Israeli parliament to outlaw Christian missionary activity in Israel. It was narrowly defeated only after prominent American supporters of Israel, including Senator Jesse Helms, Jerry Falwell, and Pat Robertson, warned Israeli leaders that its passage would seriously undercut support for Israel among Christians in the United States. The British Guardian newspaper reported that several American Christian missionary organizations quietly agreed to stop proselytizing among Jews. Anti-Christian sentiment remains strong in Israel. On September 25, 2007, Israeli journalist Josef Gilboa declared in a Jerusalem Post editorial,“We view [Christian] proselytizing with the same distaste that they feel about people who disseminate drugs and porn.… We accept their sincere political support, but view their missionary activities among our people with odium.” Israel is America’s ally only to the extent that the relationship benefits Israel. Israel’s Zionist extremists, are determined to continue expanding Israel’s borders and they will not hesitate to entrap the United States into fighting the bloodiest, longest, most brutal war that the world has ever experienced if they see it as a way to further their hegemonic interests and expansive territorial ambitions. As they have demonstrated over and over again during the last 65 years, Israel’s Zionists do not care if achieving their selfish goals will cost America in moral standing, international censure, treasure, or American Christian blood. The preachers who claim that the current nation-state of Israel is the divinely restored Israel of Revelations and use that argument to support and encourage its aggressive expansionist policies are committing the worst kind of heresy, indeed blasphemy. They are literally attempting to force God’s hand by using the American political process to manipulate foreign policy in such a way as to bring about a predetermined series of events that they believe will automatically lead to the Second Coming. Needless to say, if the chain of apocalyptic events that they have inferred from the Bible, including catastrophic war and a second Holocaust with the Palestinians as its victims, is brought about and then Jesus does not return when anticipated, Christianity will become abhorrent in the eyes of the world, seen by non-Christians as a genocidal doomsday cult (12). The Americans may think they own the world! They say, ‘who is greater than us in power; we are the mighty ones yet.’ Do they not see that Allah who created them is infinitely greater in power and far mightier than they are!  He destroyed nations before because they spread corruption in the land and disobeyed Him. Some, He drove against them a fiercely cold wind swallowing the ground with fierceness and rage, avenging wrong and punishing crime. And some were ceased by a thunderbolt which stunned them with disgrace and humiliation in requital for their deeds of iniquity. He drowned the people of Noah and pharos. I say to them: “ People of the evildoers, take heed, Allah’s wrath is near.” If Pat Robertson possessed all that is on earth, and twice as much, he would offer it to redeem his soul from the awful suffering on the Day of resurrection. Allah will show him what he had never anticipated, the evil of his deeds will confront him, and he will be completely encircled by that which he used to mock at. The very evil of his deeds will recoil upon him. Pat Robertson prefers to gain fame and glory through attacking Islam, and hear the hurrah of his hypocrite applauders. He seeks glory on the expense of Islam, but he who seeks the mundane glory and power must realize that such attributes entirely belong to Allah alone. To Allah mount up all words of purity, and it is He who exalts each deed of righteousness. We read in the Koran: Whosoever desires glory, the glory altogether belongs to Allah. To Him good words go up, and he lifts up the righteous deed; but those who devise evil deeds — theirs shall be a terrible chastisement, and their devising shall come to nothing (Fatir, 10). Pat Robertson, all your deeds in the present life are worthless and in vain. Christian Zionism is a myth, and so is despensationalism. On the Day of Judgment, your worship will not be accepted because you do not worship the One and true God, but you worship His Messenger Jesus the son of Mary. The hatred you showed against the prophet of Islam who came to show you the right path of salvation (pure monotheism and doing good deeds as instructed by the Holy authentic Books) is a disaster placed over your head. You will be held responsible for these iniquities before Allah on the Day of Judgment. Pat Robertson has indeed advanced something hideous. He lied to himself and to his people thinking he is inspired. He lied to his follower when he tried to make them believe that Islam is not a religion but a cult. He lied to them when he tried to make them believe that Muhammad is a fraud. The truth is that Satan has gained mastery over him. Satan desired to lead him astray into far error and he succeeded. Pat Robertson thinks he is on something, and Muslims are the ones that are misguided! This man astray must understand that Muslims are the best people evolved for mankind. This man astray should know that the religion of Islam is universal, it is sent to mankind entire, and not just to the cheep of the children of Israel. It brings good tidings to the believers and a severe warning to the disbelievers. It urges Muslims to enjoin equity and recourse to the principles of justice; and to forbid what is wrong and obscene, and to conform their will to Allah’s blessed will. Out of arrogance, Pat Robertson thinks that he belongs to a people developed while Muslims are rabbles and underdeveloped! On what basis did he come to such false conclusion? What is his measure for judgment?  Is it the advancement in technology his country enjoys? This could be destroyed in a minute if Allah’s wrath touches a rebellious country committing sins every day, or a rogue country oppressing others under the pretext of protecting American interests. Is it because our women are decently veiled and yours are walking naked without decency; or maybe because we hold fast to our religion while your churches are empty and are now characterized by jazz bands, dancing, and yelling! Is it because you have good movie industry spreading debauchery everywhere? Is it because you are living a modern free style characterized by sex outside marriage, gambling and getting drunk, or is it because you women are free to terminate their pregnancy through abortion? Or perhaps because you are living in a free society stained by narcotic and wine addiction, adultery, murder, shooting in schools, sex abuse, homosexuality, and lesbianism – abominations are  spreading like cancer in the American society. Or is it because your people excel in literature and philosophy? Have you read the Koran and saw its eloquence? Have you read the Koran and saw the divine wisdom and the way of life Allah wants His servants to follow? After the Koran, there is no man-made literature or philosophy. There is no questions asking: Who am I, where I come from, and what is the purpose of life? All these questions were answered by the Koran and what remains is to follow the divine discourse. Civilization is not advancement in the military and technology, market surplus or consumer surplus. True civilization is the civilization of ethics. If ethics and good manners prevail, the world lives in love and peace.  This is what the Koran offered. Pat Robertson, you want to know who we really are.  Read the next Koranic verse: You are the best nation ever brought forth to men, bidding to honor, forbidding dishonor, and believing in Allah. Had the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) believed (in the Koran), it was better for them; some of them are believers, but the most of them are ungodly (Al-Imran, 110). Now, Pat Robertson, I am confident that my words will not appeal to you a bit, though they are the truth personified. But, frankly, I do not care. Honestly, I do not give a dam. Now you know the truth though you hate it. Now you will be held accountable before your lord for every bit of truth I already told you. You think you will be left to roam at will. You think you will be left without punishment! Read the Koran: If We had so willed, We could have given every soul its guidance; but now My Word is realized. Assuredly I shall fill Gehenna (Hell) with jinn and men all together.” (Al-Sajdah, 13). Pat Robertson, worshipper of man, a man nailed to the cross, you, polytheist, associating Jesus in worship with Allah, you think you can offend Muslims who carry the banner of monotheism, or hurt them in any way. You, man astray, know you not that never shall Allah forgive the impious irreverence of incorporating with Him other deities, and he who incorporates with Allah other deities shall have committed the most heinous sin? Allah clearly states in the Koran: Allah does not forgive the joining of partners with Him: anything less than that He forgives to whoever He will, but anyone who joins partners with Allah has fabricated a tremendous sin (Al-Nisa’, 47). Allah defends Islam, His only religion. He defends His devotees. Those who turn to Allah in repentance; who worship and praise Him; who fast, bow down and prostrate themselves to Allah; who bid to honor and forbid dishonor and believing in Allah. Allah is with the god-fearing. No one can escape Allah’s punishment. He disgraces his enemies. The enemies of Allah want to extinguish Allah’s light – Islamic monotheism -with which Muhammad was sent, but Allah will not allow except that His light should be perfected even though the disbelievers hate it. Whether Christians like it or not, Jesus Christ was sent to the Jews only and not to the world entire. In Islam however, the Prophet Muhammad was sent to all humanity. The Koran says: And We have not sent thee (O Muhammad) save as a bringer of good tidings and a warner unto all mankind. But most of mankind know not (Saba’, 28). Pat Robertson, do you aspire to be admitted to Paradise? But how and you have humiliated Allah your creator and insolently slandered His Prophet? How dare you insult Allah the God we live by and live for? What is the matter with you that you deny the greatness of Allah and the trustworthiness of His Prophet? How dare you describe Allah as Hubal or moon god? Your impudence and disobedience cannot harm Allah in the least; it is Allah’s will that you will have no share in the life to come and there awaits you a painful chastisement. Don’t you ever think that the respite Allah grants you is for your own good.  He simply gives you plenty of rope so that you increase in insolence and disobedience – shameful punishment awaits you. Allah says in the Koran: And let not the unbelievers suppose that the indulgence We grant them is better for them; We grant them indulgence only that they may increase in sin; and there awaits them a humbling chastisement (Al-Imran, 178). You hasten about the earth to do corruption, and Allah loves not the workers of corruption. You do not stand on anything; rather, you are a man astray. You seek to stir up sedition between people by stuffing their minds with trifles and lies. You did nothing to your followers except increasing their loss. It seems that you have forgotten that Allah ever watches over you, and that His wrath is surely terrible. Allah is enough for us; there is no god but He; we put our trust in Him. High exalted be Allah the true King. He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne. Pat Robertson, decked out fair to you your evil deeds. Lying became your habit, and deception is your motto. Among the major sins you will carry on your shoulder on the Day of Judgment is the displacement of the Palestinians in hundreds of thousands as the result of the millions you collect every year from your deceived followers to enable the Israelis to demolish the Palestinian houses and build instead new settlements on the Palestinian land. The agony the Palestinians suffer in refugee camps after the demolishing of their homes is a heinous sin you will terribly pay for on the Day of Judgment. Your hands are stained with the blood of those who died by the Israeli bullets while trying to restore their homes back. You think you are a man of God! O no, you are the devil in human form, you are the devil incarnate. Humiliation and disgrace from Allah and severe torment will befall you for what you devised. You may laugh at my words now but you have not yet tested Allah’s punishment when the Fire will close in on you. The Koran you deny says about people like you: Nay, but the Hour is his tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. The Day he will be dragged through the Fire on his face, he will be told, ‘Taste you the touch of Hell.’ Pat Robertson, you may be an icon in your country, an icon of fraud and deception of course, but to us, the minute you touched our religion with evil, we saw you a man astray deserving Allah’s wrath – we saw you an empty-minded vulgar cowboy, despised, rejected. Pat Robertson, now I leave you to indulge in idle talk and amuse yourself just a little, until you face the Day you were promised – the Day of Judgment.
